RUSH: Everybody’s jumping all over Trump. I got a headline here on Drudge: “Twitter Apologizes for Trump Tweets.” This is about Trump tweeting that Scarborough murdered somebody, and a lot of people say, “What is Trump doing? Why is he punching down? Why is he wasting time on Scarborough?”(Snip)What about what Trump’s been accused of for three years? Treason, being a traitor, lying about all kinds of stuff. Flynn! What they have done to Donald Trump and his family! Maybe Trump’s just dosing out some medicine. “Okay, Joe, how does it feel?”

All these media that spend 365/24/7 attacking Trump should have their lives examined in the same detail. Their tax returns gone over, their personal character reviewed, biases, education, all of it. Dish it, get it.

I'm almost starting to feel sorry for Joe Scarborough.
Almost.
In a battle of wits, he's unarmed.

Kind of agree, #1, except you're talking about a bunch of pee-ants nobody cares about.

President Trump needs to if ask his lawyer if political revenge is a legal defense to defamation. This will not end well, possibly starting with the election. His accusation is so stale and unsupported by any new evidence or current public interest as to easily qualify as legally malicious, despite Scarborough being a public figure. We are approaching an “at last, sir, have you no decency” moment. The last time it happened a once popular politician’s career ended ignominiously forever. There is far too much at stake to want another moment of this. Pray that he stops.

ENOUGH, Mr. President. It's starting to look cruel, gratuitous and just plain crazy.
You will begin losing votes if this keeps up.
Melania, can you speak to him? Tell him to Be Better, please!!
Funny how you aren't treating Nancy Pelosi like this. She's the one inspiring other Dems to disrespect you, not Scarborough.

Scarborough is a malicious individual and a scoundrel whose "reporting" bears no relationship to the facts. He deserves it, and then some.

There always seems to be a method to his "madness". He mentions something in a tweet and then a few weeks or months later it becomes apparent why he was calling attention to it.
I'm OK with any tweet that agitates MikaKaren!!
Maybe we'll see where this is going sometime down the road.

Scarborough smears Trump and his family almost every morning and we never hear a peep from the so-called mainstream (liberal) media? But after Trump tweeted an old time left wing conspiracy theory that was adverse to Scarborough the media went nuts? Can you beat that.

'Revenge' is the pearl-clutcher's pejorative for justice in a society where the unjust face no consequences.
Although it gives my moral superiority the vapors and makes my self-righteousness indignant, President Trump is only delivering Scarborough the reward he so richly deserves.

I bet posters would be peeved if it was their reputation and character that was attacked daily. Joe Scarborough and Mika have been agitators and now you posters get squeamish. I kind of recognize #4 as someone who seems lukewarm to President Trump and don't really recognize #5.
Megyn Kelly started the whole fiasco in 2016 and everyone got riled. You start it, why should President Trump have to sit by?

Joe, you should wear your vagina hat and then maybe you'd get more sympathy. In the meantime, you should thank the president for the ratings boost you've gotten, since most people don't even know you exist.

Joe can dish it out, but he can't take it. If I'm not mistaken, there's a clip of him making a joke or laughing about the dead intern. I'm sure her family didn't see the humor in it.

We are being told above that what Trump Tweeted has been debunked many years ago and is something that everybody knows is false, if so, how can what Trump tweeted be legally malicious?
You have to figure that if the US had common sense libel laws, that Trump would have had more than sufficient grounds to sue the Democrats, and the liberal media including Scarborough into bankruptcy by now.

I'm thinking this is a major head fake by PDT...that he's got them all worked up over this so they don't notice something else he's doing. He is, after all, a student of Sun Tzu. I wouldn't put it past him to have discussed with Scarborough and said something like listen, I'mma do this and you're not gonna say anything because you owe me. Who knows? But I know PDT well enough by now to know that he generally has a reason for what he does, and a strategy behind it.

It is with some trepidation that this transcript from yesterday’s Rush Limbaugh radio program is being posted; however, posted earlier today is an article written by Mark Hemingway of The Federalist regarding President Trump’s tweets prompted posting Rush’s rational perspective on the President’s tweets, specifically regarding Joe Scarborough. Without question, a man defending his family, as well as his own integrity, is to be admired and respected—a man such as President Trump. Lest anyone forget the wisdom of Abraham Lincoln: “To stand in silence when they should be protesting makes cowards out of men.”
