When a man got out of his car on a crowded bridge between Kansas and Missouri and began shooting, Master Sergeant David Royer told his fiancée to call 911, hung up the phone, and ran over the gunman with his Chevy. Royer was driving on Centennial bridge Wednesday morning when a man jumped out of his car and began shooting indiscriminately at cars, the New York Times reported. Royer, who served in the army for 15 years, told reporters Thursday that “I was shocked that it was happening and the adrenaline took over and, with the military training that I’ve received, I took appropriate action and took out the threat.”

We must stop this senseless violence committed by people driving Chevys.
Signed,

I think we ought to deputize LOTS of ex-military personnel, give them training and certain immunities, to encourage and allow them to be the emergency responders in these types of situations. Good on ya, Sir, and again - thank you for your service to our nation. We need and love you.

Good job Master Sergeant. When deadly force is authorized, the type of force does not matter. Take out the threat!

In combat type competitive shooting matches, smaller caliber guns are rated Minor caliber and larger caliber handguns are rate Major caliber, with scoring higher for the heavier caliber guns. One saying among folks in this sport is "All cars are Major Caliber", a humorous way of meaning that if threatened while in your car, remember that it has a powerful potential to be used as a defensive weapon.
Well done, Master Seargent. Major caliber, indeed.

39, often when there is a delay in identifying the shooter, he turns out to be of a particular religion...and there has been no FBI statement that the act of terror was not done by a terrorist.
I'm speculating here, but why not speculate?

If local governments are having trouble with unruly citizens and the police are outgunned or out manned, they should take advantage of the part of the second amendment that mentions a well regulated militia and call out that militia, just like in the good old days.

Good driving. I hope he isn't arrested and charged with 1st degree murder, which would have been his fate had this happened in Saint Cuomo's NY where every thug and felon is entitled to anything they want and never have to pay for their crimes and never be jailed either (closing prisons & no bail rule).
