Few living Americans have ever seen the troubles we’re going through now. We’re not at war, nor are we enduring the moral equivalent of war. But we’re in a struggle. And for many, it’s been made worse by governors who have gone too far.
Gretchen Whitmer, the Democrat who thinks she runs, rather than serves, Michigan, might be the worse of the lot.
“She has,” say Andrew Fillat and Henry Miller, both regular I&I contributors, “exhibited a stunning dumbness that, even among politicians, is extraordinary.”
Her “decrees in the name of mitigating the spread of COVID-19 have been both bizarre

Let me add Andy Bashear...progeny of the last Democrat governor. We are still pretty much under lockdown. We can get our dogs groomed, but salons and barber shops are still closed for another two weeks. Give me a break! He is so afraid that he makes decisions with all the speed of an Alaskan glacier. The only good thing I can write is that his legislature AND administration are conservative Republicans.

There are many that believe the reason NY Metro has half of all the cases in the USA was caused by the subway breeding grounds. Now two months into this we have an optic of Cuomo spraying down the cars during the few hours a day they have suddenly closed them. He and his butt buddy Mayor screw up the response then try to get credit for all the deaths. The worst part is the voters in NYC, who were once the most sophisticated, are now the dumbest and most of the former have fled the City. Voting your heart instead of merit can kill you.

In my mind Pritzker has committed two unforgivable sins,
1) He tried to fleece the responsible states by asking them to pay for our sins that had nothing to do with COVID 19 but were caused by purchasing votes with capital that doesn't exist, and can never be raised.
2) He spoke of swastikas at the freedom rallies, which were absolutely not there. The closest thing was a condemnation of his policy, a Work sets you free sign. When my governor categorized me by extension as a Nazi for daring to disagree with him that crossed a line.
The problem is as bad as he is we don't exactly have a good track record, it could be worse, much worse. Is that "Indiana Want's Me" I hear in the background?

I live in NYS. I cannot watch Cuomo, the manslaughter king, master whiner, and panderer to the citizens, for more than 30 seconds without turning him OFF. He is the ultimate fool and totally incompetent. He has botched the State response to the COVID-19 virus in an unimaginal way. Currently, he has Counties locked down that have extremely few cases of the virus, one being 17 in 58,000. More people are getting sick and dying from multiple other medical reasons that the Coronavirus. He thinks that NYC is the center of the Universe and
his only goal is being a celebrity Governor, which is why he is on TV every day spewing his hysterical nonsense.

I'll add Jared Polis from the People's Republic of Colorado, a lefty who got elected courtesy of the Denver deep state. While he sits in his comfy home in Boulder and the Denver msm protects him from citizen unrest, most of the state is still mired in a full lockdown. But, here is western Colorado, our county commissioners told Polis to take a hike. Our county and its businesses are opening despite threats from Polis.

Gov HalfWhitmer- evil intentional destructor of the (former)Great State of Michigan .
Jack booted thuggery from Nancy Pelosi’s Botox prodigy. She enacted further suffocating rules in spite of legislators voting NO to further extend shutdown.
She will have legal battle- and rightfully so.
I personally call her Lord Farquaad’s Evil Twin.. from Shrek 1.. take a look and see if I am not right!!

Good examples all, but I still think Pennsylvania's Governor Wolf has earned the Curly Joe award for pure stupidity by closing down the state's highway rest areas two days into the lockdown while expecting truckers to continue making regular on-time deliveries. He should be required to use an unmaintained Porta Potty in his home for a year.

I nominate Roy Cooper of NC. He is every bit the fascist Whitmer is, but as a pretty boy Chapel Hill grad he gets tons of media cover. He is holding hairstylists and restaurant owners hostage until June.

#3, I saw Pritzker's press conference yesterday. Hilatious. The news video showed a couple of signs with swastikas on them that Pritzker piously said were evidence of people (i.e., "Nazis") whose beliefs were shameful and that all the good people of Illinois should and would reject them.
Not so fast there, fatso. What was so absurd about his characterization was that the signs clearly weren't an expression of the protester's belief, but quite the contrary, implying that Gov. Pritzker (and his ilk elsewhere) was acting like a fascist dictator. It was jaw-dropping that he would so piously drone on about such a mischaracterization of the signs. And of course, the local news reporterette made no attempt to correct that. Despicable enemedia.

#1 I refer to Andy Beshear as Sheriff Andy, although he acts like Barney. All the Karens in Kentucky luuuve him and he even has his own bobblehead. He isn't as bad as Whitmer, but he acts like a scared puppy

Dare I repeat "You elected her; now suffer for it!" But that isn't right for all those who did not vote for her, so what to do? Perhaps just ignore her and her Nazi orders. If everyone does, what can she do? Can't arrest everyone.
What about a recall? Short of armed rebellion I don't see much else to do.

governor wolf of Pennsylvania appointed as his health commissioner, a man who thinks he is a woman - Rachel Levine, who is the ugliest woman on the planet. Levine was a man while in medical school, married a woman during fourth year, sired two children, and was teaching at Penn State's medical school in 2001 when he decided he was a woman. He was teaching psychiatry at the time, by the way. He divorced his wife, and may or may not have been castrated.
wolf has given broad powers to the make believe broad.
And yesterday, regular programming was interrupted by Levine, who droned on for almost an hour. He/she/it told everyone to stay home and wash our hands.
I was embarrassed for the wretched creature. He/she/it is gloriously clueless about his/her/it's looks.
And I grieve for those two children.

How about all democrat governors who are unwilling to let go of the power they unconstitutionally grabbed? Also goes for the NeverTrump governors like DeWhine too. Their power only lasts as long as the crisis, and the crisis is for the most part GONE. NY/CA/NJ are still having problems, but the rest of us are not. This has become political, and they know it.

Half Whitmer has shown her totalitarian fist way too many times, and I think she is now seen in a bad light by many in her state. But, it is difficult to know how many folks want this kind of totalitarian leftist government to "protect them" from things like boating and going to church.

I nominate Tim Walz of MN. He just cancelled Mother's Day, effectively. There are almost no cases outside of the twin cities are here in MN. As usual, the bad stuff happens in liberal cesspools. He is needlessly destroying our economy and enjoying it.

#15, I have to agree on Kelly. But fortunately for Kansas, Kelly seems to be so stupid and insipid as to not have too much totalitarian nature on her own.
My county is opening up next Monday. It is a shame that 95% of the state of Kansas was ever on stay at home at all. Huge numbers of counties had 1 or 2 case, zero deaths. They should have been left alone.
In western KS only the big meat packing plant's illegal alien populations were infected. But even there, in four big meat packing plants, only 7 deaths total have occurred in those four counties combined.
Kelly is less than worthless.
Kobach for Senator!

You're right, 26. Walz lost 67 of Minnesota's 87 counties and still won....thanks to the Twin Cities, Duluth, Rochester, and Mankato. He's a big city governor and surrounds himself with liberals, waiting for them to decide his course of action.

We might as well go all in and add that Dim governor of a predominately Republican state, Louisiana, the dis-honorable John Bel Edwards, who just extended the lockdown to the middle of June. Given his record so far, about a week before the lock-down is lifted, he'll extend it again, if it's OK with Nasty Nancy.
