An editorial on Thursday in Christianity Today, a magazine founded 53 years ago by no less an Evangelical icon than Billy Graham, brought into the American public eye something many may not have realized: not all Evangelicals love US President Donald Trump.
Many do, but not all. And one of those who does not is Mark Galli, the editor-in-chief of the small but prominent magazine. Galli set off a storm when – a day after the US House of Representatives voted to impeach Trump – he wrote an editorial supporting the move.

So what? Not all evangelicals love Jesus either.

Far more do, than don't. Evangelicals don't love democrats, being that democrats are baby killers, among the other odious characteristics of their ilk.

Galli is not a believer, in my opinion. Read his background. He is a pulpit political activist who is leading those who read, and follow him away from Jesus Christ.
Not all evangelicals like Trump. However, if they are believers, how can they not vote for Trump? There is no one in the past, currently, or in the near future who has done more to protect the believers, to include the Jews!
Back off, Calli. You are a fraud. Your credentials are similar to those of the Old Book pharisees.

The whole argument is specious and matters for nothing. Since I became aware of Donald Trump in the 1970s, there is nothing I have found personally "likable" about him. Having never even seen him in person, like most Americans, my perceptions of him were shaped by the media of the times, right up until he began serial tweeting, which gave a better window into his personality and demeanor. I support Trump politically because I'm a patriotic, conservative Christian and American and his policy preferences and priorities come nearer to matching mine than those of any other politician on the national stage. While I'm not a fan of his media persona, cultivated and morphed by him and the media over the past 40+ years, make no mistake, I would take up arms to defend him, as I have defended my country twice in the military and our people and laws in multiple levels of law enforcement, from local to federal. I certainly plan to vote for him, which has nothing to do with whether or not I view him as a "pal," much less a spiritual icon.

He's right. Only about 75% do. And 99% of conservative Christian evangelicals.

They might not "love" him, but they are sure going to vote for him in massive numbers over any Demon-Rat that runs against him!!!!!
When President Trump ran in 2016, I didn't really like him, and solely voted for him as the far lesser of the two evils. However, I really feared that he was going to be a massive RINO.
I was so happily surprised in most of the things he has done as president that I will actively support him in 2020!!!! My husband and I have already made donations to him, and will do so again before the election!!!
So "loving" him is not as important as making sure he is re-elected!!!!!
