At last comes a measure of reassurance about the effects of the global pandemic: A woman who has fully recovered from coronavirus is a living, breathing beacon of hope.
Elizabeth Schneider, 37, had a relatively mild experience with the sometimes-deadly virus, for which she treated herself at her home in Seattle, Washington. So far, the Northwestern state has suffered the highest number of deaths — at least 30 — in the US from the disease.
Schneider, who has a doctorate in bioengineering, told the Agence France-Press she was sharing her story “to give people a little bit of hope.” Her story is more common than one might think:

We need more reassuring testimonies such as this. The Communist China Corona Virus (CCCV) is similar to the flu or common cold. We shall overcome.

We need more good recovery stories to quash the on hair on fire, we are all doomed msm nonsense. 80% who get it don't suffer as much as they would with the flu and recover completely.

This proves what real doctors have been saying all along. if you are young and have a good immune system, this won't be fun by you have over a 99% chance of surviving.
Almost every death in Washington state has been an elderly person with a compromised immune system -- many of them in the same nursing home. But you have to really dig to find that in the MSM!!!
We need to take any virus outbreak seriously, including flu and Coronavirus. But the panic has got to stop before it destroys a lot more lives by destroying their livelihoods -- which will still be hurting people long after the virus has run it's course!!!!!

Something like 97-98% survive. This article makes it sound like a miracle this woman did.

Stay the course, folks! When this thing finally crashes and burns ... and it WILL ... the sensible articles and numbers will come out and Americans will see all the more how the Dems and the MSM ( same, same) have duped them, cost them money and jobs and lifestyle ... and they are gonna be mad as hell! And they should be!

Yes. We need more information about this virus. I'm still not sure why I need to be afraid of IT. I am certainly afraid of cancelling everything. That's not going to be good. A lot of jobs are going to be lost, a lot of businesses will go under. All we'll be left with is toilet paper.

Like all media driven narratives, this one is short on facts. I have heard the survival rate is about 99%.
Are they dying at a higher rate in China? Despite the left's insistence that govt run health care is great, I doubt few sane people would argue that our health care and sanitation is far better than it is in China. I would be confident that the survival rate for anything would be higher here, so since so many cases are in China their mortality rate would skew the total higher than it should be.

Here is an interesting story. My friend bought some Clorox wipes 6 months ago and one of the infections listed that they are effective on is ‘human Coronavirus’. This isn’t new. This is a media hyped panic that has become an opportunity for the Democrats to use to tank the economy. It is unfortunate that Trump is somewhat forced to play along. Americans are easily manipulated.

A living, breathing beacon of hope? Really? And just when I was going to start to run in circles, scream and shout over someone having what I had a year ago. I'm gonna hug a roll of toilet paper to celebrate.

Great story and helps to understand the illness a little bit better. Now then - can the country please get its head out of the sand and get back to making America great. The msm, sports teams, and leftist local governments can take a hike while the rest of us will do just fine. And at our household no time is being wasted hoarding toilet paper.

Chinese factories in the Wuhan area are going back to work - more importantly the 2 Japanese car factories are going back to work. Even if the employees are Chinese, there is no people on earth more germaphobic than the Japanese.

The MSM keeps hyping the numbers of cases, trying to make it sound like a pandemic, which it is not, but this is the first helpful story I've seen, what to look for in the details of the symptoms. The Mrs and I are going to do what we have been doing before this bug hit, sit out here in the woods watching the birds and squirrels while we cook on the grill and hike the trails. I don't pay attention to the NBA or the NFL so if they go under it will probably improve the country.

In addition to good information, the article has some good links to follow. I liked knowing that a professional in the biotechnology field was too smart to go all wobbly at the news of covid-19.

So, how many people have already had it, thought they had a cold, recovered and never knew they had it? This is nothing more than an attempt at crashing the economy to get Trump. Don’t fall for it but do wash your hands.

Which is why it is good that Tom Hanks and Justin Trudeau's wife have it. Both will recover, as will 97.2 percent of everyone else.

She had tested positive for COVID-19. Surprisingly, Schneider felt relieved. “I was a little bit pleasantly surprised, because I thought it was a little bit cool,”
I actually like this comment. It says a lot about the fact that even people who are suffering with the virus see it as more of a curiosity than a real threat. And look! Someone wrote an article about her! She got her picture in the paper and everything! I kind of like this woman.
I pondered this because I just finished reading about people with kidney problems in another thread on L.Com. My neighbor has had one kidney transplant and is on the list for a second. My neighbor suffers. Covid-19 is cool, because you recover.

Just as a heads up after seeing a tweet yesterday I learned something about the possible origin of COVID-19 in Italy I had not heard from the msm... I wonder why... not.
Did you know there is a huge Chinese population in Northern Italy brought in as cheap labor is clothing and leather goods factories which the Chinese have now bought up? And they are from the same region as the original cases of this virus. They have direct flights to China and the Chinese mob has been heavily involved in this region and community for decades.

Start spreading these stories a bit more far and wide, and this will help the media calm down. Even Tom Hanks said that he and his wife got it and it was not that bad. The media is attacking this nation and our president and exploiting this virus for their own ends. It is revolting, and I have been hearing tales about how angry people are getting at the media for overblowing this virus all out of proportion.
