State Rep. Joe Miller, D-Amherst, joined House Democrats to release their proposal for holding a safe and accessible presidential election in November amid the worst global pandemic in more than a century. Highlights of the plan include mailing a ballot with prepaid return postage to every voter, extending the ballot postmark date to Election Day, enhancing safety for in-person voting and expanding voter registration, according to a news release. “If there is one important lesson to learn from this global pandemic, it’s that we need to modernize our electoral system,” Miller said. “As we learned by the elections in the Ohio primary,

According to the article, “issues” that have been raised by “stakeholders” appear to be typical of Democrat objects that include, but not limited to: - In-person voting, multiple locations, limited precinct consolidation on Election Day. - Sending a ballot to every registered voter, return postage paid. - Multiple secure drop-boxes in communities where voters can drop off ballots in person. - Expand Ohio’s NVRA “Motor Voter” registration agencies to include Unemployment Office. - Reinstate purged voters still living in Ohio. - Implementing Automatic Voter Registration administratively like other states have, giving people the ability to opt out. Democrats will continue working with “stakeholders” to draft their bill and prepare it for introduction.

My fear is the deep state Republicans will let them pass it. It would hand the election to the Demons, who would never, ever let go of power again without having it pried from their greasy, dead fists.

So letter carriers will pick the POTUS. I have been waiting for 4 days for the USPS to deliver a package. Today they said they couldn't deliver it and I'd have to pick it up. Why don't we just elect candidates using Facebook likes?

Fauci says extended stay-home orders

Stay-home orders that extend too long could cause the U.S. “irreparable damage,” Dr. Anthony Fauci warned Friday. Strict crackdowns on large gatherings and other orders, such as for home quarantines, were needed when the coronavirus first hit the nation, but those rules can now begin to be lifted in many parts of the country, Fauci said during an interview on CNBC. “I don’t want people to think that any of us feel that staying locked down for a prolonged period of time is the way to go,” the member of the White House coronavirus task force said.

EXCLUSIVE: Thirty-seven Planned Parenthood affiliates applied for and received a total of $80 million in loans from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight" has learned--and now the federal government wants the money back, saying the affiliates should have known they weren't eligible for the coronavirus stimulus payouts. The Small Business Association (SBA) is reaching out to each involved Planned Parenthood affiliate explaining that affiliates of larger organizations with more than 500 employees aren't eligible for PPP distributions, Fox News is told. The Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PFFA) alone has had more than 600 employees.

It’s not rocket science to say the beginning of Trump hatred came from the Clinton campaign. He was once feted in New York, even by liberals. How did it change from high regard to hated? One thing is clear, dislike was instant once Trump entered the race as a Republican, increased as he ran, and took a quantum leap forward when he won the election. To this day the hatred has grown on a level hardly thought possible. (Snip)It’s beyond over the top, it’s beyond unsetting, but there it is for all to see.

Perhaps the most troubling-- and dangerous--aspect of the current political conversation is the unwillingness of virtually every elected official and every media pundit to confront what “Obamagate” is obviously about, which is treason. Specifically, treason committed by the Obama White House in attempting to block and then overthrow the Trump presidency. Obamagate is about the failed attempt by President Obama and his appointees to use government intelligence agencies to spy on the Trump campaign and White House, to concoct a phony accusation of collusion with Russia against the president and then to obstruct his administration and overthrow him.

Every state and local politician who imposed lockdowns pursuant to the COVID-19 pandemic claimed their decisions were based on “the science.” In reality, they ignored the advice of leading epidemiologists, relying instead on statistical models produced by “experts” with histories of wildly inaccurate projections. The most notorious of these oracles was, of course, Neil Ferguson of Imperial College London, who claimed that coronavirus could kill 2.2 million Americans. Based on such apocalyptic predictions, combined with overcautious warnings from Beltway bureaucrats like Dr. Anthony Fauci, all but a few governors implemented economically destructive stay-at-home orders — despite the reservations of respected epidemiologists who questioned the logic of lockdowns from the beginning.

There are so many angles to the FBI-Michael Flynn imbroglio, and most have been covered in great depth across a divergent set of viewpoints. But one aspect that has not been covered, and that opens up a wider lens into FBI policy, is the fact that the FBI refuses to audiotape, much less videotape, interviews of witnesses or suspects such as Flynn. That policy is counterproductive and makes no sense in 2020. The FBI needs to take itself out of the J. Edgar Hoover era and align itself with modern law enforcement best practices.
