President Trump has now been acquitted, but Democrats hope his impeachment will disgrace him “for life” and tilt the 2020 election. Don’t bet on it. Sen. Lindsey Graham has a better idea. Graham is proposing post-impeachment investigations by the Senate to “get to the bottom” of the Democrats’ impeachment hoax. That will pin the disgrace where it belongs — on the party that dragged the nation through an unwarranted ordeal. Many Republican senators and Vice President Mike Pence are brushing aside the idea of investigations, saying they want to “move on.” Not so fast.

I think everyone already knows how this awful trial started. The answer is not more hearings, pontification, lies, witness', etc. The answer rests with us, the voters.
It is up to the American voters to punish the democrats by turning them OUT of office. They must be removed. They have shown that they are against the Constitution, the law, the rules of their own body, and basic fairness. We don't need a bunch of hate-filled usurpers occupying the seats intended for people who want to make America Great Again/Keep America Great!

How many times are the Republicans going to "move on" from these Democrat hoaxes. Moving on is the reason these hoaxes continue. We have had the Russian hoax, the Mueller hoax, the FISA Court hoax, the Kavanaugh hoax, the Ukraine hoax, climate hoax, green energy hoax, the socialism fraud, the medicare fraud, the Florida vote counting fraud, numerous stolen elections from newly discovered ballots--and still the Republicans want to move on.

We have the Senate, we have the presidency and what we need to do is get the House back in as big a majority as we can possibly manage. You don't hurt the left by
'investigating' them. You take away their power. Even if they are investigated and found guilty ,we already knew they were -didn't we?
We can fix this on November third. It's the only way to punish them.

As a good first step, I hope Mr. Ciaramella will be looking for employment, very, very soon. Then both Vindman brothers need to be shoveling snow in a Fairbanks military installation of some sort. Then a really careful review of ALL the security clearances of ALL the folks on the NSC needs to be run, and NOT by the worthless FBI.

I'm with Senator Graham. I want facts, I want people names and dates on what occurred. If this is not brought to the surface, it will happen again and again. I want it all exposed!!!! I want people indicted!!!! Then we can move on.

Until there are consequences for their actions, dishonest and/or evil people have no reason to desist from their behavior. Their conscious is already seared so it is very unlikely they will repent on their own.
So if the perpetrators of the various hoaxes walk away without consequences (even after leaving devastated lives in their wake), the perps WILL perpetrate again. It is seen all the time in violent criminal behavior. How many times have illegal aliens or other criminals been released after a crime in a sanctuary city only to go and commit new crimes? Why would anyone believe that simply "moving on" would not be seen by the perps as a pass to start up the new witch hunt?
It would be interesting to have the Senate subpoena the IG and ask him the same questions he was asked in the House as well as ask about the relationship/interactions between Schiff and the "whistleblower." In order to not be charged with purgery, he would have to provide the same answers (which would expose the conspirators). In order to protect Schiff and the conspirators, he would have to provide different answers (which would open him up to perjury charges). Be interesting to see which direction he would go.

Sadly, I fear that it is a waste of time to expect anything from the Senate unless Mitch rearranges some chairmanships. In any event, any criminal aspects of this nonsense needs to be investigated and followed through with prosecutions. Maybe Durham will produce, but it might require a special counsel, fraught with problems as that can be.

Agree with #2. We must not "move on" as has always been done, it emboldens the perps. This plot must be exposed. It would have toppled a weaker man, and our Republic would be that much further down the road to dissolution.
We're either a "nation of Laws," or a "nation of Men." The answer to that determines which road we're on in the first place.
Today's East Room event with the President was wonderful. Anyone who has been agonizing over these travails and praying for DJT, his family, Congressional Republicans and the legal team, AND our country, make sure you get to see this. You will cheer and laugh and even cry.
I also thank the REAL investigative journalists pursuing the truth, so many of which we have read here; Fox, despite the few dolts on the channel, most are fair in the truest sense, and the President has some solid support.
Trump must clean out all the BO holdovers . This is imperative and should have been done the minute the election was called.
However, the dems don't intend to stop. We need to be vocal and support our side.

A full, in your face, attempt to overthrow this administration really, really needs to be pressed on all fronts. I want everyone from Special Agents who think they can alter, destroy or make up evidence PROSECUTED along with corrupt politicians openly taking bribes from foreign sources. Reveal them, try them and imprison them ASAP. Start at the top with the dumbest bully, biden and work your way back to Hillary and soros and sons. GET them all or they will eventually get you and me.
Oh, also really dig into the media and again start with a big fish like George Stepinawfulness. 'Forgetting' to report $75,000 deserves a big time fine and LOTS of news coverage, but their collusion is widespread and should be blown open for the DNC propaganda it is.

Graham has been Judiciary Chairman since January 2019 and has done exactly n-o-t-h-i-n-g except pine for the cameras. He's his own reality tv star. He's not going to do anything now or ever.

I'm torn between stopping the circus and getting to campaigning or heating up the tar and feathers. But I think the POTUS should not let voters forget what the Commiecrats tried to do to all of us.
