One of the several downsides in watching too much football this past weekend was watching too many TV commercials. And although I had grown used to the “stupid white man” trope, now a staple of comic advertising, I was unprepared for AT&T’s impressively racist and sexist “Just OK is not OK” campaign. The larger message of the campaign is that “when it comes to wireless networks, just OK is not OK.” According to some dubious test, AT&T is allegedly “America’s best network.” To launch this concept, AT&T and its marketing geniuses at the Omnicom Group designed a series of scenarios in which an incompetent white professional or service worker offers

Unfortunately, it is not just AT&T.

Only remedy I use is let the game/show progress a half hour or so before tuning in. Then FF thru the ads.
My dvr even has Smart Remote or something like that that FF most ads. But you have to watch everything late. My friends sometimes call me with the scores to bust 'em.

So AT&T has decided to school us in political correctness, or something. We'll see about that.

It’s the same approach across the spectrum of ads. To present combinations of different color, sexual orientation, nationalities of people, etc, as the normal all American unit.
The white male cannot fight back or he will be labeled as racist and/or entitled.

I have posted something like this before ...
The proliferation of negro folk in commercials while not new has become ridiculous. There are virtually no commercials (that use actual humans) that do not make the protagonist a negro that is superior in one way or another to the folks of other races that may be in the same commercial. Commercials with mixed race actors show the black guy with a white supermodel or some such. And if there are no humans in the commercial, the voice-over is usually by a black person. Regular TV content is virtually unwatchable also.
Bottom line ... we see way, way more blacks on TV than real life where only 1 in 8 people is black here in the USA. In real life, unless I go to a sporting event or some other well-populated venue, I can go for days without seeing a black person. If I do see a mixed race couple, the white chick usually looks like she would place well in an Iowa hog judging contest.
I read somewhere that some Europeans think that the USA has a black majority due to the USA TV broadcasts over there. That is just sad.

In life according to most TV shows and commercials:
1. Almost all couples are mixed race with cute mixed race children
2. Every group of friends has at least one Black, Hispanic, Asian, and LGTBQ person. There can be groups of all Asians, Blacks, or Hispanics, but all
White groups are not permitted (if they are, they are a racist hate group)
3. There MUST always be a gay friend/family member or gay couple.
4. White men are ALWAYS portrayed as dumb! They must usually be taught a lesson or saved by a wise woman or minority.
5. Strong white, straight male role models are not allowed anymore. Only minority, female, or LGTBQ role models are permitted.

Am I a bad person? I think the "incompetent surgeon" commercial is pretty funny! It was one of my favorites during the college bowl games. Another is the Taco Bell "Instagram boyfriend" commercial.
(I'd expect the snowflakes to clutch their pearls when racist-and-sexist commercials come on the air. Not so much, my fellow conservatives. Let's lighten up and just roll our eyes!)

I'm fed up with the anti-male and especially anti-white male advertising. Enough already. If you can't produce a commercial without insulting the people who are responsible for creating the greatest country on earth, then find another job.

Nissan has one commercial with 3 different married couples, and they're all black males/ white females. That's why I DVR everything and fast forward through the commercials. No one can call me with the sports scores and ruin it for me, since I don't watch overpaid millionaire thugs play kids games!

I'm starting to think it may be okay to take every corporation's money away. It'd never happen because where else would commie demonrats get their campaign contributions from.

Not just AT&T. Most advertisers have given up on whites - men in particular. Call me crazy, but I stop giving my dollars to companies that don't want me as a customer. Hello Gillette! Harry's works fine.
