Media Must Report Truth Of

As new details emerge about the Obama administration’s broad spying-and-leaking campaign against the incoming Trump administration, reporters have a choice to make about whether to cover this story honestly, at long last. There is a brief window of time afforded the media to get the story right. They should take advantage of it.

More spot-on analysis from Molly Hemingway. Let's hope American voters have (1) developed herd immunity to the MSM and (2) adopted what Vietnam prisoners of war did 50 years ago: Listen to Radio Hanoi and believe the opposite.

"Media Must" . . . . Yeah, whatever! The media is going to do whatever the media wants--whether they have an audience or not. My belief is that they get most of their funding from American-hating entities, not advertising, so they don't give a whoop what anyone thinks.

The media are Democrats. That is not going to change. The media does not care about their reputations. The media are propagandists that gauge their results by opinion polls, not by how truthful they have been. That is why the media doubles down on their lies to get the opinions they want. The ideology is what matters, not the truth.

Mollie, it is already too late for them. They threw their dice in with the democrats, and thanks to that, the democrats are going to drag them down to destruction with them. People, we have it in our power to completely bring the media to their knees if we will only stiffen our spines and use that power.

A truthful journalist states the obvious. LDotters have long been skeptical about the MSM. That is why it is so shocking to the oldtimers to see some being influenced - swayed or at least made to doubt - by what those liars put out. Hemingway was on Mark Levin last night. Made it clear that rather than reporting what was really going on during the coup to take down Donald J. Trump, whether at the campaign/election level or after he was elected, the media joined the coup...

It is already too late and even media people who see where this is going say "But Trump" which is an excuse to absolve their behavior. I agree there is room to be a critical, reputable reporter without being a Trump fan. But let's face it, when 95% of reporting is negative, ALL of them are in too deep to back out now. Their reputations are already destroyed. If Fredo said Trump was God, I wouldn't believe him. The few people that Mollie cites as accurately reporting on the spying scandal are doing so because they don't want to look like morons. It was like trying to deny the sun came up this morning. "The truth is an existential threat to journalists" Mollie says this in relationship to the #Obamagate story but I would suggest it is a true statement of the current nature of journalism as a whole because they are NOT journalists, they are propagandists. Lying is now the nature of who they are and truth is their enemy. We ignore their NATURE at our peril.

Bach (typo but I'll call it an intended pun) when I and my buds were teenage musicians, the guitar player's father and provider of rehearsal garage asked a few questions. He said, Do you want to be rock stars?" Obvious unanimous answer. Who are your favorite musicians ? Each of you bring me an example next rehearsal. We each brought in a different album and put them on the stereo with our favorite song from the album. The dam Dad listened to all of the and said …. They're pretty good. By the way, that's your COMPETITION. Get practicing. These "journalists don't realize that they are a garage band and they read like one.

Don't hold your breath, Mollie. The most we can expect is it could be briefly reported at 2am while everyone is asleep, then the story will be buried by 6am. The newspaper rags will publish a paragraph on it appearing on Page 41 at the bottom.

FTA: The truth is an existential threat to journalists, which is why the more activist among them are scrambling to kill the story and paint it as a distraction. Mollie is more optimistic about journalists finally telling the truth than I am. I think they have a personal interest in keeping the pubic in the dark about Obama's crimes and will never tell the truth to their readers/viewers. The battle lines are drawn and their double standard will forever remain.

They placed their bets on the wrong pony soldier, there is no taking it back now. If they have to lay off thousands of people and sell their buildings and printing presses they will have earned every bit of that misery. Maybe they can sell it all to China where lies and propaganda are more fashionable.

"Too late for them"? For me that line had passed decades ago. In the 1970's I wasn't really a political person, but I started noticing a true anti-gun bias in both news print and television. It just kept getting worse and worse. Now, it's so obvious that anyone who is not a brain-dead koolaide drinking liberal can see it.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is conflating the results of two different types of coronavirus tests, distorting several important metrics and providing the country with an inaccurate picture of the state of the pandemic. . . The upshot is that the government’s disease-fighting agency is overstating the country’s ability to test people who are sick with COVID-19. The agency confirmed to The Atlantic on Wednesday that it is mixing the results of viral and antibody tests, even though the two tests reveal different information and are used for different reasons.

Over 86,500 people have reportedly died in the United States from the Coronavirus, and the fear generated by those deaths is driving the public policy debate. But that number is a dramatic overcount. Our metrics include deaths that have nothing to do with the virus. The problem is even worse as the Centers for Disease Control over counts even some of these cases and the government has created financial incentives for this misreporting.

Is it possible that Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Coronavirus Task Force are suffering from temporal myopia? According to the Encyclopedia of Psychopharmacology, “Temporal myopia is the inability to consider the long-term outcomes of an action when making a choice.” I am a certified behavioral analyst, not a psychologist, so I’m not in a position to diagnose. But from what I can observe, Fauci and the Task Force have made some horrifically short-sighted choices.

Since the media-whipped-frenzy surrounding Covid-19 took over the news, an increasing number of doctors are openly stating their disagreements with the recommendations of the government’s experts, Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx. The problem? Many of these on-the-front-line medical professionals are being ignored or mocked. Some medical professionals are even seeing their videos removed from social media platforms. The reason? Their views don’t align with the prevailing narrative of the media and what I’ll call the globalist medical establishment.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
