Virginia Dem mulls National Guard to
enforce upcoming gun laws, an idea
likely to end in violence

In case you missed it: Virginia has gone completely Democrat. The last election ushered in a partisan shift of the state government that has left the House of Delegates, the Senate and the governor’s office in Democrats’ power — a leftist hold on the commonwealth that hasn’t been seen for decades. Make way for the gun controls. Make way for the crackdowns. Make way for the violence? (Snip) Democrats in Virginia have already pre-filed bills to mandate universal background checks; to limit handgun purchases; to raise age limits on would-be firers; to redefine the term assault weapon and impose bans on buys of certain guns and magazines. And more.

Virginia was a major southern state during the Civil War on the Confederate side. Just where would they be with gun controls back then? Bueller?

Please excuse the second post. Then again, maybe I'm giving Governor KKK too much credit. He is a frontal lobe deficient. On a somewhat related topic, Planet Boulder, CO passed an ordinance last year that banned the possession and sale of "assault weapons." The ban also included semiauto handguns and shotguns. "Owners were given until the end of the year to choose one of two options: Get rid of their semiautomatics by moving them out of town, disabling them, or turning them over to police — or apply for a certificate with the Boulder Police Department, a process that includes a firearm inspection, background check and $20 fee." Compliance was very low in loony left Boulder. But I'm sure libs in Boulder felt really good about themselves because they did "something" about gun control.

A friend once asked me, "If they come to my house to get my guns, will you come and use your guns to stop them? Because, if you call me, I will come to your house with guns." The only way you stop this, really, is for the 2nd Amendment to kick in. I really hope that they really aren't stupid enough to try to confiscate American's arms. At some point, one has to make a stand and say that something is worth fighting and dying for. Did I say that I REALLY hope that tney don't do this?

Stalinist Democrats in Virginia are seriously underestimating the degree of noncompliance to oppressive gun laws. Even to bloodshed. As a Virginian I have never seen the high degree of anger among law abiding citizens. Thousands and thousands are supporting the symbolic designation of their counties as 2nd Amendment sanctuaries as the first step they can take to indicate their anger and the building support for a real resistance to Democrat tyranny and oppressive government. They all know the 2nd Amendment is to guarantee that citizens have the ability to put down oppressive government. And here it is. Watch what happens in Virginia!

The United States special envoy for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, urged Pyongyang on Monday to return offers of talks, dismissing leader Kim Jong Un's year-end deadline and stressing Washington's willingness to discuss "all issues of interest." Tension has been rising in recent weeks as Pyongyang has conducted a series of weapons tests and waged a war of words with US President Donald Trump, stoking fears of a return to the hostility that characterised the two countries relationship before diplomatic efforts began last year. Madrid - Marathon U.N. climate talks ended Sunday with a slim compromise that sparked widespread disappointment, after major polluters resisted calls for ramping up efforts to keep global warming at bay and negotiators postponed debate about rules for international carbon markets for another year. Organizers kept delegates from almost 200 nations in Madrid far beyond Friday’s scheduled close of the two-week talks. In the end, negotiators endorsed a general call for greater efforts to tackle climate change and several measures to help poor countries respond and adapt to its impacts. U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres said he was “disappointed” by the meeting’s outcome.
