I get to gloat a little on this one.Earlier today, I wrote on the news that the Trump-Ukraine “whistle-blower” was a registered Democrat. On its own, that’s somewhat telling news, but perhaps not overwhelmingly meaningful without more information. In my article, I opined why I thought CNN chose to report the story in the first place given their editorial leans. Now, you might ask yourself why CNN would report this. The answer is simple. It’s called getting ahead of a story to help frame it. We’ve seen this over and over when damaging information that could possibly help Donald Trump is on the verge of being exposed.

A fifth parent was sentenced Friday in the college admissions scandal — Agustin Huneeus received a five-month prison sentence for agreeing to pay $300,000 to bribe his daughter’s way into the University of Southern California.The former California wine businessman appeared in court in Boston Friday after pleading guilty in May to a single count of fraud and conspiracy.
Authorities said Huneeus paid $50,000 to rig his daughter’s SAT exam and was planning to pay another $250,000 to bribe her way into USC. He was arrested before finishing the deal, and his daughter was not admitted to the school.

Bernie Sanders (I-VT) revealed on Friday, as the 78-year-old was discharged from a Las Vegas hospital, that he had suffered a heart attack earlier in the week. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, the senator underwent surgery “to treat a blocked artery, having two stents inserted to prop open the artery,” Reuters reported. Iranian hackers attempted to hack President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign, The New York Times reported Friday afternoon, citing sources who are familiar with the matter but who cannot comment publicly. The report comes hours after Microsoft said hackers made more 2,000 attempts to identify the email accounts of current and former U.S. officials and accounts associated with presidential campaigns. One of the co-founders of Whistleblower Aid previously worked at several liberal activist organizations financed by billionaire activist and Democratic Party megadonor George Soros. The other co-founder currently leads a separate organization that boasts on its four-person advisory board John Podesta, who led Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, served as Chief of Staff to Bill Clinton and founded the Soros-funded Center for American Progress pushing a progressive agenda.

The CIA’s involvement in the Steele dossier fraud and its use of college professor agents against the Trump campaign were cartoonish. The dossier reads like it was written late in the evening after a few drinks.
The current CIA whistleblower operation is dramatically more sophisticated. The written complaint was obviously put together by teams of experts. It’s all nonsense, but it’s excellent nonsense. There’s sloppiness -- the inspector general got caught altering whistleblower procedures to grease the wheels for this operation, as discovered by Sean Davis at the Federalist. But the CIA is evolving and becoming better at operations against American political targets.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton publicly asked the People’s Republic of China in May to release President Donald Trump’s tax returns — exactly the same act that Democrats and the media claim warrants impeachment.
Clinton, the defeated 2016 Democratic Party nominee for president, appeared on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show on May 1, 2019. She repeated Trump’s joke from July 2016 — which was taken seriously enough by President Barack Obama and the intelligence community to provide a pretext for eavesdropping on the Trump campaign — in which he said, “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 [Clinton] e-mails that are missing.”
The inspector general for the Intelligence Community is Michael Atkinson. He is very sketchy. Atkinson was previously legal counsel for the DOJ-NSD during the ‘stop-Trump’ tenure of John Carlin and Mary McCord. As a result, Atkinson was a participant in the weaponizing of the DOJ-NSD via FISA abuse, along with NSA database exploitation and tenuous FARA legal theories used to target political opposition.
In short, Atkinson seems dirty. At the very least he hangs around dirty characters.

During a town hall meeting with constituents in Michigan this week, Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib agreed that U.S. Marshals should “hunt down” White House officials and remove them from office if they "refuse to leave power." This includes President Trump.

Biden’s campaign announced on Thursday it only raised $15.2 million in the third quarter, significantly less than expected. The sum was less than what was raised by competitors polling below Biden, such as Sen. The overall African American unemployment rate held steady at 5.5 percent. The unemployment rate for African American women aged 20 and over was 4.6 percent, up two-tenths of a percentage point from August but still near multi-decade lows.
In December of 1973, the unemployment rate for African American men briefly fell to 5.2 percent. A month later, however, it jumped up to 6.3 percent and headed steadily upward as the U.S. economy fell into recession.

The work week is ending with some good news for President Donald Trump, as more records were smashed in Friday's report on September unemployment.
For the 22nd time since Donald Trump took office, the number of employed Americans reached a record high last month, climbing 319,000 from August's record 157,878,000 to 158,269,000. At the same time, the number of unemployed Americans set a Trump-era low at 5,769,000.
Those two strong numbers pushed the nation's unemployment rate to 3.5 percent in September -- down two-tenths of a point from last month, and the lowest rate since December 1969.
President Trump hailed the good news on Twitter, with a twist:

Republicans and President Trump, eager to discredit the impeachment inquiry launched by House Democrats, may have found their weapon in Adam Schiff.
Schiff, a California Democrat who is chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, was tasked last month by Speaker Nancy Pelosi with leading the impeachment inquiry into the president's efforts to get foreign governments to investigate allegations against 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden.
But Schiff, 59, could be helping the GOP weaken the case for impeachment by making critical missteps that Republicans and Trump believe undermine the Democrats' case against the president.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) repeatedly has said she wants to be “fair” as House Democrats undertake their “impeachment inquiry,” but Democrats are falling short of fairness, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told Pelosi in an Oct. 3 letter.

You are not to be faulted if you think a formal inquest is under way and that legal process has been issued. The misimpression is completely understandable if you have been taking in media coverage — in particular, reporting on a haughty Sept. 27 letter from House Democrats, presuming to direct Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, on pain of citation for obstruction, to cooperate in their demands to depose State Department officials and review various records.
