We need to go back to voting on Election Day only, in person, with overseas military and other government personnel being the only ones to use absentee ballots. And we need to use that purple ink. If it’s good enough for Iraqis, it’s good enough for us.

#17 is right (among others). Try to remember how excited you were the day you cast your first vote in a presidential election. Additionally, at many places of business all over the country, on national Election Day, employees are allowed to clock in one hour late or clock out 1 hour early to GO VOTE! You get no such option for voting early. As for Sherikia, she is one native who probably will not wander off the racial plantation as long as it pays so well for her.

A Democrat clerk was also convicted in Texas for multiple voting. The Democrats have not allowed checking the voter returns against the voter registration database. The whole system is filled with fraud. When Democrats count the votes, Democrats win. And when the Democrats don't count the votes, uncounted votes appear.

Ukraine furor makes Hunter Biden the
political liability Democrats long feared

Joe Biden has never been shy about using his family as a campaign asset. But escalation of the scandal surrounding work by the former vice president's son Hunter Biden with a Ukrainian gas company might once again turn into the liability that many Democrats have long feared. Jobs held by Hunter Biden, 49, have complicated the political life of his father going back at least to 2008, when the then-Delaware senator was chosen as running mate for Democratic presidential nominee-to-be Barack Obama. Campaign officials were forced to address questions over Hunter Biden having been hired by credit card company MBNA for consulting work, earning him a $100,000 annual retainer.

The now-released transcript of President Trump’s July phone call with Ukraine’s prez, Volodymyr Zelensky, shows just why Americans have so little faith in the news media. Turns out, the document shows none of the Trump abuses suggested in press accounts over the past few days — distortions that have already triggered Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “official impeachment inquiry.” Reports claimed Trump made a “promise” to “a foreign leader that was so disturbing it prompted the filing of a formal complaint,” as Vanity Fair reported.

The Trump administration reached a deal with the government of Honduras to enhance the Central American nation’s asylum capacity. The agreement, signed Wednesday, is similar to agreements previously reached with the governments of El Salvador and Guatemala, a senior Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official told reporters on a phone call. The official said migrants who had an opportunity to seek protection in Honduras, El Salvador or Guatemala will be returned from the U.S. border to seek asylum or protection in one of those countries under the recent agreements, including the new Honduras accord.

Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire is expected to face questions before the House and Senate Intelligence committees on Thursday about his handling of a whistleblower complaint that prompted House Democrats to launch a formal impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump. Maguire did not transmit the complaint -- centered on comments made by Trump to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in a July phone call -- to Congress until Wednesday, though the Intelligence Community Inspector General considered it "credible" and of "urgent concern," requiring reporting to Congress. But the acting director of national intelligence and the Justice Department blocked the inspector general

Who runs Britain? When Boris Johnson’s lawyers made their case in front of the Supreme Court this week, defending his right to prorogue parliament, they in effect brought it back to this simple question. This was a controversy for politicians to settle, not courts. Judges, they said, should think twice about ‘entering the political arena’ and unsettling the UK’s ‘careful constitutional and political balance’. He may be the first prime minister to frame the matter so starkly, but no previous prime minister has had to. This is about far more than Brexit. Britain is witnessing political litigation on a hitherto unseen scale. We have a government

By announcing that the impeachment inquiry is now “official,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi gave the nation (or at least the national media) loads of drama Tuesday evening — but without actually doing anything. House Judiciary chief Jerry Nadler has already been calling his committee’s work an “official” impeachment inquiry, after all; now the speaker says the same. But she’s still not allowing any actual votes on the House floor about it. All she’s “done” is instruct six committee chairmen, including Nadler, to pull together all the dirt they’ve got.
