Democratic Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema definitely got everyone’s attention Monday when pictures started surfacing of her rocking purple hair during the pandemic.
The senator showed up on the senate floor with shiny purple hair and a bright green sleeveless dress while donning a face mask.
She didn’t explain much about the change of look from her platinum blond locks, to the new vibrant hair color. But she did take a second out to point straight at it while on camera. (

With so many people tattooing themselves like circus freaks, I find I'm a lot more tolerant of what people do with their hair. After all, that's temporary.

I'm no expert, but that looks like a wig.

So the hair salons in Arizona are now open?
Maybe she got a job with Sesame Street.

The Senate floor? I don't think that this is funny, cute, clever, or fashionable. With men wearing tailored suits, the women look silly and unprofessional in some of the get-ups they wear, and with some of their stringy hair-dos. Look at a line of men and women together walking as professionals-----women who don't dress with the dignity equal to a man's tailored suit are selling themselves short. Tailored dresses can be striking; it doesn't have to be a suit per se. When I was acting in my professional capacity, I saw to it that I was as professionally dressed as the men, and that my hair was well groomed. What does this woman want people to think about her------that she is a shallow twit?

If that freak show congresswoman from Minnesota can show up with that diaper on her head, anything is allowed.

I like it. But then, back in the 80s I wore more makeup and used more Aqua-net than my wife at the time. Tools of the trade.

#2, agree. It does look like a wig.
My Mom was a beautiful blonde. I decided to try a blonde wig one day. When I stepped into the music room, our Great Dane roared and looked about to pounce (he was protection trained). I spoke to him and backed out of the room, closing the door. My first and last time wearing a wig.
Behaving clownishly on the Floor, not really smart. Security ought to employ a nice, big Great Dane...

She wants attention. People should carry on around her like nothing's changed. Ignore her. She'll either go back to "normal" or veer further left. Bottom line: studiously ignore her. Don't satisfy her attention craving.

Never trust a woman whose hair is the same color as a Kool-Aid package.

She may be one of the more sane dems. She's been ostracized by the rabid left for siding with Trump on some issues instead of towing the party line. So. personally, I don't care what color her hair is. I think she's kind of hot. :)

Wasn't purple hair a 'rah-rah I'm with you' thing last week for the women's soccer equal pay spat? All the koolaid hair colors make them look like my old Troll dolls. Too bad these trolls can speak.

Maybe she's expressing her sisterhood with that Soccer chick Megan Rapinoe, who's equal-pay lawsuit was just thrown out by the judge. Didn't Not A Doctor Jill Biden do the same thing last week?

I agree that this is likely a wig because of the bangs. The whole look is a bit Mutton Dressed as Lamb, not age-appropriate, or place appropriate in my opinion.

Bet it is a wig covering up a few inches of dark or gray roots because she has not been able to get her hair done.

Since being censured by the state Democrat party, she's been a good little toady, even voting to convict Trump. She is worthless.

I know several women with inch long gray roots right now, who would gladly wear that wig if they had one.

#2 Definitely a wig. Since she can't g to a salon, she probably decided to cover her hair with a wig.

Did they take "professional attire" out of the dictionary ? If you don't look like a professional, then I can't treat you like one. Keep in mind these nut jobs make laws.

Looks like we’ll be wearing face masks for a long time.
It might be a good time to make the mask send an important message.
Wearing a baseball cap with a message can tell lots about a person and their history.
Let’s color code our face mask with a code..
Green mask could indicate a person has been tested and results were negative.
White mask could indicate no tests have been made on this person.
Red mask could indicate tests have been made and results were positive.
This might give us a way to relax social distancing and other restrictions.

Changing hair color frequently, is just one of those things that many women like to do. Some guys too, but mostly it's a girl thing when speaking of adults. I guess it makes them feel like a New Woman!

She's going after the hip youth vote. They've been so dumbed down by public education propaganda that it might work.
