There’s a lot of talk about Chick-fil-A. Most of it is generated by the #fakenews establishment that wants nothing more than to demonize an organization that, historically, has publicly professed its Christian faith that is inseparable from its business practices.
“[We are] based on biblical principles, asking God and pleading with God to give us wisdom on decisions we make about people and the programs and partnerships we have. And He has blessed us."

Guess I’m not just not going to go out of my way to go to CFA. I won’t be going at all.
Hypocrites.

When you compromise your stated values for 30 pieces of silver then you are willing to do and say anything to justify your dramatic turn to the left. Truett Cathy would have NEVER done so. Ol' Dan and his crew are willing to do anything while professing to Franklin Graham that nothing has changed. Seems like the Bible has a similar story!!

Wow, that is about the most depressing thing I have read in, well ever!!!!!
I actually remember when Covenant House was actually a faith-based organization that lived by Christian principals to help homeless kids. But lie-beralism destroys everything it touches, and those Christian values and principals long ago disappeared!!!

In an earlier life, I handled the budget for a multi-billion construction project. The contractors had charity budgets and were quite open about how they used the money to pay off the various little interest groups to keep them from making trouble. They talked about how the groups were like children - making sure that no one got more money than they did, and wanting what other groups got. Sickening. No different from the mafia and their protection money. NASCAR paid off Jesse Jacking and his Rainbow Coalition the same way.

Mike Huckabee had the best quotes on the Chick-fil-A debacle. We have loved and supported the Cathys, but this looks like they have sunk to just another chicken joint.
It's just a matter of time until they decide to start opening on Sundays. I do believe that they have been blessed because of their faithfulness, but apparently Dan Cathy has left behind the faithfulness of Truett.
Very sad.

This is stunning. The Cathy's have delivered a gut punch to their most loyal supporters and costumers. Pure evil.

In my more cynical days, I noticed that those who profess their Christian faith the loudest acted like it only as long as it was good for business. The second it became more profitable to be a scoundrel, down came the crosses and the fish.

Had a Popeyes chicken sandwich for lunch today. All I can say is, it was awesome, the store was clean and the staff friendly and outgoing. Downside, the place was really busy and so the wait was a bit long, but not overly so!

You know I think they ought to be open on Sundays now that they caved?

The local franchisees, store managers, and staff have no say in what the empty-headed empty suits at the corporate office headquarters decide. Your boycotting would just hurt them, the local people.

We prefer to cook at home or go to a few local restaurants where they know us by name.

Wow! About an hour ago we were driving by a chick fil A discussing whether we wanted to eat there. We don’t have one in our town but are visiting our daughter We weren’t really sure since we all new about the Salvation Army diss. Luckily it was closed. Probably the 22 inches of snow we had in Boulder (clearly a global warming thing). I had no idea exactly how far left they have been moving.

A real shame. The reason I first tried CFA was because they supported Christian charities.
Now they have spit in our eye.

Because of the change, CFA is now just another in our choice list of fast food restaurants. It is equal to the others now in our mind (except for McDonald's, which I dislike). We used to get food from CFA about every ten days. We haven't been there since the announcement was made. It is just not the same.

Really glad I don't eat chicken now. American Family Association has a petition to send CFA.

Who ever made the decision at CFA to cave to the anti God crowd should be fired and replaced with someone who has a set and then publicly announce they they are going to reverse the decision to sell out to people who still aren't going to set foot in a CFA.

Perhaps the shift came because Chick-fil-A got drunk on the huge surge in profits from becoming Conservatives' poster child. And their primary aim shifted from stability of principles, to stability of profits.
Seeking to sustain profits, they capitulated to those who sought to damage their profitability, failing to recognize that those groups never forgive. And in the Quixotic chase to become affirmed by those who hate them, they will become even more 'Progressive' than the Left (who would still hate them, even if they became Gay-fil-A).

Never tried this place. Guess I never will. Dropping it's support for the venerable Salvation Army was it for me.
