Trey Gowdy: Adam Schiff now a 'fact
witness,' and GOP should call on him
to testify about whistleblower

Former Rep. Trey Gowdy said House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff has made himself a "fact witness" for how he dealt with a whistleblower whose complaint raised concerns about whether President Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate a political rival. The California Democrat is facing criticism for making misleading statements about what he knew of the whistleblower after it was revealed he learned details about the unnamed CIA official's complaint before it was formally filed and is creating doubt about whether he was the right choice to lead the Democrats' impeachment inquiry."How long is Speaker Pelosi going to put up with Adam mishandling this investigation?" Gowdy said Friday on Fox News.

I need a scoreboard, a spreadsheet and a program with glossy photographs to keep up with this Pseudo "Impeachment" performance. Most days I don't even try. I just look at the calendar and check a few times a week.

Say, let's get someone to contact Paul Ryan and suggest he counsel Nancy P. about what she should do about letting Schif-for-brains stay on as committee chairman. Schiff would be out tomorrow.........

Maybe these "whistleblowers" coming forth, will give all those "hero rank and file" FBI agents courage to also come forth. One can only hope. Maybe they will when their pensions are secure.

I don't think there are any "hero rank and file" FBI agents. They all know where the bread is buttered.

It is interesting how Trey Gowdy was never able to obtain resolution on all kinds of illegal activities by the Democrats when he was a member of the majority, but is now directing the Republicans as to how they should proceed.

A new poll showed that 57 percent of respondents support a Justice Department probe on former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden regarding their actions in Ukraine and China. Only 37 percent of respondents were against investigating them, according to the new poll by Investor’s Business Daily/TIPP, published on Friday. (Tweet) The poll showed that the recent headlines on Ukraine, surrounding President Donald Trump’s calls for the Bidens to be investigated and the Democrats’ push to impeach him over those calls, are having a negative impact on the former vice president. In an unusual move, Federal Judge Amy Berman Jackson on Thursday ordered the White House to preserve records of President Trump’s dealings with foreign leaders. Jackson, an Obama appointee, issued the order on Thursday and demanded the White House not destroy records of “meetings, phone calls, and other communications with foreign leaders.” Jackson’s order is in response to a lawsuit brought by radical left-wing watchdog group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. The order by Jackson appears to cover President Trump directly, although it doesn’t mention Trump by name, it covers all “defendants,” and President Trump is one of the two defendants named in the lawsuit —

NEW YORK— On Aug. 7, 1974, three top Republican leaders in Congress paid a solemn visit to President Richard Nixon at the White House, bearing the message that he faced near-certain impeachment due to eroding support in his own party on Capitol Hill. Nixon, who’d been entangled in the Watergate scandal for two years, announced his resignation the next day.Could a similar drama unfold in later stages of the impeachment process that Democrats have now initiated against President Donald Trump? It’s doubtful. In Nixon’s time, there were conservative Democrats and moderate Republicans. Compromise was not treated with scorn. In today’s highly polarized Washington, bipartisan agreement is a rarity.

It’s time for Hillary Clinton to come out of retirement, lace up the gloves and get back in the ring with President Trump for what would be the biggest political rematch ever. Call me crazy, but from what I’ve seen so far, Clinton is the only candidate short of Barack Obama who has the brains, the battle-tested brawn and the national presence to take out Trump. And Obama can’t run. Bernie Sanders was fading even before his heart started acting up. Joe Biden has become Trump’s main talking point in the whole Ukraine-China impeachment mess, which hardly helps him.

Beyond doubt, he has done unmatched and extraordinary things for Israel and has publicly spoken against anti-Semitism in the United Nations and repeatedly during his State of the Union addresses. The whole world has seen the priority Mr. Trump bestows on Israel and safety for Jews. Additionally, he and his father were tremendous friends and benefactors to Jews and Israel, much prior to his entering politics. To millions of shoppers, the supermarket is just a place to stock up on produce and pantry staples to keep the family fed. But to others, especially children of immigrants who may already feel pushed to the margins of the American mainstream, the supermarket can be just another place to experience the sting of their outsider status. The sting occurs whenever they walk down the “ethnic” food aisle, the section of the supermarket that, to some, plays out like a remnant of the Jim Crow era, when laws established separate facilities for African Americans in the post-Reconstruction South. Enough is enough. Every day — every few hours, seemingly — more evidence is uncovered revealing that President Trump is abusing the power of the presidency and is wholly unfit to be president. He is using the highest office in the land to advance his personal political interests instead of the national interest. The president’s most recent violation of the rule of law — openly calling for China to interfere in our elections, as he stood on the South Lawn of the White House — is so outrageous, it’s clear he considers the presidency a free pass to do whatever he wants, with no accountability.
