'It’s been one thing after another': Americans are unhappiest they’ve been in 50 years,
poll shows

Spoiler alert: 2020 has been rough on the American psyche. Folks in the U.S. are more unhappy today than they've been in nearly 50 years. This bold – yet unsurprising – conclusion comes from the COVID Response Tracking Study, conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago. It finds that just 14% of American adults say they're very happy, down from 31% who said the same in 2018. That year, 23% said they'd often or sometimes felt isolated in recent weeks. Now, 50% say that. The survey, conducted in late May, draws on nearly a half-century of research...

Comments:

THIS is what this series of "crises" is designed to do...to unsettle people, to diminish their "happiness" and to essentially induce Trump Fatigue in the population. Isolate and bombard with bad news propaganda. Remember how you felt when Clinton left the White House...well, that's the idea. More crises are on the runway to support Mission:Trump.

Do you blame the current administration, who has dealt with it in a rational, efficient, and proactive manner; or the dims and the media who have tried to profit off of the crises and tried to create a drama infused atmosphere of confusion about the crises?

I am angry at the violent racists and communist thugs I see getting a pass on TV with almost all politicians and 100% of the media buying into their evil, anti-American lies and political scams. As to the President, and his policies....I am VERY satisfied, couldn't be happier, given the hideous, criminal conspiracy against him by about all of the other members in government.

Well well, the Media tells us we are Unhappy! It's not like they have been bombarding us non-stop since President Trump was elected, with stories designed to demoralize and divide us. No good news, only bad news. If President Trump were to Walk on Water, the Media would report that "Trump Can't Swim". Of all the parade of intentional disasters- the whole 'Fake Dossier/ObamaGate/Spygate' nonsense (which the Truth is Finally coming out!), countless other lies in the Media..... now the obviously pre-planned and organized riots and looting, all designed to elect a Democ'RAT into the Oval Office. I LOATHE and am DISGUSTED by the MEDIA, but..... I am Happy with my own life, and President Trump is doing a FANTASTIC Job! So...... Leftist Media.... I'm ON TO YOU! You can take a LONG WALK off a SHORT PIER!

Hmmmmm . . . . I seem to recall during the Ovomit years that riots were common, and NO ONE--especially not the president--had the balls to put a stop to it. Plus, illegals were pouring over the border, those with deadly diseases (like Ebola) were WELCOMED into our country, companies were closing down or moving overseas in record numbers, corruption was rampant, and the economy SUCKED! And, according to our "betters," this was "the new normal," so get used to it! To me, THAT was despressing. I suppose with no one teaching history and the media trying to make everything a crises that the results of this survey shouldn't come as a surprise.

The left, of every stripe, is not happy when they get what they want and not happy when they when they don't. I hear a lot of strong talk, about needing to do something significant about their systematic ruining out nation, it's values and it's foundation. For all the posting about doing something and bellowing on endlessly about taking real, substantial action nothing of serious consequence has been done. The left of every stripe commit treason and sedition every minute of every hour of every day. They threaten President Trump daily. Nothing is done about it. Not by the secret service or anyone else. No one held the hands of the patriots at Lexington and Concord.... And yet, they managed to fire the shot heard round the world and free us from tyranny. No official office or bureaucracy or institution got busy. No permits needed to be applied for or issued. Patriots didn't need permission to take their God given freedoms.

Being happy is a choice we make. We have the ability to choose our thoughts. Choose NOT to buy into the "facts" the MSM is trying to sell. When overwhelmed take a vacation from the media. It works; I notice a lift to my spirits when I do that. And I remember that even when things look pretty bleak HE is still on His throne, still in control and well aware of what's going on and working on our behalf. I look forward to seeing what He does knowing that He also has a sense of humor! Why would anyone be unhappy if this is the case?? Dems took God out of their platform so is it any wonder that they have a negative outlook on life? They have no belief system that helps to stabilize their emotions.

For the third time in less than 30 hours, four justices on the state Supreme Court dealt President Donald Trump a setback Friday, saying they wouldn't accept a lawsuit by Trump allies who wanted to let Republican lawmakers instead of voters decide how to cast the state's electoral votes. As with two decisions Thursday, Friday's ruling was 4-3, with conservative Justice Brian Hagedorn joining the court's liberals to rebuff the president as he seeks to take away Democrat Joe Biden's narrow win of the state. "The relief being sought by the petitioners is the most dramatic invocation of judicial power I have ever seen," Hagedorn wrote.

The U.S. government is awash in debt and red ink — and neither President Donald Trump or his Democratic challenger appear bothered by the status quo, an analyst told Yahoo Finance on Wednesday. Last week, the Treasury released data showing how the COVID-19 pandemic helped push the U.S. federal budget deficit above $3 trillion for the first 11 months of fiscal 2020, a rate more than double the prior full-year record. In previous years, the federal deficit — and the mountain of IOUs to investors it signified — would figure prominently in a presidential campaign.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
