WASHINGTON — Richard Grenell’s tenure as the nation’s top intelligence official may be short-lived, but he wasted no time this week starting to shape his team of advisers, ousting his office’s No. 2 official — a longtime intelligence officer — and bringing in an expert on Trump conspiracy theories to help lead the agency, according to officials.
Mr. Grenell has also requested the intelligence behind the classified briefing last week before the House Intelligence Committee where officials told lawmakers that Russia was interfering in November’s presidential election

Prompting fears that the partisanship of the former administration will be removed. There, fixed that

From the article describing the Nunes memo: "The memo was widely criticized as misleading, though an inspector general later found other problems with aspects of the surveillance."
The Slimes can't admit that Nunes was right.

The bias just pours out of the Slimes and they are the only ones who either do not see it or believe that the rest of us can't. The CIA and NSA have been breaking laws for decades - because they can.

Trump likes to bring in temps to do the necessary firing before installing the new boss.
It makes for better agency morale.

You NY Slimes!
It's already partisan and has been for decades! Finally, We the People have a chance to overhaul it and change things! If the Law is no longer a tool for your corrupt toadies, then maybe Justice, as envisioned can finally have a chance!

He should take that Intelligence office down to about ten! Then begin to staff it with people who won't try to stab Trump in the Back. If there is a Leak, lock down and find out who did it and prosecute them. I think Trump knows what he's doing, it's called cleaning house!

Whatever the democrats are doing, that is the right things to do, according the the democrat Times. NPR is the same, only with phony sophisticated voices. CNN and MSNBC are the get down-and-dirty democrats. All very entertaining! Trump and republicans always terribly wrong.

Intelligence gathering is much like shoveling smoke.
you people should think about the unknown millions of dollars we pay to fat old professors, sitting in british pubs, manufacturing intelligence to keep the U.S. dollars flowing to them.
then think about the little things our intelligence agencies missed - the fall of the Soviet Union, the 1993 bombing of the WTC, 9/11/01 attacks, and many more.
add in the FBI flubs, giving passes to the Boston marathon bomber twins, even after the Russian government warned us, san Bernardino, memphis recruiting station, Orlando homosexual night club, and we should be wondering about such incompetence.

Of course it’s ‘partisan’. It’s meant to be. The NSC is full of liars and leakers and they have been undermining the President since before he was elected. Trump’s mistake was not doing it sooner.

The NYT never gets it. When the Dems do it, we never hear cries of “partisanship”. These crows sit on a wire just waiting for another Republican to be appointed to an important position. They don’t understand that the chief executive runs the Executive Branch.
With the clowns lined up for the Dem 2020 nomination, it is clear the crows will have to wait another four years ...

#31, they pulled my security clearance the day I walked out the door into retirement.
It should be exactly the same for all Federal employees. Gone from the work force, security clearance CANCELLED, that day.

Partisanship, like tyranny, is only bad if the GOP does it. It is peachy keen if democrats do it. Where was the outrage when Obama was weaponizing all the agencies to act against American citizens?

Considering the hundreds or thousands of individuals who hold security clearances for the sensitive information shared with this agency, it's a wonder that there are not more leaks to the Slimes.

After what we've witnessed over the past three years with the partisan Obama loyalists at the FBI, DOJ and CIA fabricating evidence to oust a duly elected president, and giving Hillary a pass, the Times has the unmitigated gall to accuse Richard Grenell of being a partisan. My guess is at least one of the three so-called authors of this article attended Harvard and at least one of the three self-identifies as a "Bernie Bro".
