I found myself thinking over the weekend that with Joe Biden now favored to win the nomination, it won’t be long before the press starts the quadrennial veepstakes ritual.
And yesterday—boom!—it arrived in spades.
The coronavirus may be spreading worldwide, Wall Street may be having a bloodbath, and Biden has yet to beat Bernie Sanders in Michigan and other key states. But nothing stops the VP speculation. There’s an added twist this year, which is the widespread expectation—and, in some quarters, demand—that the Democratic running mate will be a woman.

This is typical. Democrats don't really stand for much and when you read or hear about Joe Biden, the only thing he stands for is his pocketbook. Democrats use identity politics because there really is no substance and the selection of VP runs along the same lines. They have to use identity politics to sell the candidate. . .

Biden or any Democrat needs white males to win. The gender gap isn't about women but about the white males that have abandon the Dem party. Picking a women just because of her genitalia isn't going to capture men votes.

Don't let Joe choose. She will either be under 12 or AOC.

#6, Thankfully AOC is too young. Though the left never let the Constitution stop them from doing something illegal.

"In the end, running mates don’t matter all that much. Donald Trump didn’t win because of Mike Pence, Hillary Clinton didn’t lose because of Tim Kaine, and Barack Obama didn’t win because of Biden. But given Biden’s age and the Democratic hunger for a woman on the ticket, whoever gets the nod might matter more this year than in the recent past."
Whoever gets the not this year from Biden matters a lot! It is not likely Biden (if elected) would be able to finish one term let alone two so, that makes it likely his VP would become president and there are some pretty scary names on that list.
I expect Trump to win but, crazier things have happened.

Maybe he can have more than one and fill all the quotas.
Yeah I know, the Constitution only mentions one veep. But when has adhering to the Constitution ever been a concern for leftists?

Regardless if Plugs or Gramps wins the dim nomination either one of them may pick a tranny as a demonstration of "diversity". Which governors, house reps, or US senators would fit?

Agree with #8. A Crazy Joe win would mean the most stressful job in the world is on the shoulders of someone bumping up against the life expectancy tables. Lots of people live well into their 80s and 90s anymore, but they are retired.

As Rush Limbaugh often says, the demonrat socialists are all about "SYMBOLISM OVER SUBSTANCE".
Here is a perfect opportunity to select a woman and a minority and someone who really would never have a chance on their own--
Any black lesbian women out there to cover all thee bases?
Their only prayer is that they can SOMEHOW finally get the constnat 24/7 drone of the media to bring down the President.
ANY made up "crisis" will do--

Who they pick for VP will be investigated much, much more intensely than Gov Sarah Palin. None of these pols can withstand the onslaught. None are qualified.

Oh come on we all know the plan is that Hillary is the one. Then Biden is removed one way or the other so she gets what she has been so unfairly denied.

All the women they have currently are loathsome and the DNC knows it. But the chatter is right. This is going to be one of the few VP candidates that will actually matter. Because if Biden ever won, I doubt he makes it through even his first year, and that candidate for VP will be the real candidate for president. Even by the back door.

The only VP pick that made a difference to me was Sarah Palin. It made the nauseous feeling I had voting for McNasty somewhat better.

It doesn't matter who the Democrats nominate for President and Vice President.
They have to show they can GOVERN. The Democrats have failed miserably on that. Trump isn't like BushII, McCain, or Romney who all conveniently rolled over for the Democrats. The Democrats tried to impeach Trump, and that failed as well. Now the Democrats are resorting to scare tactics like the coronavirus and the stock market. That will fail as well when people recognize the scare tactics do not coincide with reality.
2020 is going to be a very long year for Democrats, and they deserve it. They pandered to every radical cause out there, and they have taken over the party. The Democratic party is so far out in left field they are no longer in the same ballpark. The Democratic party has lost touch with reality, and it shows.

The most likely reason the Rats want Biden as their presidential candidate is to use him as a Trojan Horse to get one of their miserable people appointed as his vice presidential nominee. If they can generate enough voter fraud to get him elected, then he will early on retire due to health issues or they will use the constitution to remove him. That opens the door for a second miserable person to fill the vice presidency chair.

I feel very bad for Mr. Biden. He's being used by the democrats. He certainly doesn't belong on the stage let alone in a debate. Why isn't his wife suggesting he take his leave?

Too many people hate Shillary today. Stacy is a loud mouth no nothing. Ho Harris will be mocked and doesn't stand a chance. Big Mike likes her millions and freedom. Who does that leave? AA racist Demings who would run over her mother to get the chance. Married, 27 years in law enforcement, not too much baggage.
Listen to her speech during the impeachment. More like her audition.
