If the last few weeks have been bad for Democrats, imagine the dyspepsia and insomnia of the NeverTrump brigade. These are the so-called elite conservatives, intellectuals, smarter than your average Republican rube, the voice of reason and wisdom for the conservative movement. (snip) Start with Bill Kristol, founder of the failed Weekly Standard and constant Trump critic, who after impeachment had his “coming out of the closet” moment, revealing what everyone has known for years, that he is really a Democrat.

How amazing is it that anyone who thinks they may lose their voice and influence is willing to turn our wonderful country over to the socialists? I guess people with enough hate in their hearts automatically have their heads in the sand. Just think what this nation could achieve under the current POTUS if all these timid little toads would stand behind DJT and help him fight the MSM.

“Can you imagine if Sekulow and Cipollone had to try a case in front of a real judge? Bhahaahhahahahaha”
I dare Jennifer to acquire a first year law school text book, to read page one and then to tell us what it says and what it means. And she needs to do it on video on Twitter with no one to assist her. Then let her tell us what idiots PDT’s lawyers and the Chief Justice of the SCOTUS are.

I find it interesting that all the elite Conservatives are going down in flames together. They are supposedly the thinkers. Instead they are acting as the dem rabble.
I get it that there were originally concerns about how Trump would govern but he was who the primary process delivered to us. This group advocated Hillary instead. I could understand a 3rd party candidate on principles, if they were well articulated. Advocating Hillary over ANY Republican was the first signs of group insanity.
Then Trump won and began to govern. Wow. I would get human nature with wounded egos being reluctant to admit error and being slow to give credit due. But Trump isn't just a good leader, he is a GREAT Conservative. It wasn't long before his impact was felt in general and especially in working for Conservative goals. In general, Trump has been masterful at Conservatism AND at goals Conservatives could applaud but also with wide appeal.
Instead, the NeverTrumpers, pretty much all of them, began to twist themselves in philosophical knots to attack Trump. They would abandon their principles to go after Trump. That showed a cult like mass movement to Get Trump, NO MATTER WHAT. This outcome is deeply disappointing and somewhat scary. I recently watched a snippet of "The Mummy" where the crowd is chanting "Imhotep, Imhotep, Imhotep" while they mindlessly pursue the good guys. It feels like that. Who knew these people were so irrational. They fall into crude mockeries which seem to be one of their primary complaints about Trump, his "crudeness". Unfortunately for them, they are bad at it and ineffective. They demean and beclown themselves like the larger media. And like the media, they can't seem to help themselves no matter how foolish they are. They have abandoned self inspection for crude and grasping goals. The media at large had a tarnished reputation to begin with. But NeverTrumpers had respect from many people. They have flushed that over and over. How far they have fallen can be measured in the reality that Trump is largely ignoring them, probably one of the worst insults he can give to these egoists.
I'm sure the NeverTrumpers will assert themselves during the election and may even have some limited effect on some who have turned to them in the past for insight. But most Trump supporters know them now. The dems have laughed in their faces. The NeverTrumpers have no home. They are wandering in the wilderness in well deserved, self imposed exile.

Wondering if Billary had another meltdown after the no witness vote last week. Joondeph's comment about AG Barr who is expected to wrap up his criminal investigation of Spygate by mid-year complete with a slew of indictments should cause Obie and his team to be shaking in their boots. Look for more of them to sing later this spring in desperation for shorter prison terms. McCabe and Comey already starting to.

Great article.
Whenever I run into a Never-Trumper...who says something idiotic like "Trump is a moron"...I ask them a few simple questions :
..."So, presumably as a non-moron, when did YOU make your first billion $$?"
...."And...how many hotels and golf courses and buildings did you say YOU have named after you?"
..."BTW...have you ever even been in the SAME ROOM as a supermodel...let alone get one to date and marry you? "
..." Explain to me HOW did a "moron" non-politician...running for office for the first time.. beat the biggest/most corrupt organization in the country ...backed by the equally corrupt media...and win the Presidency despite having spent only a fraction of what the dems spent?
"And finally....tell me, exactly, what have YOU EVER done that's 1/100 as impressive as anything Trump The Moron has done?"
...guess what...this shuts them up...and shows them what insignificant worms they really are.

fta: The NeverTrumpers all follow and retweet each other, creating an echo chamber, amplifying and reinforcing their Trump Derangement Syndrome. As Bush establishment Republicans, they would be delighted with the open borders and the endless wars of past Republican presidents. When confronted with a truly conservative presidential administration, they run like scalded dogs."
This is what I have noticed. They live in a little shell of hate. They have no clue what the lives of real Americans look like and how much better life is now. And they are jealous of the President's popularity.
I think that loathsome fat immature jealous slob George Conway is the poster child of this cabal. But then if I looked like the stay puff marshmallow man totally gone to seed with the testosterone of an 80 year old woman and had a pretty, thin, intelligent wife with a great personality whose boss was 10xs the man I am...nah.. I can't say it. Were I a man, I would never let myself go the way he has. Blech!! Put down the potato chips, get off the couch, and take some exercise for goodness sake!!

News Alert!
In order to gin up the NeverTrumpers - - Kristol has promised to have his original nose re-affixed to his face if Trump is removed from office.
This critical personal sacrifice will likely spur even more fervor among the NeverTrumpers. Watch out - - they're dangerous - - and getting dangerouser.

So when the author calls out "NeverTrumpers" here, is he also referring to Jonah?

I understand that most of these people do think they are conservatives yet. At least they say that they are, in order to cast out the Interloper. In short, they are cultists who thought they were in charge of the movement, and the movement is ignoring them.
Faced with this, a human can do one of three things: Deny, Convert, or declare Anathema. The smart ones converted, the extreme ones deny it, and the self-righteous ones, well....

Very sad for the Never Trumpers but it is expected. After all, there is a hint of elitism about these people. I like that Donald Trump wants to make America great again. How many times do we taxpayers have to hear "well, politicians lie" or put up with all of these cans being kicked down the road because nobody in the government wants to address the real problems.
About time for real change not the phony baloney change promised by Barack Obama and company.

Unfortunately over the years DC has operated in accordance with different piles of philosophies, both political and social in nature then the rest of the “real” USA. Allowing that to occur over past decades has been a cabal of Democrats in disguise who have infiltrated the Republicans in DC.
Some are politicians from mainly conservative areas of the country who could not get elected if they openly campaigned as Democrats, so instead they fraudulently campaign as Republicans, falsely claiming to be conservatives, when in reality they are covert Democrats who show their true colors as soon as they start getting invited to DC Democrat dinner parties. Others are supposed Republican operatives, among them extreme neocon warmongers like John Bolton, and media types like Bill Kristol, who are throughly indoctrinated into the DC “UniParty” style of government that has held sway in DC. Essentially they are now coming out of the woodwork as they hate “ the outsider” President Trump who was elected to drain that DC “”Swamp” and who in that respect, as far as has been politically possible, has been keeping his campaign promises.
Only the State Republican Parties can stop that by no longer nominating under the covers Democrats as future Republican Congressional Candidates. Without covert Democrats sitting in Congress as phony Republicans to hang onto, the bogus Republican operatives to survive will have to openly declare as Democrats as Kristol just did. As far as the fake and liberal media types are concerned they should be considered to be a lost cause.

These people are actually mentally deranged, it is clear. They are now vigorously supporting all the political positions which they spent decades claiming to oppose. Apparently their abandoning of all their principles is due to the inexplicable somehow invisible to the rest of us, "horribleness" of the man who has dramatically turned around the economy, negotiated dramatically better trade agreements, driven unemployment to the lowest levels in the memory of most people, and many more wonderful things.
But somehow, a man who has done most of the things that these "experts" have espoused for their entire lives, it so horrible, that they claim to now support all that they used to claim to despise.
They have lost their minds and are entirely irrational.

The Republican Party is now the party of America First. Globalist no more. Trump made America wealthy again in three short years. No Paris Climate Agreement for them. Energy dominance. Manufacturing. Mexico and China rebalanced. ISIS, Soleimani, Osama’s son and Caliph Ibrahim al-Baghdadi gone. Full employment. Are you better off than three years ago?

This is what the presidency of Donald Trump has shown everyone with half a brain:
1. “Democrats” are nothing of the sort. At best, they’re big-government Socialists; at worst, they’re Communists bent on the destruction of America.
2. A large number of “Republicans” in Washington are really Democrats.
3. The so-called “elites” in both of these groups are morons; worse than that, they’re corrupt morons.
America is like a large corporation that’s been losing money and providing bad products for 50 years. The stockholders (that’s us) appointed a new CEO to turn things around. The first thing the new CEO found was that half the employees quit working within a year of being hired; they still get paid and recieve regular raises, they just don’t do anything. The second thing to be revealed is that upper management (Congress) has been stealing from the company for 50 years, turning themselves into multimillionaires through graft, kickbacks and backroom deals; they also work only half the time, and take off to look for other jobs anytime they want.
The employees and upper management have a sweet gig going, and want it to continue. However, the stockholders want it stopped. Is it any wonder upper management and the employees hate the CEO?

Dr. Joondeph reminds us in this delicious read, about Bill Kristol trying to insinuate himself somewhere between John Kennedy in Berlin ('Ich Bin Ein Berliner') and Cyndi Lauper's ''True Colors'' lisp-sing. Jennifer Rubin must have hurt herself tripping so badly over her own tongue. Petards for sell cheap on Amazon.

The Never Trumpers are examples of what pure, irrational, naked hatred does to one's mind. Their embrace of Hillary shows how insane and devoid of any values they are.
