These two congressional districts could decide
the presidential race

The fate of the 2020 general election could hang on two congressional districts, one in Maine and the other tucked away in Nebraska. Maine and Nebraska are the only two states in the country that split their Electoral College votes by congressional district while also rewarding the statewide victor, giving Democrats extra opportunities to pick up votes in otherwise Republican strongholds. And with the fall fight between President Trump and Joe Biden set to be a tight battle for the White House, every vote will matter on Nov. 3.

If Biden is the dem nominee, and that’s a big IF, and the presidential race is any where near close, this nation is already doomed. Stupidity will long since have ruled the day!

Every election year, same thing. Some district somewhere holds the key to the whole race.

We see this sort of thing in every election. This state or district is going to decide the election. Then we are chided that we must get out and vote, and blamed when our candidate loses. Why bother? If one or two small places decide the election, then our votes obviously don't matter if we are not in one of those districts. Its also a safe bet that those districts will be infested with bussed in voters, dead voters, and multiple voters. Yet it will be my fault if the communist wins. Been hanging out here for 20 years. Seen it way too many times.

Agree with #1. Just the fact of a genuine close race between a President who has kept his promises and a drooling, demented tool of left wing extremists will doom this country. No, it will be decisive - either way. Two districts will make diddly squat difference to the outcome.

Oh, Mitt. Mitt Romney what are we going to do with you. You haven’t been a total pain in the ass, which was a fear—but you’ve had your moments, sir. You voted with Democrats on one of the politically motivated impeachment articles against Donald Trump. You forever betrayed the Republican Party, this president, and should be relegated to the kids' table for all coming time. Then, you’re all worried about Donald Trump firing all these inspector generals, which was already in the works because most if not all are Obama holdovers.

While the Corleone family of Godfather fame was the embodiment of mob life and the acquisition of money, power and prestige through criminal activity, the Trump family––in stark contrast––embodies the nose-to-the-grindstone, upward-mobility glory of the American Dream Nevertheless, when I think of the fanatical, maniacal and relentless persecution, accusations, vilification, and sabotage that President Trump has experienced for the past four years at the hands of crazed Democrats––both in and out of office––the infamously stunning Baptism Scene at the end of Godfather One comes immediately to mind.

There are several lessons we have learned from the CoViD-19 experience such as: the unreliability of predictive models; the danger of depending on foreign supply chains; over-reaction can be a deadly as under-reaction; and the need for better contingency planning. There is one lesson we have not absorbed: to get timely, affordable care, Americans need the private sector, the free market, not the government-controlled health care. When the CoViD crisis began, it was private companies, not government agencies, that quickly produced diagnostic tests, personal protective equipment, ventilators, and developed ideas for both curative medicines

One can pinpoint the exact moment when life in the United States changed, possibly forever. It was the night of March 11th, 2020 and the NBA suspended its season. At about the same time, arguably the world’s most famous actor made a shocking announcement. Within days, states would begin to issue orders restricting the number of people who could gather together. Shortly after that, they began closing schools. But it wasn’t until March 16th that governments began to shut down their states entirely. Why did they take such a draconian step? Because of the release of a bombshell report in Great Britain.

There will be no official "Chinese collusion" in 2020. There will be plenty of collusion among the Democratic Party, the American press, and the Chinese Communist Party to prevent President Trump from winning re-election come November. It just won't be reported or turned into a news story of any kind. Journalists will not spend the next six months breathlessly screaming about the national security implications of America's most lethal geopolitical foe "waging war" on American democracy

He will be expected in Washington, D.C., starting next week to begin serving in Congress. Tiffany also faces another campaign season, too.

Under fire for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, President Donald Trump, his campaign and his party are moving to lay blame for the 80,000 U.S. dead at the feet of the Communist Party of China and, by extension, its longtime General Secretary, President Xi Jinping. “There is a significant amount of evidence” that the virus originated in a Wuhan lab, said Secretary of State Mike Pompeo last week. According to the data, the Navajo Nation has 2,304 cases of COVID-19 per 100,000 people. In comparison, New York has a rate of 1,806 per 100,000. New Jersey follows at 1,668 cases per 100,000. They've been through riots, protests, and natural disasters—but America's colleges have never seen anything like the financial meltdown the coronavirus is about to bring to their campuses. The rising wave of health fears, added costs, and vanishing tuition payments could crush small colleges, many of which were already hanging by a financial thread. Those that can weather the crisis—including big-name universities with billions in their bank accounts—in turn stand to gain big from the fallout. The emptying out of schools and the mass transition to distance learning has already been "the largest all-sector hit that we've ever seen," Jim Hundrieser, a vice president with the National Association

In national polling, former vice president Joe Biden is the clear 2020 front-runner. He's up nearly 5 points in the RealClearPolitics polling average; he's up in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Florida and Arizona. That's because Biden campaigned as the anti-Bernie Sanders: a "return to normalcy" candidate rather than a transformational one. His entire pitch relied on his high name recognition, the general perception of his likability and his unthreatening demeanor. The coronavirus pandemic merely underscored this pitch. Biden hasn't waned in the national polling since the pandemic -- his lead has been utterly consistent. That's true even though Biden has been relegated to his basement, gaffing through completely anodyne statements about COVID-19,
