WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump is blasting a prominent Christian magazine that published an editorial arguing that he should be removed from office. (Snip) Rev. Franklin Graham, who now leads the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and prayed at Trump’s inauguration, tweeted Friday morning that his late father would be “disappointed” in the magazine. Graham added that he “felt it necessary” following the editorial to share that his father, who died last year after counseling several past presidents, had voted for Trump. Christianity Today “represents what I would call the leftist elite within the evangelical community. They certainly don’t represent the Bible-believing segment of the evangelical community,”

Editor-in-Chief Mark Galli claimed “the facts...are unambiguous” that President Trump attempted to use his political power to coerce Ukraine’s President Zelensky to “discredit” his political rival, former VP Joe Biden; further, that in additional of being a violation of the Constitution, it is “profoundly immoral.” He further asserts that this is a matter of “loyalty to the Creator of the Ten Commandments.”
Indeed, “the facts...are unambiguous” in proving that President Trump did NOT request Ukrainian President Zelensky to “discredit” Joe Biden; President Trump sought help on behalf of the United States about possible corruption in Ukraine that might have a bearing on U. S. foreign aid being appropriated to Ukraine. That request is neither a violation of the Constitution nor profoundly immoral; it is the responsibility of a president of this country to uphold the integrity of the law of the land.
Mr.Galli further asserts that the call for President Trump’s removal is a matter of “loyalty to the Creator of the Ten Commandments.” Loyalty to our Creator includes obedience to all the teachings of Scripture which include, but are not limited to the Commandment “Thou shalt not bear false witness” and “Judge not, that you be not judged.”(Matthew 7:1-5)

I want to thank Mark Galli for having the moral courage to take a stand for ethics and moral standards. The President cannot follow the basic 10 Commandments. Is this behavior what evangelicals teach their children? Before policies comes moral and ethics. In the absence of basic tenants of morality, there can be no good policy decisions.

Shades of what happened to Fox News after Rupert and Roger left. Dittos to what has happened to the Drudge Report.
By leftist standards, several prophets and apostles should be "impeached and removed". But the Lord chooses unlikely persons to carry His message precisely because they are "credible" to those who most need to hear it. They also are used to demonstrate what He can do for even the "worst" among us. Grace - not works. "While we were yet sinners .." and all that.
But alas, they are leftists first and Christians after that.

Well, any Christian magazine complimented by the Associated Press by referring to it as “prominent” is likely not very Christlike. I don’t think any but the most moderate to backslidden believers ever pick up this magazine. The publication sprang from righteous roots but it is now just a tool of the anti-God left. Thank you Franklin Graham for refusing to be silent!

This morning NPR gave time to a full report on this, yet another scripted lefty/lib media attack against Pres. TRUMP and evangelical Christians, this time by interviewing the retiring editor, Mark Galli. Christianity Today has not been considered an authentic, ''evangelical,'' publication for decades but is portrayed as such by the media today for political purposes. The radical 60's & 70's lefty/libs who pledged to change America have included Christianity in their plans because Christian's have inspired the most integral part throught the entire history of this country. Galli seems to be taking a cheap smear attempt just before his retirement. Hopefully the next CT editor will not be political.

Poster #3 April Rains should withdraw that uninformed asinine comment.
I say READ THE TRANSCRIPT!
The "favor" Trump asked the Ukrainian President was to look into Ceowdsource and Ukrainian interference in the 2016 Election. I should they might have something to say, as they were trying to disclose the corruption to the DOJ, but were denied visas by the Obama holdover ambassador.
Later in the call he did ask about Biden, both senior and junior. After all, a video was circulating of how Joe Biden bragged that he was withholding $1B in aid to Ukraine unless they fired a specific prosecutor. Trump as chief of all US law enforcement had every right to question those circumstances that Biden referred to. After all, there is a US/Ukraine Treaty on Corruption.
If you followed the truth, you would know that Trump did absolutely nothing wrong. Schiff tried to frame Trump, but never expected that Trump had transcribed the meeting and that he would release those transcripts.
Galli is like Pelosi in trying to use religion to support their political agenda. Pelosi pretends to be religious Catholic even as she battles to permit abortion of babies on demand, right up to the moment of birth. Galli is no better, trying to use this magazine to support Trump's impeachment. I hope Trump sicks the IRS on this tax exempt organization

Christianity Today's subscriptions to their magazine has fallen down to 130,000. This article could reduce that number by a frightening percentage. I just wrote to them to express my displeasure with their editorial. If you feel led to do the same, here is the link: https://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/help/contactus.html

A new dawn is breaking. Even devout Evangelicals are rising up, speaking truth to the power of the left. Donald J. Trump is steeling the spines of today's patriots!

There is a "deep state" in the Church as well as in government so be aware of that. There is corruption in the Church. This editorial is not a surprise; after all some pastors are out there speakng blessings over Planned Parenthood!! Scripture states thst judgement will start in the Church and it may have already started.

The Ten Commandments were given to show that 'all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God' and are in need of a Savior. All means all and includes the magazine Editor-in-Chief Mark Galli, the poster who authored and uninformed post and will not be named, the current President, all past Presidents, all Democrats, all Republicans, all Europeans, all Americans, all Asians...in short everyone in history, except Jesus the Christ and Savior.
Let he, or she, who is without sin cast the first stone.

There are plenty of left-leaning churches and 'leaders' that use Christianity to espouse lefty causes....they use scripture as a cover. If you 'love thy neighbor' they use that to sell open borders and sanctuary cities. It's also used to promote and celebrate homosexuality ie: "You are not a 'real' Christian if you are against same-sex marriage, etc., etc. 130,000 subscribers? Prominent? I had never heard of this publication until today.

#7, not to worry . . . #3 is a newbie troll who made her debut this very day (along with fellow trolls 'docharrison' and 'theject' who posted above). They rarely get to stay in the salon long before they're found out.

One of the last bastions of thought against pervasive communistic mind control is our Christian faith. This would seem like a long term plan to destroy faith and morals via the guise of a perceived bona-fide source of information and commentary. Dr. Graham is understandably disturbed by this violation of his father's intention and kudos to our President for castigating the heretics in charge.

Stop all tax exemptions on churches. In todays politicized America just get rid of them. And jail Sharpton for tax evasion while we're at it.
