Greta Thunberg, pronounced “Toon-berg,” has just been named Time magazine’s “Person of the Year” for 2019 because — well, because, she has a cadre of left-leaners who saw in her the necessary theater skills to publicly shame an entire world of fossil fuel users while keeping a straight face.
That’s not how “Time” put it.
But that’s the truth. What’s so remarkable about Thunberg is she has absolutely no accomplishments to her name. (Snip) Here’s Time’s gag-worthy opener: “Greta Thunberg sits in silence in the cabin of the boat that will take her across the Atlantic Ocean. Inside, there’s a cow skull hanging on the wall, a faded globe,

I thought Time had gone away. Anyhow, Greta is a fitting choice for that publication. Both are pretty much insignificant, except to nut jobs. They will be making someone's gold fish the next choice, because even animals are ''persons.''

It was between her and that kid that Rod Sterling wrote about who was wishing people into the corn field.

Thunberg is extremely unwell. The eyes are the window to the soul, and you can see the darkness, anger, and spitefulness there. The same thing is visible with another freak of nature, Megan Rapinoe. Both think the world should pay attention to the filth they spew. How dare they?

A bratty, mouthy, ignorant, unschooled (literally) teen with mental problems is "Person of the Year".
Says a lot more about how foolish and irrelevant "Time" has become than anything about the brat.

Sister of Chuckie, right up there on the cover of Time Magazine, with Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin (twice), two other Socialists "icons" of their day...

It is TIME for little Miss Greta to go back to school and actually learn something.
Like how science works, for example. One does not begin with a conclusion (People Bad) and work backwards. One collects data first. One does not collect data and then throw away that which does not fit. Doing so gives wrong results. We know she is physically handicapped and emotionally immature. We know she is being used by the One-Worlder Stalinists. We know she can spew invective as well as Sharpton, Schiff, Nadler, AOC. and all the rest.
What a pity that Person of the Year should be debased to newsworthy face of the moment!
Go away, TIME. Your TIME has passed.

Time magazine gives Mad Magazine legitimacy. Not a surprise this is the same leftist publication that named Hitler 'Man of the Year' before he started WWII and invaded all of Europe while killing millions of Jewish people. The little angry pig tail crybaby, Greta, is in good company.

My wife cited this when I told her I thought Greta was terribly funny and that I wanted a Thunberg ringtone that would bark "How Dare You, How Dare You" instead of ringing.
The things you DON'T know before you get married.
Can any tell me how to get that ringtone?

Activism replaces achievement this says... Doesn't being named one of the Left's saints qualify as an achievement for somebody whose only deed was condescendingly reprimanding the U.N.?
Like when Zippy was awarded the NPP for simply getting elected, the Time honor is basically a Participation Trophy for playing on the Progressive team.

If Greta were truly a climate crusader, she would decline this undeserved award. After all, how many trees will be murdered for paper, chemical fumes spewed into the atmosphere during printing, vehicle exhaust used to deliver the paper magazines, and the space taken up in landfills for the discarded (unsold) magazines? Will Greta lecture TIME on the evils of their industry and how they are are moving up the clock towards our certain doom?????? Just wondering.....

I actually saw an issue of 'Time' a month or so ago in a medical waiting room. That certainly seemed appropriate. It was only a few pages long and didn't include much advertising. They are about done.

Child abuse and assisted future suicide by all involved once the notoriety wanes and Greta wonders why no one loves her anymore. Or whether they ever did.

Apparently, insanity is the key feature that Time looks for in their Person of the Year...

To be fair, 0bama was named Time Magazine's Person of the Year twice, 2008 and 2012. Since he won the Nobel Peace Prize, Greta has a way to go. The new template is activism and not achievement (0bama being their symbol). This ought to set the whole social networking millennials on fire to be the next Greta. My fear is that Pope Francis will have a statue of Greta placed within the Vatican grounds.
