It is hard to understand Iran Supreme Leader Khamenei’s blunder in attacking the US Embassy in Baghdad. He either believed Trump was weakened by his impeachment, as western liberal Media breathlessly and continuously reported, or he might have been misled by John Kerry’s incompetent advice (apparently Kerry met again with Khamenei’s emissaries in Paris just few weeks ago). Whatever the reasons, his goal of triggering a limited war with America to rally his people around the regime has failed miserably.
Iran desperately wanted a war -- drone attacks on Saudi Arabia’s heart of oil production, false-flag hits on oil tankers, unrest in Yemen – all aimed at this goal.

The problem here, once again, is Islam - it’s a death cult that is incompatible with western civilization. Sooner or later the temperature of Teheran and it’s surroundings will have to be elevated to 11,000 degrees Fahrenheit and converted into a glass parking lot - probably right after we lose Washington DC or New York City.

John Kerry's ties to Iran go way back. His daughter is married to an Iranian and the best man at her wedding was an Iranian. Kerry was the main one who sent $i50 billion in cash to the Iranians to bribe them. It didn't work. Beam me up.

The Iranian leaders had worked with BO who was sympathetic to them and easily bamboozled. Trump strongly dislikes war and foreign entanglements but he is educated in the use of our military, the strongest on the planet, to strike surgically when needed. He also clearly understands the psychology of respect for and fear of an opponent. Thanks to BO's feebleness, Iran had the impression, correct for the time, of an opponent that need not be feared. BO was more interested in a personal/political win than the good of the country. With BO's people, like Kerry, whispering in their ears, they thought Trump too politically threatened to take strong action. As with everything he does, THAT is when Trump is most dangerous. Trump's opponents mistakenly think him endangered and that is when he is most bold and effective with his counter attacks.
Iran was already caught in a crippling economic vise, continuing to tighten. Now, Trump has put them in a military vise as well. Either one would have eventually destroyed them. Both together ...
Trump has correctly realized that stopping Iran is THE linchpin to reducing tensions in the Middle East. THEY are the ones supporting most of the worst terrorist organizations. The effectiveness of these organizations would be greatly reduced without Iran's support. Yes, their threat of getting a nuclear weapon is real but the overall terrorism they have sown is perhaps a greater and more current problem.

Kerry could possibly be partly responsibly foe Soleimani’s extinction by giving false info/hope to the mullahs. If so, thanks, John.

Kerry is always looking to be the hero even to our enemies foreign and domestic. He just can’t stop himself. He is to the core the manipulative fool who thought he could bolster his reputation by some minor wounds he received in Vietnam that were so minute that they could be treated by a band-aid so he could claim he received a Purple Heart. Then he wormed his way into to spotlight during his pathetic testimony before Congress after his “service” in Vietnam. He has always been an opportunist and will be one until the days he dies. A man like John F. Kerry should be ashamed but guys that never are. They are arrogant, pompous popinjays living off someone else’s money because work is beneath him. However, treason is not as evidenced by his back door dealings with our enemies.

It takes more than good hair to be a leader, as Kerry has proven over and over and over. Politicians with family ties to the enemy should be removed immediately as soon as they show partiality to that enemy and work against American interests. Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Jon Kerry, Anthony Weiner, Omar, Tlaib, The Bushies, all of them. If you can't show complete loyalty to Americans you do not belong in office. Then there's Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who is too ugly to get a date with any American, who sold us out to Pakistan. I'm sure her name is on that long list of people who should be investigated but will not because of the "D."
#1 is correct. Islam and the Western World have always been natural enemies ever since mohammed enjoyed his first goat, like the Mongoose and the Cobra, and no amount of appeasement, bribery or capitulation will change that. Like Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort, one must die so the other may live.

Do not forget that Iran's brand of Shiite insanity calls for total war against infidels, which in turn will bring forth worldwide chaos, and the 12th imam, who as a 5 year old, fell into a well and died. (I think I stated that correctly, but in trying to decipher the actions of filthy islamofascist terrorist pigs, I claim no special skill.)
If I am correct, the Iranian mullahs should be happier than a pig in mud, with this mini-chaos.
And if Jimmy Carter had manned up in 1979, the middle east mess would have been avoided, including the Iranian insanity.

Any former administration staffer/cabinet member meeting and undermining the current administration with Iran should be prosecuted under the Logan Act. President Trump made it clear that you do NOT attack our embassies. Gen. Soleimani organized the attack on our embassy in Iraq and paid the price. Yes, this man was designated a terrorist by the Obama administration and was still welcome into the White House under the that administration. The person with strong ties to Iran is Valerie Jarrett. Nothing would surprise me with her. She is evil and hates the U.S. as well as Israel and she is extremely dangerous.

1979, Iran attacks an embassy of ours and holds staff and ambassadors as hostages... Big win for them.
2012 They try to catch another hostage at Benghazi but, over eager minions kill the hostage before anything can be done.
2016 Iran captures sailors and makes money off of it along with propaganda points.
2020 Iran attempts to capture another embassy a la 1979. Same goals and means as previously. Different president. Different ROE. Different response.
Be warned. With a Buttigeig or Warren in office, they'll try it again, probably succeed, and claim a few billion in cash after a suitable period of torture for our people. Unless they get taken down a few pegs.

Now the leadership is "on the battle line", and can't sit back and move about men and machines like so many pawns on a chess board.
The King and Queen and knights and bishops are all at risk today.
Think about it Iran. We won't only kill all those peasants you send, we may kill YOU.

Remember the Iranian leadership regime are not like the traditional enemies who have been faced in the past. Instead they are Islamic religious fanatics who only are only deterred by force. That is evident by all the deaths, of Americans, and other peoples most of them Muslims, that the Iranian regime has absolutely caused in the last forty years. To ensure that the conflict with The Iranian regime does not continue on indefinitely, obviously President Trump came to the conclusion that through kinetic action he had to change the dynamics of that situation. Now we are waiting for the Iranian’s response with Trump already laying his cards on the table.

We'll see who has/will miscalculate. This chain of events is far from over. I expect the Iranians will be more discreet, using clients and contractors to do their dirty work when it comes. Then the US can bomb Iraq or Afghanistan...again.

Why isn't private citizen Kerry being charged? The Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, enacted January 30, 1799) is a United States federal law that criminalizes negotiation by unauthorized American citizens with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States. ... Violation of the Logan Act is a felony.

Listening to the fool J. Effin Kerry is a big mistake.
FTA:"If the regime wants to avoid its demise, it must stop its nuclear program development, which never slowed despite gullible media informing us daily that they will break this or that limit unless Europe paid up, or bamboozled journalists telling the public about Iranian moderate or reformist Presidents.
Yep, exactly. I never believed that Iran changed ANYTHING that they were doing because of the "treaty" (which was never a treaty, never presented to the Senate, let alone passed). Iran has been moving ahead at normal pace the whole time, lying about it, and the idiot Euroweenies have been apparently buying it, as have the Enemedia.

Good point, #1. I was not alive when the first military use of atomic weapons was accomplished. I have long wondered if I will see the second military use in my lifetime. I think that Iran is making this more and more likely.
