Slain Iranian general's

Secretary of Defense Mark Esper said Tuesday that before Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani was killed by a U.S. airstrike, attacks that Soleimani was planning against U.S. targets were only days away. "I think it's more fair to say days, for sure," Esper said when asked if Soleimani's purported attack plans — which the Trump administration says played a role in the decision to kill him — were expected to occur in days or weeks.

While I never doubted our CIC's decision to take out Salami, I did wonder what precipitated it at that time. Here it is. From CNBC no less.

I believe it was Condoleezza Rice who first pointed out that the Muslim world has been at war with the United States (and Israel) for many years, but that we have essentially ignored them. Obama not only kicked the can down the road, he made possible Iran's financing and expansion of their terrorism. (Bill Clinton did the same with North Korea). The way Democrat presidents seem to handle our national security, is to try and keep the peace while they are in office, while fomenting far worse problems for future presidents to deal with. And of course, when a Republican president faces the threat squarely and deals with it, Democrats scream that the president is a war monger. This is all truly dangerous irresponsibility on the part of Democrats, and the media lets them get away with it.

First of all and most importantly our friends in Israel have to be providing the best intelligence on Iran. Second, the left hates Israel and is responsible for the increase in attacks on Jews in the U.S. Therefore, Trump's support of Israel has festered the Trump Derangement Syndrome that is so evident since Trump took our Soleimani. There is more allegiance to Iran from Democrats than to America. Let's show them next November by voting out every Democrat we can. There are no good ones - if there were they would change party.

Not that I don't believe hat taking Soleimeini and his various 2nds out wasn't needed and overdue but if the attack was/is only days away, then the plan and logistics is pretty much in place. The hydra already has a new head, even if it turns out to be a figurehead. Why doesn't that mean we still need to worry about Iran continuing to carry out whatever plan of attack that was put together?

It used to be a thrill for conservatives to get “Drudged” – to have their piece linked on the Drudge Report. It meant traffic (which translated into money) and that a large audience would see it. By now, everyone recognizes Dr. Anthony Fauci. The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is one of the most cited immunology researchers of all time and unquestionably one of the most acclaimed.[snip] However, our elected representatives, the public and the media misunderstand his focused role and even his expertise as a scientist. Basic science underlying a viral pandemic is absolutely critical. But now is the time for the design of sound public policy — and that involves a far broader formulation than a single-minded focus on stopping COVID-19 at all costs.

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
