Is Big Pharma behind the great war

When President Trump brought up hydroxychloroquine as a promising potential treatment for COVID-19, a huge upsurge of negative political publicity followed from it. It was strange stuff, because up until then, the treatment, which had been safely used to treat malaria, lupus and athritis, had been seeing promising results for COVID-19, too. Yet the condemnations from all sides poured for weeks. It wasn't just the political establishment blasting it, it seemed to be the medical establishment, too. And that raises questions as to whether financial interests might be involved here.

Big Pharma of course wants the cure to be Remdesevir, but Hydroxychloroquine + Azithromycin + zinc actually works a lot better and is cheaper. The leftist globalist ghouls don't want a cure because they want to destroy Trump. Throw that into the mix.

I understand Hydroxychloroquine is about 30 cents a portion. Their (Big Pharma) drug is about $1000 a portion. That's all you need to know.

Is the headline rhetorical ? Follow the money. The 'scientific' con-folks that the President has listened to are far more interested in $, celebrity, and power than they are in an inexpensive cure. Else WHY are they guests on news shows ? as they already stated their ideas in the press briefings. Incidentally , 'remdisivir' is FAR MORE expensive than alternates and the scientists have a vested interest its being the med of choice.

I've got an idea: Let democrats take Remdesevir, while the rest of us take Hydroxychloroquine + Azithromycin + zinc. Then, we'll see what happens.

Big Pharma needs a spanking, and Trump is the guy to administer it. Kinda cocky of them though, stuck in China like they are, to be biting the hand that could save them. You just know that China wants to nationalize them and hold us hostage with our meds. I think we can be pretty sure that all options are on the table right now for Beijing when it comes to getting some of their own back, after decades of being unchallenged by the West. Meaning Trump of course.

I've been trying to understand the reason the NIH and Fauci, et al. have been so opposed to a treatment proven to be effective and inexpensive. This article provides some insight. In the time the NIH has taken to test and provisionally approve the use of Remdesevir they could have performed similar tests on Hydroxychloroquine.
Given all their failures to protect us from this virus, and their "playing politics" with treatments I'm convinced the NIH is as corrupt as the FBI.

There are all sorts of wheels turning within wheels as virtually everyone but the small business proprietor still shuttered looks to profit from all this. From the White House to the local government, from the board rooms of multi-nationals registered in Delaware to the special interests of all stripes...we're talking TRILLIONS here already on the table, with the promise of more (and likely more still) coming. Even the public is clamoring for more, from more universal cheese to "hazard pay" and HERO bonuses.
Toss in a military stunt team flyover and you got a deal!

Methinks Trump Derangement Syndrome is all that is needed to explain the crazed reaction.
Somewhere a bunch of pharmaceutical executives are sitting in a room wondering why people think they would suppress an effective treatment for a disease that could strike them or their loved ones at any time.

Bottom line: Moneyed interests start big campaign to stomp out an inexpensive and de-centralized rival. Possible reason? Dump on Trump and/or kill more population.

BINGO, you get the prize! If Big SCAM Pharma can't make a bundle they release their well paid sycophants to trash generics, home remedies that have worked for centuries, Natural Healing that has great successes and any drug they no longer have a Patent on. The finest Medicine that sorta works with bad side effects that money can buy! The pill costs 2 cents to make but a 1 a day supply sells for $1500/week...Really?

Remdesivir is going to go for 4000 bucks a pop and Uncle Sucker (us) will pick up most of the tab.

Of course they are, but more importantly--they need this virus to achieve their goals. They are not interested a solution. They're not interested in the health and well being of Americans. Everything they do is aimed at destroying us physically, financially, and as a society.

Spoke to an infectious disease doctor in New Orleans who works at the VA. I asked him what they do. He said everyone is on hydroxychloraquin because it is the only one and the cheapest, AND it works. No one medicine always works. Penicillin wouldn’t be allowed on the market today because of the prevalence of allergies to it. Fauci is such an egghead intellectual. I will bet he doesn’t currently have a license to practice medicine.

Actually, I think people are looking past the obvious. This is just a manifestation of severe TDS.
The Enemedia, 99.9% of them, PERSONALLY hate Trump so virulently that they couldn't STAND to hear that he supported some treatment that was unusual at first, but which turned out to work. Trump being right and showing he is smart, just drives them to insanity....a pretty short trip for many of them, teetering on the brink their whole lives.
So they had to trash the treatment, it HAD TO BE a bad idea, it was a way to act out their hatred for Trump.
They twist ALL the news this way. If news is good for some view that Trump supports, they do their very best, day and night, to show how that view is wrong, they cover up the news that shows Trump in any sort of a good light.
They are the Enemedia, they are our enemies. They are deep into TDS.

Having spent over 20 years of my career in "Big Pharma" -- with a number of those years actually selling Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) -- I agree that Big Pharma is gonna try to deep six any cheap or non-branded cure for COVID-19. In the late 80s and early 90s, the marketing hucksters took over what used to be called the "ethical drug (prescription drug)" business, selling drugs like soap or the newest facial cream.
And don't be surpised if one of these hucksters bring out a combo HCQ+AZ+ZINC tablet, priced at many multiples of the cost of the single products combined. I've seen it happen before.

#15, I'm not certain, but I believe Dr. Fauci, if practicing in a federal facility, would not need a license to practice medicine. States do the licensing of physicians, and most of the physicians I worked for in the USAF were unlicensed. (There may be a federal licensing procedure, though, that I am unaware of.)

Well, I'd ask the O'Jays. They seemed to have a handle on the situation way back in 1973.
For the love of money
People will steal from their mother
For the love of money
People will rob their own brother
For the love of money
People can't even walk the street
Because they never know
Who in the world they're gonna beat
For that lean, mean, mean green
Almighty dollar, money
Money, money, money, money, money

Yes! It’s cheap. There’s a generic version. It’s widely and rapidly available for use.
That’s the opposite of what THE EXPERTS are seeking.
