Chick-Fil-A Donates to Extremist
Southern Poverty Law Center

Internal Revenue Service (IRS) records show that Chick-fil-A is not only stopping donations to Christian organizations but is funding left-wing extremist groups, including the anti-Christian Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). Chick-fil-A’s 2017 990 IRS filing shows the fast-food franchise made a $2,500 donation to SPLC, among a laundry list of pro-abortion and pro-LGBT orgs, Townhall reports. The Chick-fil-A Foundation has come under conservative scrutiny since its decision to stop supporting Christian charities such as the Salvation Army, caving to disingenuous pressure campaigns from far-left activists. The SPLC is most infamous for inspiring an attempted domestic terror attack against the Family Research Council

Look at it as buying protection from left wing harassment. As a businessman in NYC, Trump often contributed to thugs who could deny him permits and stuff. Just to get things done.

The purpose of a business- any business is to make money. Nothing more. They institute corporate policies they think will accomplish that. In the case of CFA they were Christians as long as it was profitable. Now they think it isn't so its out the window.

The latest actions by Chick-fil-a go against every principle of its founders. It has been an amazingly successful enterprise even throughout all of the Leftist activism against it. Why are they doing this now? Why are they purposefully turning away the very customers who have made it so successful? It just doesn't make any sense and it breaks one's heart.

Note to ChickFilA: Dance with the one that brung ya. Sound advice that you-all should have followed. Anyone who has brought a date to a dance only to have that date dance with someone else all evening never forgets it and despises said 'date' forever. Many frequented your businesses due to their belief in your Christianity. Now you give tribute to Baal? This was a really bad decision.

I guess it would have been better to just be a chicken place without the need for social overtones of any kind. When a business gets into social issues or religion or politics, there can be problems ahead. Steve Jobs was smart. No one knew what he believed. He was just in the tech development business...

We were out and about all this afternoon and usually we would have stopped at the available CFA right where we were shopping. We looked in that direction and said *nah* let's not go there. They use to be a solid go to place to they float so much in the political wind I wouldn't trust their food actually on a day to day basis. Sad. We drove all the way back to our little town and went to a local restaurant for a sandwich. CFA can kiss our grits.

#10,#19,#21- Perhaps time will reveal the reasons for the recent changes made by Chick-Fil-A. However, considering the goings-on in the world today, including harassment, intimidation, flash-mob and rent-a-mob activities, moral decadence, AI, shadow government and, tragically and alarmingly what appears to be advancing apostasy, Revelation 13 comes to mind, particularly Verse 16: (The Second Beast) “Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark,” Unless one has the mark, “Economic activity is restricted to those bearing the mark of the beast.” The world may not yet be at this point, but it appears that powerful negative forces are become bolder in actions to the point of people and businesses feeling threatened by those forces to the point of opting for safety rather than conflict through physical, mental, or litigation abuse. Chick-Fil-A has been highly regarded for its Christian values so is clearly a prime target for destruction by one means or another—including besmirching its heretofore unique and admired business ethics.

Why do companies now have to donate to any group? Stop it! When they feel the need to be philanthropic give your product to the homeless, poor, people in need after a disaster, police and firefighters to thank them for their service. Keep it local and stay away from national organizations. The LGBTQ gestapo are relentless. If they can’t get you one way, they will go after you in another. Personally, I would never cave to these bullies because you cannot appease them. Their goal is your destruction and they will settle for nothing less. Ever notice how their determination to destroy is very similar to the terrorist’s strategy? Their actions should chill the heart of any freedom loving individual in this country. The LGBTQ radicals are particularly disturbing because they don’t care who they destroy. Now it appears they now bully corporations because they can and it will not stop because each time they do and are successful, it just gives them more reason to do it again. It saddens me to see CFA cave to the mob and I predict many people will no longer be loyal customers. When you disappoint people who have stood by you you lose something more than just customers. You lose trust and that is very hard to regain. If CFA does not immediately address this, it won’t matter how good the food or service because they will have betrayed their customers. It’s just so sad. When will we learn that nothing except complete celebration of LGBTQ community will ever satisfy them? Serious question, how can such a minority of the population gain so much power in such a short time? Is it their financial clout or is the majority of society really okay with their scorched earth strategy? Any whiff of anything less than total acceptance and celebration of their lifestyle brings the LGBTQ hammer down hard and swift. This is the strategy employed by the radical left and it seems to be working.

I had just one chicken sandwich from CFA, since a store opened nearby. I judged it pretty decent. I was never interested in the corporation’s public declaration of Christian faith. It had nothing to do with the taste. However, I inwardly cheered whenever they made big bucks, in spite of liberal/left/queer opposition, as I cheered for any organization that resists the bullying tactics of the left, who simply cannot reconcile with the fact that other people don’t think like they do. I was not all that disappointed with CFA’s capitulation, since I put my trust only in God, not in man.

The fake University of Farmington, set up by the Department of Homeland Security, that resulted in the arrest of 250 foreign students this year and prompted outrage from leftists, was a concept embraced by the Obama administration, which engaged in similar operations. Leftists experienced a collective freakout this week after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the arrest of dozens of foreign nationals committing visa fraud by enrolling in the fake university. It was “part of a sting operation by federal agents who enticed foreign-born students, mostly from India, to attend the school that marketed itself as offering graduate programs in technology and computer studies,” the Detroit Free Press reported.

As one can readily see, Hillary Clinton has been unable to recover from having lost the 2016 presidential election -- a self-inflicted wound that she will never cop to. Or, possibly, an act of divine intervention. She has come up with well over a dozen reasons for her defeat -- every one but the real one, i.e. she is a loser -- not just a sore loser, but a total loser. She is incredibly incompetent, fundamentally dishonest, and criminally corrupt, and these are her good qualities. In addition, she is bereft of a trace of integrity or character, has absolutely no judgment, and is devoid of people skills

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is leading a delegation of members of Congress to the annual international climate summit known as COP25 in Madrid, Spain, next week. While the delegation will include members of both the House and Senate, it will not be bipartisan, as only Democrats will be attending. "It is a privilege to accompany a high-level Congressional delegation to Spain to combat the existential threat of our time: the climate crisis," Pelosi said in a statement on Saturday.

Left-wing actress and activist Jane Fonda spent the Friday after Thanksgiving doing what she has done every Friday for the past eight weeks — protesting climate change. But this time, she also took aim at the agriculture and cattle industries. The Hollywood star donned her signature red overcoat to lead her eighth consecutive “Fire Drill Friday” demonstration in Washington, DC, where 38 people were arrested. Fonda wasn’t among those detained but the actress still made a ruckus, joining fellow protestors in front of the Capitol Building to demand the end to fossil fuels.

MSNBC host Joy Reid slammed Republicans as President Trump's "racial and religious cult" after a poll showed that a majority of them view Trump as a better president than Abraham Lincoln. "There’s a lot of ways if you look at like the public religion research institute numbers that, you know, it isn’t just a pejorative to say that it’s a cult," Reid said Saturday on her show. "There’s a lot of evidence that is a racial and religious cult of personality in which his base is solidly among the white evangelicals that almost worship him and say that he’s the chosen one of God."

She must have looked good enough to eat. A jovial Joe Biden nipped his wife Jill’s finger onstage Saturday at a rally in Council Bluffs, Iowa, as she introduced him at the first stop of an eight-day, 800-mile road trip through the first-to-caucus state. As Jill Biden flung an arm wide to make a point, her husband theatrically dodged her hand — then, on a second pass, gave her a playful chomp on her fingertip. She took the nibble in stride, laughing along with a crowd of about 200 supporters.

Every Christmas season, it appears we have to endure listening to the race hustlers and the gay patrol complain about the one channel left in America that does not partake in envelope-pushing. The Hallmark channel really is the last known entertainment that does not engage in the culture wars by pushing "diversity" for the sake of pleasing the agitators and instead focuses on its demographics; white moms and grandmas. But these days, being white and enjoying things white people like is a cause for concern and mockery. I'm white, and a mom,

The first Christians were not complainers, Pope Francis said Saturday, because “sad people are not Christians.” “We think of the first Christians, who had everyone against them, who were persecuted and yet they didn’t complain about the world,” the pope told participants in an international conference on evangelization taking place in Rome. “Reading the New Testament, we see that they were not concerned with defending themselves against an empire that put them to death, but with announcing Jesus, even at the cost of their lives,” he said. The pontiff also had strong words against defeatism and pessimism, urging his hearers to be joyful in witnessing to Christ.
