Democratic presidential nominee-apparent Joe Biden got hit with a double-whammy today from his one-time allies in the major media. “How will the Democrats pull a Torricelli and replace Biden on the ticket with someone who can win?” used to be a question limited to the comments sections on the right side of the blogosphere. Now it’s a question debated openly on the op-ed pages of the MSMDNC’s two biggest newspapers.
In the New York Times on Sunday, “Catholic Left” opinion writer Elizabeth Bruenig argued that “Tara Reade’s allegations against Joe Biden demand action,” and that she “can assert with firm conviction”

Okay, the democrats do the switch. I'm still wondering who they would replace old Joe with. Cuomo? I don't think so, we could sink him with murdering all those seniors in New York. I'm stumped. Cuomo is carrying too much baggage. Any suggestions?

But I thought the latest Fox News Poll showed Biden leading Trump by 11 points?

Maybe there is some validity to running Mrs. Hussein. She has the Q factor (name recognition and a certain likeability in the leftist demographic).
The only question would be could the bribe her enough to get her off her butt.

Why was so much money spent on the primary process in ads and expenses for polling? Was all that money wasted? If the DNC is looking to replace Uncle Joe, they should look to the runner ups who were actually in the primary races. How'se about Bernie or Bloomie or Pokey or Kammie or Buttie can you spare a dummy.

I'm just curious as to how many dems would be outraged if PIAPS replaced Joe? She hasn't done a thing to campaign for the nomination, and for her to jump in at the last minute? If I were one of the others, especially Bernie, I would be livid and take my supporters and refuse to vote for her. There would be a scary uprising in the streets.

The Moocher has pleaded no contest to a criminal charge in Illinois and given up her law license. All that has conveniently gone down a memory hole. IMO, the 0bamas won't risk it against the Donald. Willard or Heb maybe.

I've suspected this for a while now. It hit home the other day when Mika whatsername asked him hard questions. The communist media never asks dem candidates hard questions. The fact that she did suggests he isn't expected to be a candidate.
By the way, I still hate her Karen hairdo.

I'm pretty sure Joe is just a sacrificial lamb to begin with and the goal for any serious candidate is 2024. The problem is that he has proven to be unconvincing even in that role. Does Hillary really want another loss to seal her destiny or would she prefer to live out her days as having "won" in 2016 if not for the Ruskies and voter suppression. Michelle and Barry are living to celebrity life and I think she's close to finishing the payments on her student loans, does she really want to put a halt on that rock star existence?
Look more for someone that they have no problem feeding to the wolves. I don't think they give a rip about Bernie but he could screw things up for 2024, the next real chance, by creating a greater backlash against socialism. The gains are to be had in selling socialism, not actually implementing it. They really want fascism, let the private fools do the work and take what they want. They need the lure of capitalism to generate something to steal.
Would they dust off Lizzy the translucent woman of color?

It didn't look good for the dimmies a year ago and it looks even worse now. Joe's 24 primary buddies all were found lacking in one thing or another, lack of money, delegates, sound ideas, honesty, brains, manhood, you name it. Now Joe is riding in that boat. What to do?

Seems to me that joe’s replacement has to be Bernie or the excrement will hit the fan. He still has his delegates and is in second place in the delegate count. As in beauty pageants, if the winner becomes unable to continue, the runner up is crowned. Bernie is the runner up. If the DNC does not give him the nomination, the instant rioting in the streets will only be the first of their problems. They will stay home on 11/3 or they might even vote for Trump in revenge. Without the votes of the Bernie Bots, no one on the left can win. And Bernie can’t win either.
This is delicious!

You have to realize that dems in the know, KNEW what Uncle Joe is and his compromised mental state and ALLOWED this travesty to proceed. PLUS, consider all the high level dems that have endorsed Joe the Groper. The takeaway from this is that dem leadership will push forward and endorse a rattlesnake and the propaganda media will fall in line to support it, rattles, venom, and all if they think they have a chance to win the election.
Let's be clear. Biden is not being rejected because he abuses women or is mentally incompetent. The dem leadership is OK with that! He is being rejected because he cannot be elected, in spite of the fake polls that say he is ahead.
The truth is, there are not ANY dems that can win the election this November. Maybe they can find one that could lose without too much embarrassment. Any volunteers to be the sacrificial, designated loser?

This is all hypothetical considering that Dementia Joe hasn't even been officially nominated yet and thus isn't on the ticket yet. In fact, due to the delay of the primaries, he hasn't even garnered the minimum number of delegates to be be the nominee. He's merely the presumed nominee because every other candidate has suspended their campaigns. Considering this, their best maneuver would be to get some of those candidates back actively in the race to suck up delegates once the primaries resume and shoot for a brokered convention.where Old Groper would be denied the nomination.

The Democrats leadership pushed for Biden to be the nominee for President. The Democrat faithful voted for him in the primaries. Now the Democrats leadership want to replace him. It will be interesting to see how the Democrats leadership will justify ignoring the votes of the Democrat faithful to choose somebody else.

It would be easier and a whole lot less messy to replace Old Quip Pro Joe after the convention.
He gets his moment in the sun, he gets into the history books as a true POTUS contender --- but, sadly, he has to pull out for "health reasons" so he gets a ton of sympathy and lots of "gee ... too bads" and "he could have beaten Trump but ...".
Then they throw in Gruesome Newsom or Randy Andy at the last minute or even someone they know can't beat Trump as it makes no difference. Their real eye on the ball is Congress, not the White House. Their battle cry then becomes: "Hold the House and take the Senate!! Let's tie Trump down like Gulliver!!"
Conceding the White House to Trump but taking both of the other two sides of our government would not only tie Trump in knots but guarantee that he'd be impeached (again) and there would be no judges, no wall, no punishment for China, etc. The Dems master plan is to defeat Trump. Anyway they can.

The democrats play their cards wrong with every hand. They lose time out smarting themselves. In 2016 I feared Bernie Sanders in the nomination against candidate Trump. Trump was yet to prove himself and had no political track record. The democrats messed up playing Hillary Clinton as queen of the ball when she was just as unproven as Donald J. Trump. Sanders was my most feared that year because he was steam rolling with his backers for socialism. Now here they are it's going to be four years and President Trump has proven himself. Presenting Joe Biden was a mistake after eight years of failure with Obama and his health failing also hoping a VP choice will help old Joe. I think the thing to do is let Bernie Sanders have his delegates and lead the party to defeat in 2020 and be done with it. Kamala blanket head Harris could be Bernie's VP choice so the Trump administration could devastate to birds with one stone.

When George McGovern kicked Tom Eagleton off the ticket in 1972, McGovern did not go to someone who had also been running for the nomination.
he picked Sargent Shriver to replace Eagleton. Shriver was JFKs brother in law, ran the Peace Corps, never ran for any elective office prior to 1972, if my memory serves me correctly.
If Biden is knocked off prior to the dimocrat convention, I don't know how the party stays in one piece. it could be 1912 all over again.

All of this talk about 'investigating' this sexual assault accusation is joke. There is nothing to investigate. It is his word against hers. I have no reason to think that his woman is a liar. I have plenty of reason to think Biden is. But there is no proof of anything. If the Democrats really thought Biden could win this election this story would not be anywhere in the news ever and no one in the liberal party would care whatsoever about this woman. The DNC is using this as an excuse to dump Biden. Evidently his dementia wasn't a big enough issue. No matter who they replace him with there are going to be a lot of butt hurt voters who think they got back stabbed. And they will be correct about that.

This all makes no sense...
The Dem kingmakers choose Biden to be their nominee, well knowing he is an elderly creep, an incompetent politician, a perpetual gaffe machine, a landslide loser outside of Delaware.
Twenty candidates of various weights (mostly light) are defeated, largely by Bernie, until the Biden juggernaut suddenly begins rolling to victory. The field is reduced to a few, and then none as they are either run off or bought off without a whimper in favor of Biden. (Bernie departs with a smile...check his wallet.)
Endorsements flow to the presumptive 2020 Dem Presidential Candidate. All hail the victor! He's promoted with polls showing he'd win in November.
And now they're going to dump him? While it could happen, one wonders what this portends for the elites that boosted Biden (presumptively) to the nomination. And then to open a fight to replace him...hardly a way to keep friends and influence people. And to "draft" Hillary, Michelle, any Cuomo, or anyone else would be absolute electoral suicide. Plain chaos displayed on a national stage too big to ignore if they hold a convention, largely driving away those "moderate" traditional Democrats, who still believe in a modicum of honesty in elections.
No, there is something more afoot...

Don't see how anyone named Clinton or Obama saves the day for the Democrats in 2020. They may still end up with an Obama or a Clinton, but it will because they are so greedy for personal power, and that's a big turnoff.
People rejected them in 2016 because they killed so many jobs, tried to run everybody's lives, and played pander politics. None of that has changed. Instead they have double downed. We had a ton of Democratic candidates saying "Vote for me because I'm a woman/black/hispanic/gay, and if you don't you are sexist/racist/homophobe". They were all roundly rejected. Socialist Sanders was roundly rejected because people don't want big government tyranny. After the dust settled, all that remained was Gropey Joe 'Befuddled' Biden. They are stuck with him.
People don't want a candidate just because they are a woman, black, hispanic, or gay. It might appeal to one segment of America, but what about the rest of the voting public? People don't want big government tyranny. It just killed tens of millions of jobs without a single vote. All in the name of public 'safety'.
The Democrats have been on the wrong path or a very long time. The media cannot lie and cover up for them. Their policies are totally wrong. They cannot scare and manipulate enough voters. All they have left is fraud. The Democrats can still win, but only if the Republicans let them which is still very possible. Don't kid yourself. The Republicans enforced social distancing and locked down the country almost as much as the Democrats. Once again the Republicans failed to differentiate themselves enough from the Democrats. The Democrats screamed 'fire!', and the republicans jumped. That includes Trump. They better be aware that they are walking on thin ice.

No D wants to take on Trump unless they're virtually a lock, which wouldn't be know until fall, so Biden is the best bet.
Ds can then insert their preferred ruler into the VP spot in case they get lucky, some other crisis develops late, or mail-in-balloting is OK'd nationwide and DjT loses. Placeholder Joe suddenly resigns in February.
Each leading potential D candidate has huge issues if they lead the ticket, but might escape scrutiny as VP. : Clinton, Cuomo, Sanders, Warren. Then there's the also rans: Yang, Klobuchar, Mayor Pete. I think it'll be Warren.

Here's a suggestion for the identity-politics-loving Dems: Draft Meghan Markle! She's looking for a job. Eight years ago, the tingle in the Leftist Liberal Legs, was undeniable that they were the first party to nominate a "Black" "man" to be president! What a thrill to nominate a duchess! America would finally have the celebrity and royalty that it has hungered for! Camelot reborn!
