As if Joe Biden succoring his son with Ukrainian oligarch cash weren't enough nepotism for the princeling political class, here come the big leaguers in that game, the Clintons. According to the New York Post: The retirement of longtime New York Rep. Nita Lowey could open the door for a political newcomer with big political name — Chelsea Clinton. “Is Chelsea Clinton going to make her move?” one New York Democrat asked shortly after learning of Lowey’s retirement.

If she runs, she will win. Voters are too easily enchanted by the surname. I've always felt sympathy for Nita Lowey. She was Patrick Moynihan's choice to replace him in the Senate. Senator Moynihan was pressured into endorsing Hillary Clinton instead. His demeanor on that day was obviously chagrined and reluctant.

Chelsea, the brood mare, has three small children, but since she grew up without a mother (an Arkansas female state trooper was Chelsea's 'guard' which meant the Clintons, always cheap, took advantage of the Arkansas taxpayers for the free nanny/guard.) perhaps Chelsea is comfortable abandoning her little ones in NYC, to p[arty on down to the House of Representatives. The Democrats’ Debate
Was Unconstitutional

Posted by PageTurner 10/16/2019 6:56:01 AM Post Reply
Tuesday night’s CNN/New York Times debate of the Democratic presidential candidates was filled with propositions to radicalize American society, from confiscation of law-abiding citizens’ guns to adopting Canada’s single-payer health system but somehow “we’re going to do better than the Canadians do,” as Sen. Bernie Sanders promised without extrapolating, to imprisoning executives of companies that pioneer life-saving medicines. But, astonishingly, it also showcased casual discussion of the federal government adopting policies that would stab the Constitution of the United States in the heart – in particular those of Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

President Donald Trump has a love/hate relationship with polls, surveys and predictions. He loves the ones that paint him in a positive light, and, of course, he hates all those “fake” ones that don’t. He’s going to absolutely adore this one. According to Moody’s Analytics, Trump is headed toward another four years in the White House. And, if the numbers are right, it won’t even be close. In fact, his Electoral College victory could very well be wider than the 304-227 margin he enjoyed over Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. Since 1980, Moody’s has managed to nail the outcome every time but once — like many, it didn’t see Trump coming.

Up until now, I'd had a healthy respect for the books and academic work of Fiona Hill, the now-former White House Russia expert who testified in a closed-door hearing about her knowledge of Russia, Ukraine and Trump, apparently pretty negatively. I've read "Mr. Putin," her most important book, and while I didn't particularly agree with the sour picture she painted of Russia and President Vladimir Putin, she was pretty solid in her scholarship even if her assessments were exclusively negative. Now, it looks like she might just have a soft spot for Joe Biden, who wrote one of three blurbs for her 2012 book called "Mr. Putin," co-written with

When the news broke yesterday that Elizabeth Warren probably invented the tale of her pregnancy firing as a teacher, some benefit of the doubt was fair, given that an old tape of her describing the reason she left her job could have been incomplete, and maybe there was more than one reason she left the job. Welp. Now we've got the county records. The Washington Free Beacon went digging into the microfiches or the physical records themselves from the early 1970s, which is very challenging non-Google research doable only on location in Riverdale, New Jersey, and pretty well blew that Warren story out of the water.

With President Trump facing a high-risk impeachment, and far-left Democrat Elizabeth Warren now beating Joe Biden in national polls — including the latest IBD/TIPP poll — anyone on the productive side of the economy should be deeply worried, and ready to do anything to prevent Warren from getting the keys to the White House. Instead, some are already trying to make peace with the prospect of a Warren presidency. How do you campaign for an election that doesn’t exist? Or lobby against policies that you’re meant to support? In late Putinism, the answer is often to do so publicly, loudly, but deniably. Politics is in the air, after all, with a sense that the country's future, so long locked behind walls of conformity and conservatism, may be up for grabs. As I wrote in my last column, this also means debate has erupted within the elite, on everything from succession to stimulus, personalia to policy. Perhaps the most striking expression of this was the recent interview Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu gave to the middle-brow pro-government newspaper Moskovskii

Elizabeth Warren has a pretty impressive penchant for makin' it up when it comes to serving a leftist narrative. Fake Indian, complete with tales of discrimination experienced, worked for awhile, until it didn't. So did the fake research, claiming medical costs are the reason behind most bankruptcies. Nope, not at all. Now we have Warren saying that when she became pregnant as a young teacher of special-ed students, presumably in the 1960s, she was asked to leave her post for being visibly pregnant. A found tape of her speaking in 2008 suggests maybe she actually wanted to leave her dead-end job teaching special-ed to scale the career ladder instead.
