RUSH: Okay, folks, stiffen up out there. It’s gonna be a big, big, challenging week out there, because what we’re faced with, the Democrats are going for everything this week. They’re moving too fast here. They’re going for everything this week. They’re not gonna be able to contain themselves. And what we’re gonna get is a repeat of the Kavanaugh strategy. As every effort they make blows up, they’re gonna have another one right in line behind it. We are gonna be overwhelmed with people stepping forward claiming Trump has been a bad actor since day one. It’s gonna be oppressive.

Why are they getting away with this lawlessness? Where is Barr or another lawyer who can stand up for the President and the American voter????

While Rush revs up the drama, I’ll say that the Dems will expose themselves as the meanspirited destroyers we know them to be. They won’t be able to restrain themselves just because they are on national TV. Some will believe they will look heroic if they really go after the witnesses. It may show just how out of touch with the American people they really are.

PS. Does anyone really believes that some appointed functionaries and a disgruntled Ukrainian will be able to convince the American people that they are more truthful than an all-American president like Donald J. Trump who has done so much for our people and our country, at home and on the global stage?

The democrats have bet everything on Schiff’s kangaroo court. They are going all in and it will be contentious. The pure theatrics of it we know will be front and center because we have seen this farce played out before by the democrats. There is nothing they love better than the drama. It plays so well to their base because it is emotionally driven. Facts or evidence? Not so much. Just when you think nothing could ever be as bad as the Kavanaugh hearings, this will top it. They hope to sway public opinion with this performance so nothing will be held back. God help this country. The democrat party would rather tear it down than abandon this folly. We now see how the government can be brought to a halt by a party driven insane by their hatred of a President. Apparently, there is no vehicle in which to stop this madness. The Founders failed to provide a provision that has the power to assure the country that one party can not bring charges based upon hearsay, psychic powers of intent, or testimony of embedded moles. Clearly, they never envisioned that a thoroughly corrupt and lawless democrat party would ever come to power in their wildest dreams. Our Founders were men of integrity and virtue. Had they ever had the opportunity to foresee the democrat party, more strict provisions would likely have been provided. As it is, the democrats are prepared to drag the rule of law, Constitution and historical precedent through the mud because they can. Pray for divine intervention in this abomination. God protect our President and this great Republic from the destroyers amongst us.

Nearly 80,000 immigrants approved for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which shields those who came to the country illegally as minors from deportation, have an arrest record--including arrests for violent or sexual offenses. (Snip) “Many of the people in DACA, no longer very young, are far from ‘angels,’” Trump tweeted. “Some are very tough, hardened criminals. President Obama said he had no legal right to sign order, but would anyway. If Supreme Court remedies with overturn, a deal will be made with Dems for them to stay!”

David Gibson, co-owner of Gibson's Bakery in Oberlin, died Saturday after battling cancer for most of the year. The bakery announced his death on Facebook. The statement said he died at home in Oberlin, surrounded by his family. Gibson, 65, still was working in the bakery and helping customers at the family business as recently as this summer, even as he sought treatment for pancreatic cancer. Prayers, condolences and thoughts poured in from customers, friends, former employees and strangers on several Facebook posts Saturday.

If you are paying attention to the Washington circus that is the impeachment inquiry into President Trump's handling of the much maligned Ukraine call, this is what real collusion looks like: a media largely committed to advancing the goal of Democrats to severely damage or remove him from office, a series of at first private testimonies by people who appear to have similar motives and connections to Democrats and/or anti-Trump forces, and now a new book by "Anonymous," which claims the president has a bad attitude and is difficult to work with. Where to start? "Anonymous" is a self-admitted coward.

In January, 2016, Nikki Haley, who was then the first female governor of South Carolina, delivered the Republican response to Barack Obama’s final State of the Union address. She dutifully criticized the two-term President, trotting out a few G.O.P. talking points on the national debt, health-care reform, and the threat of terrorism. (Snip) When the interviewer, Norah O’Donnell, asked whether Trump would ultimately be impeached and removed from office, Haley’s reply was entirely dismissive. “No. On what?” she said. “You’re gonna impeach a President for asking for a favor that didn’t happen

The smear campaign against Gibson’s Bakery continues in interview during CBS Sunday Morning segment about the case. One of the most disturbing aspects of the Gibson’s Bakery v. It started not just during the protests and pre-litigation interactions that gave rise to the lawsuit, but in the Answer filed by the defendants in response to the lawsuit. Until a month or so ago, virtually no one outside of the seven circles of hell that is the State Department had heard of Marie Yovanovitch. Even the intrepid John Solomon had not heard of her until March of this year. He had interviewed Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko who told him that Yovanovitch gave him a "do not prosecute" list the first time he met with her. He was angered by her list which he justifiably saw it as interference in Ukraine's government. He felt she was meddling in their anti-corruption investigations by telling him who should not be investigated.

TAMPA — From the moment the NFL announced its hasty plan for a Colin Kaepernick workout this weekend, the questions have been flying. After all this time, why the sudden rush? Did some team request this? How many general managers will show up? Is this simply a ploy for atonement by the NFL? Yet, around here, a more important question needs to be asked: Can Kaepernick help the Buccaneers? It’s an interesting and legitimate question with, at this point, no clear answer. Kaepernick has not been in an NFL uniform in nearly three years so it’s worth wondering if his skills have atrophied.

At Harvard, few professors carry more political cachet than Laurence Tribe, who holds the title “University Professor,” (a very big deal at Harvard) and teaches constitutional law at Harvard Law School.
