Trump and Republicans Insist on
House Vote to Launch
Formal Impeachment Inquiry

Original Article

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) repeatedly has said she wants to be “fair” as House Democrats undertake their “impeachment inquiry,” but Democrats are falling short of fairness, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told Pelosi in an Oct. 3 letter. “I am writing to request you suspend all efforts surrounding your ‘impeachment inquiry’ until transparent and equitable rules and procedures are established to govern the inquiry,” McCarthy wrote. McCarthy and other Republicans say Democrats are so hell-bent on impeaching Trump that they have charged ahead without a full House vote, which would set rules and procedures for a formal impeachment proceeding.

From Alinsky's 12 Rules - "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules." - Our Founders made Impeachment difficult, make sure they do everything to the letter. "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." - For every accusation they make against POTUS the WH needs to fire back against the accuser ten times harder by POTUS making trips to his/her District for fundraising of their opponent. Eventually, his critics will go quiet. "A good tactic is one your people enjoy." - This is where POTUS can go after Hellary by publicly asking her how many trips she made to Jeff Epstein's island, and what she was doing there, as she was well above the age of consent? "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag." - Even AOC finds this boring. The Gen X'ers are all about instant results. Drag it out with legal objections, and lawsuits against the Dems. "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." - The White House needs to go on the offensive by finding the biggest crook (Schiff) and destroying him. Highlight Schiff being the brother-in-law of George Soros' son. Start making Tweets about extraditing George Soros to Hungary or handing him over to Interpol.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Friday arrived in Greenville, South Carolina for a speech at a fundraiser hosted by the South Carolina Democratic Party. What Pelosi probably wasn't expecting though was the number of President Donald Trump's supporters who would be there to welcome her to the Palmetto State. (tweets) Even though South Carolinians are upset with the House's decision to move forward with a formal impeachment inquiry into President Trump, Pelosi reiterated her position during her fundraiser speech. “What we’re talking about here is not about personality, it’s not about policy differences — that’s to be taken up in the election,” Pelosi said.

President Donald Trump went after Republican Utah Sen. Mitt Romney on Twitter Saturday morning after Romney condemned the president’s call with Ukraine’s president. An August whistleblower complaint accused Trump of asking Ukrainian officials to look into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden during a July 25 phone call. The House of Representatives began a formal impeachment inquiry into the president in September following news of the phone call. Romney went after Trump on Twitter Friday, saying that asking foreign countries to look into Joe Biden is “wrong and appalling.” Trump tweeted Saturday morning and called Romney “a pompous ‘ass.'”

“Hundreds” of people who believed they were transgender want to return to their birth sex, according to the founder of Britain’s new Detransition Advocacy Network. 28-year-old Charlie Evans, who lived as a male for almost ten years after transitioning in her teens, told Sky News that she had been contacted by “hundreds” of trans people who, like her, came to regret their decision. “I’m in communication with 19 and 20-year-olds who have had full gender reassignment surgery who wish they hadn’t, and their dysphoria hasn’t been relieved, they don’t feel better for it,” she told the broadcaster. “They don’t know what their options are now.”  Source corrected

A British employment tribunal has ruled that a Christian doctor’s biblical understanding of sexuality and lack of belief in transgenderism is “incompatible with human dignity.” After being fired from his job in 2018 for refusing to use pronouns that do not correspond to a person’s biological sex, disability assessor Dr David Mackereth filed a complaint against the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) for harassment and discrimination under the Equality Act. In its decision this week, the panel declared that Dr Mackereth’s biblical belief that “God made humans male or female” was “incompatible with human dignity”. A slew of left-wing Hollywood actors — including Alyssa Milano and Debra Messing — have joined forces with the Democratic Coalition’s “Impeachment Task Force,” which is designed to further the Democrat-led Trump impeachment effort with aggressive messaging on social media. Democrats across the board — in both Hollywood and Washington DC — have been attempting to sway the general public to respond more positively to the partisan impeachment inquiry, spurred by a complaint from a “whistleblower” who was later revealed to be a registered Democrat. Desperate to get skeptical voters on board and protect vulnerable Democrats in swing districts,

If we expect to create a prosperous future fueled by low-cost, clean energy, it’s time to recalibrate the way we think about renewables. That requires us to move beyond the once cutting-edge view that solar power is a key ingredient in lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Ironically, a frequent target of environmentalists, Duke Energy, is showing us that’s not the case. In fact, Duke documents show the negative impact of deploying solar power on the electric grid. One way the Democrats could fulfill their dream of crippling President Trump (as opposed to simply running him out of office) would be to stampede the Republicans, to send them running wild-eyed for shelter from shouted accusations and piercing rays of adverse publicity. There is no shortage of weak-spined GOP officeholders, and it has happened many times before. The Dems had no reason to doubt that it would happen again. But it’s not happening. And that is exactly what America needs right now.” Now, I realize the Trump-obsessed Scarborough is attempting to juxtapose the former president with the present one. But the canonization of Carter has always been transparent revisionism. Habitat for Humanity or not, the world would have been a far better place had Carter retired from the world stage after his presidency.

It’s becoming clearer that Nancy Pelosi’s half-clever ploy of unilaterally declaring that an impeachment “inquiry” was in progress is backfiring in a big way. At first, it seemed that this was a smart move – by simply stating an inquiry was in motion without going through the necessary formalities such as a full House vote, Pelosi was calming the crazies of her caucus (such as the Squad), while leaving herself plenty of maneuvering room to divert or back out should things start to deteriorate.

It's always useful to know what a campaign is like, the lay of the land, so to speak, the supporters, the campaign operation, the candidate herself. Here in San Diego, Elizabeth Warren paid a visit Thursday, so I went, taking my elderly mother, blending into the crowd to learn how things looked from the Democrat side. The most obvious takeaway is that Warren is rising. Based on her own energetic appearance and stump speech, she's now begun campaigning as if she's got the Democratic nomination in the bag, and she's now attempting to move to the center. That signals a swift campaign response to the de facto collapses of her
