Two suspected Northern California porch pirates were found early Monday with 108 packages and envelopes in their car after the vehicle rolled over on the side of a highway while the pair were being pursued by police, authorities said. The Butte County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call around 1:50 a.m. reporting a man who was seen possibly taking items out of mailboxes in an area of Durham, a rural community about 80 miles north of Sacramento, the sheriff's office said Tuesday. A sergeant then "saw a vehicle traveling north [...] that looked similar to the description given of the vehicle involved in the mail theft,"

Westfield Police are ramping up patrols after two vandals destroyed Christmas decorations across a New Jersey neighborhood. The grinches were caught on surveillance camera, but have not yet been identified. (Video) “On home surveillance video two shadows are seen just across the street. The suspects struggle to pry the 8-foot reindeer out of the frozen ground. As it is lifted, you can see the lights flicker. Then it is tossed into the street and the lights go out with a whimper,” CBS News reports.

Two Democrat lawmakers from Virginia are calling for the state’s statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee to be removed from the US Capitol. Reps. Jennifer Wexton and A. Donald McEachin have asked that the state’s Democrat Governor Ralph Northam, who was photographed wearing blackface and got a free pass, make removing the statue a priority in 2020.“These statutes aimed to rewrite Lee’s reputation from that of a cruel slave owner and Confederate General to portraying him as a kind man and reluctant war hero

Mistakes by Bush 43 and Obama informed the Arabs and Israelis that the United States is unreliable. The invasion of Iraq followed by a catastrophic early withdrawal told them Americans go to war without accepting responsibility for its aftermath. Today we learn definitively that what we've suspected is the truth. Impeachment is being used in what I termed yesterday as a "cart before the horse" manner. In other words, impeachment is being used by the Dem House as the justification for demanding testimony and, most importantly, the Mueller grand jury records.(Snip) Basically, the House lawyers have filed a brief in the case in which they're attempting to compel the testimony of former WH Counsel Dan McGahn. The rationale that the Dem House presents is that, now that the House has impeached President Trump, they need McGahn's testimony to use as evidence in the impeachment trial!

The editor-in-chief of Christianity Today, Mark Galli, wrote an editorial calling for the impeachment of President Donald Trump. In my view, this editorial only serves to confirm one of the sadder realizations of my life: that religious conviction guarantees neither moral clarity nor common sense. The gist of the editorial -- and of most religious and conservative opposition to President Trump -- is that any good the president has done is dwarfed by his character defects. This is an amoral view that says more about Galli than it does about the president.

Actress Jameela Jamil is listing several arguments for abortion on social media. But, despite her efforts, she has yet to answer the central question the pro-life movement poses: When does life begin? In December, a Townhall.com column drew attention to an interview where Jamil and feminist activist Gloria Steinem declared that abortion is necessary for democracy. In the following weeks, The Good Place actress doubled-down on her comments by repeating common abortion talking points. They included: “My life *is* more important” than a “clump of cells,” the pro-life movement disregards mothers and their children after birth, and abortion will “help the earth a lot.”

Kwanzaa, celebrated exclusively by white liberals, is a fake holiday invented in 1966 by black radical/FBI stooge Ron Karenga -- aka Dr. Maulana Karenga, founder of United Slaves, the violent nationalist rival to the Black Panthers. Liberals have become so mesmerized by multicultural gibberish that they have forgotten the real history of Kwanzaa and Karenga's United Slaves. In what was ultimately a foolish gambit, during the madness of the '60s, the FBI encouraged the most extreme black nationalist organizations in order to discredit and split the left.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, the NFL’s likely 2019 MVP, is crediting his belief in Jesus for keeping him humble with all his success and riches. Jackson has a growing list of accolades to his football career. He is the youngest ever player to win the Heisman Trophy, the first to rush for 1,000 yards while also throwing for 30 touchdowns, and has the most rushing yards or a quarterback in NFL history. Last week, Jackson was asked how he keeps himself centered as a human being with all this success. “Lamar, you talk about blocking out the noise, you don’t listen to the good

One of the very many reasons I would never vote Left (Democrat) is because of the child-like view of the world embraced by those with this ideology. Children, or adults with childish notions, running the world are a recipe for disaster. Would any adult with his head even modestly screwed on really want to have a world run by the likes of this disturbed teenager, Greta — the leftist Time Magazine's person of the year? This is particularly true in the economic part of our world — a world that deeply impacts each of our lives, every day of the year. When ThinkProgress announced that it was going out of business, a few observers wondered aloud, “Why didn’t anybody buy it?” But why would they have, when we have CNN? As a child, I was aware of CNN in part because its introductory bumper featured the sinister voice of Darth Vader, and in part because it was both the prototype and the stereotype of the 24-hour news channel. CNN showed up in movies, either as itself or in parodies that imitated its role. It was on in the airports and the hospitals and the hotel lobbies, and in the waiting room at the dentist’s office. The demand for white supremacists vastly exceeds the supply, which is why we see absurdities like the controversy over military academy students supposedly flashing “white power” signs at the Army-Navy football game. Now, apparently, the age-old “OK” sign means you are a white nationalist, notwithstanding that there are pictures of pretty much everyone in public life giving the sign, like Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and nearly everyone else. Or maybe it only means white supremacy if you give the OK sign upside down. Who decreed this? Who knows?

Ever since the impeachment bandwagon got rolling in September, anything said in defense of President Trump is automatically dismissed by Democrats and their media allies as either (a) “Republican talking points,” (b) “Russian propaganda” or (c) a “conspiracy theory.” The self-evident purpose of this rhetoric is to delegitimize the president’s defenders as either dishonest partisans, agents of a foreign enemy, or purveyors of paranoid delusions. It is impermissible, by the rules of the game as played on CNN and in other “mainstream” media outlets, to ask whether such accusations are more properly directed at Democrats.
