Yesterday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that the House of Representatives would not move forward with a vote on impeachment any time soon. The statement comes as a month of pressure has built up behind efforts to unseat the president over a phone call with the Ukrainian president. While Democrats insist, contrary to precedent, that they do not need to hold a vote, their unwillingness to hold one may show the impeachment train is skidding off the tracks. In the giddy early days of the “impeachment investigation” over Ukraine, Democrats saw the polls move in their direction. But those polls have now stabilized and in some cases crept back against impeachment.

Yes, The dems face a problem of failure now or failure later. With NO EVIDENCE of wrongdoing the long term failure in the Senate is assured. The dems could, "bull in china shop", rush into that despite the certain failure. It might not even pass a House vote. Why then persist? Because it is, in dem minds, the ONLY election strategy they have. They can't beat up Trump over the economy or pretty much anything else. His success is too great and too obvious. All they can do is throw mud and with the media cowed and minimized by Trump THAT isn't very effective. Their only option is to keep the focus on the House and toss the logs of what little credibility they have left onto the impeachment bonfire. LOOK HERE! REALLY BIG FIRE! The key is to keep it going for over a year. How long can you prop up a cardboard, pseudo whistleblower obviously a dem deep state "agent" who really has NO IDEA what he is talking about? The dems want to keep the investigation in the shadows but the problem with that is, in the shadows there is no public visibility. How often can you trot out Tweedledum and Tweedledee (Schiffty and Nadless) to blatantly lie about what is going on? How long will the Left wait for their never to be delivered pony? If forced to deliver the goods, it is likely the "whistleblower" will be as big a faceplant as Mueller. How many total embarrassments can the dems face? Will the Left be demoralized for the election with failure after failure? The BIG takeaway is that the dems have no choice. They have NOTHING ELSE.

They have known all along that Pres. Trump has done nothing impeachable. They just wanted a way to brainwash the voters against Pres. Trump in order to win the next election. In the process, they have destroyed any chance they may have had to win in 2020.

The Democrats have already "accomplished" two significant things: 1. They've cheapened impeachment, reducing it to the level of a negative political ad. 2. As with false charges of rape or racism, they've made it much harder to take impeachment seriously as a check on corruption. If Pelosi and Schiff want to emote about how sad, very sad, and prayerful they are, this is what they should grieve.

The key point that Marcus didn't mention is the public groundswell against the dims and msm grows stronger each and every day they cling to their fake impeachment schtick. Americans, regardless if they are registered democrats or republicans are very sick and tired of the dim fakery and the propagandist msm which is still driven by rage and the results of the November 2016 Presidential election. It is quite amazing how the dims and msm diminished their relevance all by themselves. If it wasn't for all of the TVs at airports, the Communist News Network would have gone the way of Air America long ago. The dims and msm assumed that the more they propagandize with the old Alinsky tactic of "if we say it loud enough and long enough that the people will begin to believe it", that common people would see it as a secular truth. But, dims and msm, this doesn't work anymore - electronic access to what WE believe is the truth as a "nation under God" destroyed his tactic long ago. Hence, the dims and msm are politically, morally, and spiritually bankrupt.

Can anyone answer this question. Why do all the airports play CNN and nothing else on the TVs? Is there a law requiring it? Does the FAA require it. Most of the gates have more than one TV. Why not have some variety? That is why I always have my I-Pad and a set of buds with me.

Nancy's painted herself into a corner. Up to this point she's been able to declare "We're going to impeach him !!!" with much media and fanboy fanfare and celebration. Now, she's created a campaign issue for President Trump pound on all the way up until November 2020 where he can declare "Can you believe these idiots are trying to impeach me? That's Nancy, Chuck, Schiff, the squad ... democrats all".

#5, it’s because CNN pays the airports to do it. However, hardly anyone is watching and the sound is turned off in many airports. I fly a lot for my business and my experience is that the vast majority of travelers are playing with their phones, tablets or laptops and never even look at the television screens. The only thing it does for CNN is boost their ratings. Now, about impeachment - I would think that demonrats who aren’t loony radical leftists would be pretty tired of their party doing absolutely nothing but holding secret meetings and ranting about impeachment while they do absolutely nothing for their constituents. Meanwhile, they see their salaries going up, their taxes going down, more jobs than people to fill them and their investments going up. Most people vote their wallets and those wallets are doing quite well under PDT.

President Trump will never be impeached because the Democrats would have to prove he did something worthy of impeachment. Instead, they want to keep the smear campaign emerging from Adam Schiff's secret "Stat Chamber" flowing like a sewer until election day. I hope more and more of the public becomes aware of how dishonest and evil this, so called, "inquiry" is. Either by their active support or silent approval, all Democrats are guilty of this travesty.

#5, apparently it's a long-term sweetheart deal with individual airports. Length of contract and price varies. CNN Airport is a customized network and they pay the airport to peddle their garbage. How communist is that? No other news network has bothered to put together an airport version, therefore CNN seems to have the exclusive. Between 24/7 propaganda, inadequate and invasive security and poor flight conditions and performance, the airlines have successfully lost my business forever.

#5 ... in many smaller airports, CNN actually offered to install the television sets in exchange for "bringing the people news". Then they offered to pay the airports to keep the t.v. turned on. Found money! The impeachment "trial" is an end unto itself. Note that the Lame Stream Media happily reports whatever the Dems "leak" even when it proves wrong! Not one is screaming that this whole process is unconstitutional and unfair. Just imagine if the Republicans did this to Obama. Headlines every day supporting The One. What fools the Left has become.

The Dems have revealed to the world how corrupt and ugly they truly are with all their relentless fake and false anti-Trump accusations. As far as I'm concerned, If you're a Democrat you're dirty. You're one of them. Civil war is not an impossibility. Isn't that what's happening right now. Without Trump everything we worked for as individuals and collectively as a nation will disappear. Once the leftist and liberal Congressional Democrats figure that there are enough wimpy RINO Republicans in the Senate who will vote against the President and with the Democrats to give “removal from office” the majority vote in the Senate, the Democrats will vote to impeach the President, for even wearing the wrong colored socks, in the House of Representatives. That way the Democrats can hype up their low information constituencies, by claiming just as Hillary Clinton is doing by blaming the constitutional Electoral College procedures for her defeat, over the fact that she won the majority vote but not the required constitutionally Electoral College vote. The Democrats will essentially claim the same this time, but this time blaming the constitutional requirement that there must be a two thirds vote in the Senate to remove a President from office, thus blaming that constitutional requirement for their failure to remove the President from office, at the end of this faux Democrat impeachment inquisition that started about 28 minutes after the President was sworn into office.

I recently took a Viking cruise in China, and the stateroom TV's had CNN as their primary USA news channel. In my review of the cruise I critiqued their choice, stating that FOX had many more viewers than CNN, and that they should switch news channels. I doubt they did ! "Fox News averaged 2.4 million viewers to dominate the primetime hours of 8-11 p.m. ET, while MSNBC finished second with an average of 1.5 million viewers.....Ratings-challenged CNN finished a distant No. 13, averaging only 797,000 primetime viewers and shedding 11 percent of its audience compared to July 2018."

This is a no win issue for the dumbocrats. If they do impeach, on no evidence, after a clearly biased kangaroo court "investigation", it will only solidify Trumps support further among the faithful, and much of the uninformed public will soon see that this is merely a political stunt based on no justifiable grounds. If they don't impeach after talking it up for so long, they will face backlash from their looney rabid TDS suffering base voters who will stay home in droves come November. Reminder to self...put more popcorn on the grocery list.

Their objecting, as far as I can tell, is to try to stir up hate, dissatisfaction, and unhappiness in America in the forlorn hope that people, being unhappy, will vote for something else other than President Trump. Associated with this is the purpose of keeping the numerous Democ'RAT scandals- Benghazi gun-running, Spygate, Hunter Biden/Kerry's stepson Ukraine corruption, etc. etc. OFF the front pages. Two decades ago, many scholars began predicting that as China’s creation of wealth continued to speed ahead, the country would cross a threshold. Once a substantial new middle class had been created, they reasoned, politics would tip decisively in a more participatory, possibly even democratic, direction. But while robust economic growth continued, the first decade of this century came and went with no severe challenge to China’s authoritarian model. And under China’s present leader, Xi Jinping, who took office in 2013, it has only become more entrenched: last year he changed the longstanding rules of succession to allow himself to remain in charge for life.

With three polls showing her in the lead, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) may soon eclipse former Vice President Joe Biden as the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination. That’s great news for Republicans, because Warren has a problem: The central message of her campaign is that the economy is working for the very wealthy but it is not working for ordinary Americans. Unfortunately for her, ordinary Americans disagree. A Marist poll asked voters whether “the economy is working well for you personally.” Nearly two-thirds of Americans said yes. This includes large majorities in almost every demographic group.

For a sense of how divorced the Democrats are from mainstream America, the collapse of Tulsi Gabbard’s presidential campaign is instructive. Gabbard is a liberal who supports banning so-called assault weapons, raising the minimum wage to $15, free college tuition, etc. But her positions on abortion and health care are relatively moderate. Moreover, she is circumspect about impeachment, the only responsible position for a sitting congresswoman, and supports withdrawing American troops from Syria. Thus, her poll numbers are tanking. This is good news for Republicans. If a liberal like Tulsi Gabbard is too moderate for today’s Democrats, they have no chance of beating Trump in 2020.

Why not let the American people decide in November 2020 if President Trump should stay in office, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked at her Thursday news conference.Election issues are for voters, and impeachment is for lawmakers, Pelosi responded. (Video) "The voters are not going to decide whether we honor our oath of office," Pelosi said: I keep saying to people, impeachment is about the truth and the Constitution of the United States. Any other issues that you have -- disapproving of the way the president has dealt with Syria; whatever the subject is -- reluctance, the cowardice to do something about gun violence;

For a long time now, those of us who have the misfortune to have working eyes and ears have become deeply familiar with the activities of one family. This family is (still) taken very seriously by some very serious people, in spite of the fact that vast numbers of us would rather eat chlorine-flavored ice cream than ever hear from them again. Like some sort of deathless voodoo incantation, the name of this family echoes around the world. It echoes in high-altitude frosted glass conference rooms filled with international bores.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took a veiled shot at Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) on Friday, alleging the congresswoman was being groomed by Russia to be a third-party candidate in 2020. The failed 2016 Democrat nominee, who has accused President Donald Trump of being Russia’s “puppet” in the past, made the remarks during an interview on David Plouffe’s Campaign HQ podcast, while discussing Russian interference. Clinton suggested during the exchange that Russian President Vladimir Putin was grooming a stalking horse candidate to ensure Trump would be reelected.

TAMPA — The boy was 11 when the sexual abuse started. The abuser was his family’s 22-year-old live-in nanny. She sexually assaulted him at least 15 times over several months, according to prosecutors. In the fall of 2014, she gave birth to his child. Three years passed before the boy had the courage to tell his mother what happened. On Wednesday, the now 17-year-old father sat in a courtroom to watch Marissa Mowry sentenced to 20 years in prison for what she did to him. She must also complete 10 years of sex offender probation upon her release from prison.
