Should Chuck Schumer be censured? Of course he should, in the sense that the rule of law, were it actually our cynosure, would cry out for it.(Snip)With Roe, the High Court decisively transformed itself into a political institution. The worst kind of political institution, in fact: One that pretends to be something quite different--an apolitical arbiter of what the law says, an oracle of justice shorn of passion. One that is politically unaccountable to the people whose lives it deeply affects--and affects not as a court deciding the private disputes of litigants, but as a ruler imposing national policy on a heretofore self-determining republic.

Schumer said thats just how they talk in Brooklyn, no big deal. In other Brooklyn news a 15 yr old girl was beaten up by a mob and robbed of her sneakers. Just another Brooklyn thing I guess.

Why a high ranking member of the Legislative branch of government thought it was OK to attack member of the Judicial branch of government is just totally mind boggling!!!
But Demon-Rats these days have no morals, or respect for anything but getting and keeping power. So I'm sure that Chuckie was totally blindsided by the reply to his pure evil statements!!!!! He was just attacking evil white male conservatives after all No big deal. Totally acceptable to lie-berals everywhere!!!

One article I can agree with McCarthy on totally. OP quotes one of the most important paragraphs because it right there in black and white embodies the strategy of the intolerant left. The predicate for this ruling really is the health and well being of the mother. Who in their right mind would want to sentence these women to less than standard medical care? However, you must not touch the holy grail of women’s “reproductive right#” lest their pagan idol, Moloch, be offended. If you dare, you will be viciously attacked even if you sit on the United States Supreme Court. I believe Schumer did this intentionally and with malice because the left is losing support for abortion. More young women are recognizing it for what it is, the murder of the unborn and the left just cannot have that. God help these Justices to rule correctly on this case. It is the law that we all should be afforded medical care with certain guidelines for the safety of the patient. To sentence these women to inferior care in order to make this heinous procedure more profitable or convenient is abhorrent. While I detest the murder of these innocent souls, making these abortuaries accountable to reasonable medical practices should be a no brainer. The left has been the cheerleader and protector of this awful Roe v. Wade decision and 60M babies have been murdered, feeling the pain of burning saline or dismemberment and worse and the proponents of genocide will never stop feeding more innocent lives to their evil god. This is the evil that we must fight against to protect the unborn. They deserve to live and did not ask to be conceived. God help us. Evil truly took hold in this country with Roe v. Wade and we are suffering greatly because of it. The left constructed a genocide apparatus far more evil and more profitable than Hitler had ever dreamed. Now they will do anything to protect it.
Schumer should resign. The outrage of the country should force him to, but far too many people, mostly women, will die supporting their so called right to government funded abortion. It is not enough to kill, the left insists that we all support their killing institutions. It was no accident that Schumer stirred up this controversy, they must get their mob ready to get to the polls to protect their right to murder unborn babies. He knew he would pay a small price for his words, but will take it on the chin to do the bidding of the baby killers. It is shameful that the Minority Leader will weather this and become an even more greater hero of the abortion industry. We know that murdering innocent and vulnerable among us and selling their body parts is a very lucrative game and one that the left loves playing.

Chuck Schumer really needs to step down. He gave every crazy a green light to go after the two justices and their families. There is no excuse for what he did.

If/when the Schemer censure vote gets to the Senate floor for a vote, it will be very telling to see who supports him and who doesn't. I must assume most of the Dims will carry his water but maybe those with a spine and a bit of decency will put him down. Let's see.

......'that's how they talk in Brooklyn.' Then Schumer and the left shouldn't have a problem with how Trump talks either.

If that is how they talk in Brooklyn, Schumer can keep it. I like how they talk in Queens better. After all the complaints about Trump and his rough talk, the democrats should be jumping all over Schumer right now. I notice that he only picked out Trump's two appointees too, not the rest of them.
That wasn't just stern talking Crybaby Chuck. That was unprofessional talk for a long term congress member who claims to know better. Next, are you going to threaten them with holding your own breath?

"A court is for telling us what the law is, as opposed to what the judges wish it were, or think it had better be if the mob is to be appeased."
Chuckie was standing outside the SCOTUS because he knows the corrupt reality of the court. He was there because he was rabble rousing. He also knows it is being slowly shifted away from what it has been by Trump and McConnell.
"Then you call in the mob. The Left does what Senator Schumer did on Wednesday because it works." because "The Court is a political institution.".
"there’s no reason you need to know that the case at issue is not actually about the enduring legality of abortion" because for the dems, every issue must be exploded into a crisis and the most vile accusations made because their purpose is to evoke the strongest emotions possible.
It is my fervent hope that after Trump is reelected and we gain a couple more Senate seats that Chuckie WILL be held accountable for his miserable behavior. The same for Schiffty and Nadless. I know it's probably wishful thinking but we really need to be fighting back against an enemy who observes NO rules.

As Andrew McCarthy points out in the article, mobs can move political entities and it was a mob in front of the courthouse because the Court has become “innately political.” Senator Schumer was “simply conducting politics the way the Left does politics...what Alinksyites call ‘direct action.’” When the law doesn’t go the way the Left wants it to go, they “claim the system is rigged, corrupt, racist, and so on. Then you call in the mob.”
