In the program for an exhibition of his works at a museum in Stockholm in 1968, pop artist Andy Warhol famously predicted “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.” The phrase “15 minutes of fame” has since come to describe anyone or anything that’s a short-lived blip on the pop culture or media radar.
Fast-forward 50 years, and that “future” is now. The latest manifestation of Warhol’s prediction is one Robert F. “Beto” O’Rourke. The former Texas Democratic congressman’s 15 minutes of fame were up last November after he lost a U.S. Senate race to Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, but apparently, no one thought to tell him.

The media created Beto to defeat Cruz. It didn’t work but now they’ve created a monster who believes he has national relevance. Now that same media will be tasked by the Democrats to take him out. He’s an embarrassment.

The tee shirt line quoted at the end of the editorial kills it. And cost me some spilled coffee.

He's done, but is he ready to admit it? I hope not, because he's exposed so much of the horrifying reality of the liberal agenda, which works to help our side. Plus, he's such great entertainment. I still smile over his flu shot stunt and the comments about his exposed arms. "Beto 's already turned in his guns" lol

Yes, the last sentence of the article is worth the read--T-shirt that reads, “Nobody needs an AR-15? Nobody needs a whiny liberal either, yet here you are.”

I'm surprised that his name is still known on a nationwide scale but if we tolerate AOC, Tlaib and Omar, why not a Beto? The Hilarious Hispanic has made every mistake that a rookie politician can make by assuming that Americans will do as they are told, will willingly disarm because some whacko thinks he can override the Constitution and assumes that skateboarder looks and a little money given to him through his wife's allowance and some radical left wingers like Soros who would run ANYBODY who agrees with their silly ambitions, wants and needs. Yes, by all means keep his name up there. Donald Trump could not buy better support and I will be enjoying my AR-15 long after Beto is a forgotten failure.

This just goes to show how the media can put one candidate up and others down.
The media and what were once called the "Madison Avenue" types can sell ice to an Eskimo and make us FELL (rather than think) that just about anything they drag up is the best thing we've ever seen!
By manipulating what goes into and out of the spin cycle (or the 'important' focus to take the heat off other crimes) they control the so-called "narrative" or as Dr. Carson called "the latest shiny object".
Beavis O'Dork was a made up personality during his Texas Senate race. His MOUTH saying the most outrageous things disqualifies him unless he moves to California or Washington state.

The bad news is that we've had to endure 3 years of this insufferable buffoon but the good news is that his 15 minutes are almost up. When that happens the left will throw him under the bus along with large numbers of other useful idiots who've outlived their usefulless to the democrat party.

What a relief it will be when we no longer feel the need to upload anything to, from or about Robert O'Rourke. Texas owes the rest of us an apology.

He's a boor who thinks he's the Sun King. He ascends the stage: "Here comes the orator, with his flood of words and his drop of reason." (Ben Franklin)
He strikes the pose of erudition, with his solemn intonation, his self-righteousness and self-deification, an idol in his own eyes. Listen for a couple of minutes and you know the guy isn't smart or wise, he's just a pompous and tiresome bombast.
He's a spoiled child, glittering like tinsel in artificial light, casting about for a job suitable for the rich kid married to a richer kid. In the "flood of words" delivered with supercilious and unctuous accents, there's nothing.

Beto is a loud mouth race card player. I saw a montage of him screaming that America has been a racist country since the day human beings stepped foot on the land. This guy is a squirrel in a nut farm. That and hope he wants to have change all across the country. We are not racist and we like this country as it is. So stuff a sock in it and pound sand.

To paraphrase what Churchill once said about someone he thought was a loser: "An empty cab pulled up and Beto got out."

15 seconds is more like it. Buttplug deserved 15 milliseconds. Never, have I seen such a group of misfits running for the democrat nominee for President. Heaven, help us.
