Nobody elected John Bolton to anything.
That reality is at the core of what appeared to frustrate Mr. Bolton and numerous other senior presidential aides during my time working in the West Wing for President Trump.
As a staffer, if you have a policy disagreement with the president, you have two options: You either subordinate your views to his and fulfill his wishes — or you quit. That does not mean you shy away from making your case behind closed doors — and in my experience the president encouraged dissenting views — but once the president makes a decision, it is your job to execute it

I never liked him because of his love for pointless war, but I never in a million years figured he would sell out to the communists. He really must have his hands in a lucrative deep state cookie jar.

We don't care what old bureaucrats and talking heads have to say. They are usually wrong about most things. Federal agencies should be reduced by 50%. - less cost, same average at best level of service. Listen to the people and save America.

I wonder if Greg Gutfeld will start impeachment proceedings to remove Bolton as the president of Red Eye?

Bombs Away Bolton dropped a full load on Trump with precision timing on his book deal. A well coordinated effort with Adumb Chucky Nasty and the Knee Jerk Slimes. He has joined the ranks of others i used to like and now i don’t. General Colon Powell, Peter Tasty, Susan Rice, the list could go on ad infinitum.

Another disappointed person here. I used to think Bolton was a patriot He was a pretty tough cookie at the UN, when Bush recess-appointed him. More recently he used to call a local radio show in Boston and sounded like a real fan of Trump. As soon as he got the Cabinet position, he no longer answered the host's calls.
He cleverly concealed his proclivity toward expediency. He's no patriot at all. It is troubling how many of this type seem to have been caught up in the orbit. And then we find they are, as OP puts it, vipers.

I used to think that Bolton was a good guy. But then again Max Boot seemed like a good guy years ago, too.
Boot is definitely deranged, and a snake. It is looking like Bolton in another one.
Trump is REALLY cleaning out the vipers, isn't he? This is great, so many former power players who were liars and snakes, being exposed. Disappointing, but really, REALLY good to unmask these folks and keep them permanently away from the levers of power.

Like a few others, favorites of the Fox News habitues, Bolton thought he was a rock star. Like the others, hubris caught up with him bigly. Suddenly ol' John ain't so popular...and the big audience for his book is about to turn its back. It'll be in the remainders box with Hillary's latest silliness.

Well Bolton had better sell a lot of books, because it is going to be very hard for Bolton to get appointed again to any position of responsibility and trust in DC by any Republican because of his disloyalty to the President, and the leaking of highly classified information to The NY Times from Bolton’s manuscript which Bolton may or may not have had a hand in, other than by some idiot like Romney.

I hope all those FOX panelists who insisted Bolton was still an honorable man (when those who really knew him did know better) are good and embarrassed.
