Former Vice President Joe Biden claimed he never discussed Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine. However, a July article from The New Yorker belies that contention. “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” Biden told Fox News reporter Peter Doocy on Saturday in Iowa before calling on President Donald Trump to be investigated over a phone call he made to Ukraine’s president. The New Yorker article, titled “Will Hunter Biden Jeopardize His Father’s Campaign?”

#2's reference to Biden's blackmail against Ukraine can be seen on Dan Bongino's Youtube channel. Video of Biden proudly telling people how he would withhold loan guarantees unless the prosecutor investigating his son was fired. If you don't want to watch the whole video, start at about minute 17:00 for the setup.

I think Joe knew quite a lot about his son, and is not being sincere. After all, his son flew with him. There were articles in the paper about it. And Biden Jr was as honest as his father. Joe knew about and approved of all of it. Why wouldn't he? John Kerry's boy was doing it. Hillary, Bill and Chelsea were getting rich doing it. Al Gore was doing it. Pelosi and Feinstein's husbands were doing it. Hary Reed was getting rich on his land scams. Why would Joe not want to get in on it?

Simple question that nobody is asking: If it was not to protect his son, then what was the reason that Joe demanded Shokin be fired?

Joe Biden’s now famous run-in with notorious gangster “Corn Pop” was a scene right out of West Side Story, The Outsiders, or some other overrated movie that hasn’t aged well. Speaking of things not aging well, Biden’s brain is not having a good decade. From his claims of intimate involvement with the civil rights movement to his opposition to the Iraq War from its start, Joe is very creative with his own history. In that vein, I thought I’d help him by clarifying a few parts of his biography before he makes the mistake of thinking these things happened to him. Biden did not team up with his dance partners

The attorney for retired Army Gen. Michael Flynn is refusing to let the former national security adviser testify before Rep. Adam Schiff, saying the California Democrat disregards “ethics in your theatrical demand.” Attorney Sidney Powell said Monday in a letter that Flynn is invoking his rights under the Fifth Amendment to avoid being “paraded, harassed or disparaged” by Democrats on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Mr. Schiff, who took committee control in January, has launched an investigation into nearly every aspect of President Trump’s life. Mr. Schiff was a big proponent of the Democratic Party-financed dossier sourced to the Kremlin. The dossier’s charges of Trump election conspiracy proved unfounded.

While in Iowa last week, former Vice President Joe Biden refused to explain in a video interview why Iowans should bother voting for him if they are experiencing a booming economy. During an interview Friday with Denise Hnytka, a news anchor for local news station WQAD, Biden said “I’m not going to,” when asked to make his case on why Iowa voters should vote for him over President Donald Trump given the president’s record on the economy. “In Iowa, the unemployment rate is 2.5% — people say they are employed in Iowa and their small businesses are growing,” a reporter said to Biden.

A foreign natural gas company brings a top US politician’s son onto its board, even though he has no relevant expertise, for $50,000 a month. The politician travels to that country and demands the removal of a prosecutor who’s investigating the company. That prosecutor then gets axed, and the investigation shut down. Imagine the son was Eric Trump, and the politician Donald Trump. Would the media be dismissing it as nothing worth looking at, a “debunked” issue? Yes, Ukraine’s chief prosecutor declared in May that he’d seen no evidence of wrongdoing by Joe or Hunter Biden. (Of course not: Again, the investigation got closed years ago.)

Nobody is going to hold Donald Trump accountable for his alleged Ukrainian shenanigans because—as we’ve seen in his career and the first 32 months of his presidency—he’s too good at deflecting investigators, irate Democrats and pesky reporters. To begin with, Trump suffers no shame when confronted with the outrages of his personal, professional and political lives. A normal fellow would blush crimson if caught paying a porn actress hush money after purportedly having sex with her. He’d cringe if confronted with the lascivious things he’d repeatedly said about his eldest daughter. He’d wear a mask to avoid being recognized if 17 women had accused him of sexual misbehavior.

Year-old texts contained in a Senate Judiciary Committee report show that New York Times reporter Robin Pogrebin engaged in questionable journalistic tactics to shape a false narrative against Kavanaugh by telling a source what to say and by asking sources to confirm information she herself had given them. And despite including a highly opinionated discussion of the text exchange in their book, the authors never admitted that Pogrebin was a key player in the exchanges. Pogrebin made a bizarre and unsupported claim this week that Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh had told her to lie. It turned out Pogrebin had mischaracterized discussions with the Supreme Court’s public information officer, not Kavanaugh,

A dramatic video recorded at a Bronx subway station Monday morning showed a man rescuing a 5-year-old girl from beneath a train. The girl can be seen crawling out from under a southbound No. 4 train at the Kingsbridge Road station before the man grabs her and hoists her onto the side platform. A woman off-camera can be heard shouting, “Little by little, my love, little by little!” in between sobs. A crowd can be seen trying to console the girl after she’s on the platform. Authorities say the girl’s 45-year-old father jumped in front of an oncoming train moments earlier with the girl in his arms.

On July 25, President Trump had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. During that conversation Trump repeatedly asked or demanded that Ukraine investigate the possible corruption that may have occurred while former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter was a member of the board of directors of a Ukrainian energy company. About a month later, an employee of one of our intelligence agencies made a classified complaint to the intelligence community’s inspector general Michael Atkinson — the specific allegations aren’t yet disclosed — that Trump had violated the law or abused his powers in that conversation. "Democrats say we have guns in America because of 'corruption,'" former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders declared on Twitter on Sept. 12. "No, we have guns because it's our God-given right enshrined in the Constitution." (Snip) The second part of that tweet is silly; God didn't give people the right to own AR-15s any more than a divine entity gave Americans the right to own automobiles without seat belts. The first part of Sanders’ tweet, though, is mostly accurate. The National Rifle Association's money doesn't corrupt Republican legislators. Instead, Republicans oppose gun control because conservative political identity is today inseparable from guns. Identity is a deeper motivator

Emmys, it’s time to check yourself before you wreck yourself. The early numbers are telling us the 2019 Emmy Award telecast was a flop, down 22 percent from last year’s discouraging 10.2 million, which is less than what a weekly episode of “NCIS” garnered in its 16th season. Various production choices — no host (unless you count Homer Simpson), crummy disco music, a puerile announcer — are partly to blame. But the main problem is the award itself. The Emmys don’t mean much to the American public because last night’s big winners — “Game of Thrones,” “Fleabag” and “Chernobyl” — are done, off the air, out of production, kaput.

The probe centers on whether Trump abused his presidential powers and sought help from a foreign government to undermine Democratic foe Joe Biden and help his own reelection. Pelosi said such actions would mark a “betrayal of his oath of office” and declared: “No one is above the law.”
