CNN debate moderator Abby Phillip asked Bernie Sanders in the Tuesday debate in Des Moines:
“CNN reported yesterday — and Senator Sanders, Senator Warren confirmed in a statement — that, in 2018, you told her you did not believe that a woman could win the election. Why did you say that?”
Not “did you say that,” but “why did you say that?”
Sanders denied it, then listed the many reasons the story makes no sense: He urged Warren herself to run in 2016, campaigned for a female candidate who won the popular vote by 3 million votes, and has been saying the opposite in public for decades.

I read the comments on that article and I repeat myself by saying, "It sure is dumb for members of a political party to attack each other! No matter which party it is, it gives ammunition to the other party."

Hey Matt, never heard you squawking about CNN bias when they did it to the President or Republicans. How does it feel, loser?

The media not only desperately want to get rid of Trump, they think they are entitled to choose his replacement. The voters cannot be trusted to do this themselves. Thankfully they don’t have that kind of influence anymore and the bridges have been burned. I wish someone could explain it to them so they would just shut up.

Which debate? Which year? Certainly Not News is not in the ratings basement for nothing.

FTA: After the debate, Trump fans online were in full schadenfreude mode, crowing about how “the left” finally understood that CNN really is fake news. Overall, #CNNisgarbage trended and #fuckCNN wasn’t far behind.
Well, perhaps, just perhaps, some of the lefties are starting to wake up. Or rather, "get woke" the proper way.

Their questions are interviews, not policy questions. The MSM have lost all credibility and no one watches these clown beauty contests anymore.

Most of us don’t choose real friends based on their political beliefs, but a democrat friend recently told me and really believed that if everyone had the basic intelligence of a conservative, civilization wouldn’t have advanced further than development of the wheel.

#10 I have "work" friends whom I know think just like that. They think I am some kind of strange anomaly. They like and respect me, but I know they think I am very misguided and wrong in being a conservative. Of course I stopped saying what I really think when 0bama was elected and they all worshiped the guy 24/7. BARF. For President Trump, I actually had to request that no political remarks be made during meetings. Which they have abided by, or if one slips, they quickly apologize to me right there. It is sad really, because I have to say, they are good people, but they are all in for the left.
This has been an ugly awakening for me, since I work in the SF area and with 90% left wingers. I really wish people just left their politics at home in general.

Did he actually say this? "Over a 24-hour period before, during, and after the debate, CNN bid farewell to what remained of its reputation as a nonpolitical actor via a remarkable stretch of factually dubious reporting, bent commentary, and heavy-handed messaging." CNN has NEVER had a reputation as a non political actor. The author sure isn't very bright.

Brian Stelter will have an extremely easy time finding examples of fake news for the documentary he's making. He won't have to leave his cubicle much less his building.

The source of this desperate attempt to set the story comes from Trump broadly neutering the media. Conservatives know them as fake news. A chunk of dems, for various reasons, also sees media as fake as well. The media hacks are seeing their value, their livelihood, and their careers leaking away. They can't get any traction against Trump but they still have influence with dems. However, like the dem party, media is fractured into different factions so they are fighting against each other. Some of the media know they are heading for disaster because of their squabbling but many are so arrogant and so angry they just don't care.

CNN didn't just suddenly wake up! It was defending a woman as POTUS, and in particular, Warren.
They've not seen the light - they're just kicking Sanders to the curb again.
