Gov. Tim Walz notified the Trump administration Friday that the state will continue to welcome refugees, pointedly saying that the “inn is not full in Minnesota.” In a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Walz wrote that he rejects the intent of President Donald Trump’s recent executive order requiring state and local governments to independently approve the resettlement of refugees in their communities.(Snip) “Minnesota has a strong moral tradition of welcoming those who seek refuge,” Walz wrote. “Refugees strengthen our communities. Bringing new cultures and fresh perspectives, they contribute to the social fabric of our state.

Are they truly "refugees"? Some might call them opportunists. Infiltrators. I doubt that Minnesota needs more 7th century culture in their midst.

NO MORE "refugees". Literally not one more.
Just stop it. Importing anti-American third world folks is destroying this country, and the Dems are just gleeful in their destruction.

Make Minnesota pay the full bill for their food and housing. In other words, break the bank.

The reference Walz uses is when Mary and Joseph came, paid taxes, then left for Egypt. Anyone who wants to do that is OK in my book.

I am saddened and embarrassed regarding my home state of Minnesota. All my, now mostly deceased, were very hard working people. I know many were Republicans, perhaps all of them were. I can't imagine them welcome an influx of probable terrorists. That governor sounds like a real nutcase.

And if Mary and Joseph happen to arrive in Minnesota, the governor and good citizens will be happy to help Mary to get rid of the baby should she change her mind about having it, because they are good people.

Don't you love it when self important azz hats like this governor purports to speak for all citizens of his state? Did the citizens even get to vote whether they want more people like Ilhan Omar or not?

Do you see how leftist governors boldly resist just laws they think are unjust, Republicans? Obama was illegal as heck in most of his actions; how many Republican governors defied his illegal laws? Minnesota, you get what you vote for. I live in a state that hangs on to Lindsey Graham, so I can somewhat empathize. However, as much as I hate to say it, I'll take Lindsey any day over leftist, worthless pukes.

Looks like Walz needs more pool boys. Not that there's anything wrong with that, if you know what I mean.

I'm guessing none of those refugees are moving into Gov. Walz's fancy gated community -- full of his limousine lie-beral buddies!!!!!

Several years ago, Minnesota was voted best place to live and retire. No more! I'll only stop there for layovers to get to other destinations if I have to. And will not spend a penny at the airport, but will take a dump to leave bad things behind.

Bad gov don't make Federal laws or get to tear up the Constitution when they want to. We are seeing a lot of this. If the Right and systems of justice and all those 'lawmakers' won't do their jobs, we will be Mexico within the next 10 years. Parts of this country are at that stage now.

We no longer travel to ANYTHING in downtown Minneapolis or St Paul. Live in the far western suburbs near Lake Minnetonka and Wayzata is about as far east as we go now that we are nearing retirement. Also, am never anywhere without self defense main and backup products. Cold Steel or Zero Tolerance is my blade of choice for close work if confronted and my main motif takes a dump on me! Downtown Minneapolis was a thriving retail market when we moved here in 1987. Now it is a ghost town for retail stores. There is one fairly decent men's store and one great little clothier who sells my shoes on the skyway level but all other large stores are gone and entire shopping malls (Galtier Plaza) are empty! Thanks to my Lutheran Church for their "help"? I hate giving Amazon business but have to admit that there just aren't places to go to shop that are safe anymore! We know it is just a matter of time before the Mall of America will become a target! Stay away from there if you are visiting! Gangland!

How to the taxpayers feel about that ? Add MN to the list of 3rd world ghettos being created everyday in this country.

We don't have elections anymore in the People's Republic of Minnesota. The fix is totally in, if you have a "D" behind your name, you're in, at least for the prominent offices. How do you think Ilhan Omar, Al Franken and Keith Ellison got in? SOS is totally corrupt.

Joseph and Mary were returning to Joseph's home town. They were subjects (citizens) of the land they travelled in.
It follows that, should you want to reference scripture on this, you would return the refugees to THEIR home towns.
