Rioters in Columbus, Ohio, launched an attack on the Statehouse in the early hours of Friday morning to protest the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Floyd, who was unarmed and subdued with handcuffs, died after a police officer pinned his neck to the ground with his knee and held it there until he stopped breathing. Protests and riots are ongoing in several cities around the U.S., including Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn., Memphis, Tenn., Louisville, Ky., Denver, Colo., Los Angeles Calif., and Columbus, Ohio. The Statehouse in Columbus came under attack, with rioters breaking windows and some entering the building.

Rioters in Ohio. Ohio is at least 800 miles away from Minnesota. So most likely these people are just put to destroy. Destroying other peoples property is a crime. Act of violence. Shoot them

The criminal actions of one cop (Or 4) in Minnesota do not in any way justify destruction of property in Ohio. No one is taking the side of this cop but any unity we may had has been destroyed by looting violent thugs who see this an opportunity.

The "Protests' are just a media narrative to bash the Trump Admin...The Floyd Killing in Minnesota was reprehensible.... But the narrative fits for the leftist goals....So they, the Media push it.
Saw a story last evening by a local Minneapolis Station that may be the crux of the situation(?) It was being reported that the two men Floyd and Chavin (sp?) were co-workers at a South Minneapolis Bar; Floyd worked inside as a Bar Security, and the Cop (Chavin) was working outside as an off-duty, city police officer. Jobs they had both apparently held for several years. So probably, they knew each other...Was there some personal animosity?
Could Be. Will have to wait for the Criminal trial of the Police Officer.... A ",,,Rest of the story ending...? " You better get ready for it!
[ P.S. Note to Media: Quit calling them 'Protests' they are freaking destructive RIOTS! ]

#1, you bet these riots are not spontaneous. These actions are well rehearsed way in advance to use when an excuse comes along. This isn't about
George Floyd. This is about raising hell and any excuse will do.
Where are the fire hoses???? Tear gas and dogs?
I am disgusted with what happened to Floyd but these riots are not the anecdote to the actions that brought about his demise.

Everyone has the Right to Assembly.
No one has the Right to Riot. No one has the Right to Loot. If you are breaking the Laws, in a manner that endangers your fellow citizens, the police, the National Guard and, for that matter, citizens utilizing their Right to bear Arms, may shoot you.
So, all you BLM, KKK, and other Anarchists, take note. Step out of line and die.

I'm surprised there aren't riots in Seattle. The only reason, I can figure out, is because they have a Black, female police chief and a lesbian mayor.

I expect some sort of siren call or native drumbeat went out across the great Midwest to come Occupy Broad Street, and High Street and all 'hoods in between. That commie pinko Soros is going to run out of nickels and dimes, ere long.

What I have seen in Mexico would be great for riot control: Heavy caliber machine guns mounted on the back of pick-up trucks.

#8 BarryNo, I have lived in Texas 70 years. I have never met a Klansmsn, never heard of a local nor state Klan rally/meeting nor march, certainly not a riot. The whole Klan Krap these days is just a boogie man to scare the right people and keep them voting for the real racists.

No reason for this. Peaceful protest is one thing, attacking a capital house for something that happened hundreds of miles away in another state is completely different. Start firing warning shots, then just start firing away if they don't stop.

Hey, poor Antifa has been cooped up all spring due to CV19. They’re just letting off a little steam now that Soros has paid them to leave the house.
I’d put a /s after my post but the Soros bit isn’t sarcasm.

Just an excuse to riot and set fires

I am so disgusted with these riots. These are NOT protests. Once they start doing damage, it is a riot and they should be tear gassed and water hosed, then escalate as necessary.
I was just watching Martha Macallum on FOX news and they had a live feed from Minneapolis where dozens of hoodlums were trashing police cars while hundreds were close nearby holding up cell phone cameras. Take away the media, take away the helicopters, fire up the tear gas, water cannons and National Guard.
Mr. Floyd does not deserve to have his life associated with this massive lawbreaking. He may or may not have been a petty criminal, but he did not deserve to die - and no matter what the coroner says, he would still be alive today if that cop hadn't had his knee on his neck for 9 minutes!

As op stated re orchestration, I smell Soros behind this...I can see, but do NOT agree, with riots in the city where it happened, but for them to 'break out' in Denver and Columbus and wherever and now possibly the suburbs???
Oh, and reports are that the cop responsible had a LONG history of problems and was passed over by the prosecutor Klobachur...

Will all of the people who hate the south admit water hoses might be a good idea now ?
They are rent a mobs crossing state lines and committing crimes. Shoot them if they don't surrender.

When they broke in, was anybody there? I bet not because the state needs to pad their reasons for a state bailout just like Cuomo is constantly doing.

Although social media allows for spontaneous protests, it may not be inappropriate to consider the possibility that these riots are not spontaneous but are orchestrated.
