By now, everyone recognizes Dr. Anthony Fauci. The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is one of the most cited immunology researchers of all time and unquestionably one of the most acclaimed.[snip] However, our elected representatives, the public and the media misunderstand his focused role and even his expertise as a scientist. Basic science underlying a viral pandemic is absolutely critical. But now is the time for the design of sound public policy — and that involves a far broader formulation than a single-minded focus on stopping COVID-19 at all costs.

Dr. Fauci has proven, beyond any doubt, that he is everything we have come to expect from years of goobernment employment.

The numbers that people need to start hearing from Dr. Fauci, or someone on the President's panel are the following:
How many are hospitalized, and of that number how many are in the ICU.
And, they need to point out that the agencies are not reporting recovered numbers very well either.
Think about it, Los Angeles does not report ANY recovered numbers, just new cases and deaths.
We need better data, clean data should be the mantra.

Can somebody tell me one thing -- ANYTHING -- that Fauci has been right about during this whole pandemic?

The "experts" are pushing Remdesivir for one reason and one reason only. President Trump called Hydroxychloroquine a game changer. Therefore, it cannot be allowed to successfully cure people.
That and the fact the Bill Gates is invested in Remdesivir.

Fauci graduated from med school in 1966 and started working for the government in a lab in 1968. He has been in the exact same.position since 1984. Talk about a life long bureaucrat.
Other than some time in med school and Fauci's residency, he hasn't been a hands on, front line doctor ever. He is a pencil pushing, government teet sucking bureaucrat that has been wrong far more than he has been right, wrong about HIV and now wrong about Covid-19.
How many lives and how much more treasure needs to be sacrificed on the altar of Fauci's overinflated ego?

We need to reopen everything 100%. We are still in lockdown with 25% openings, mask and distancing requirements. Business cannot operate on 25% revenue. Neither can all the governments. No government employee has lost their jobs, or any of their pay, and that is part of the problem. The hospitals continue in de facto lockdown, access limited, masks required, few patients. The doctors and nurses have no work. Why? All the cases are at nursing homes and other close quarter environments with vulnerable populations. Why is the rest of the world in lockdown? How many cases have we had at sporting events, bars, gyms, or hair salons? None.

I have seriously come to believe that Fauci is agenda driven and COVID is no longer a health issue but is instead political.

These days, I give Dr. Fauci as much credibility on Covid-19 as I do Greta Thunberg on climate change.
