Wrong Again: 50 Years of
Failed Eco-pocalyptic Predictions

Original Article

Modern doomsayers have been predicting climate and environmental disaster since the 1960s. They continue to do so today. None of the apocalyptic predictions with due dates as of today have come true. What follows is a collection of notably wild predictions from notable people in government and science.

Comments:

Included in the report are actual article after article of BS predictions meant to sell newspapers, increase government control and fuel a now self supporting global warming/cooling industry. It's important for people to actually read this, to look at the one article after another, listed together, just to get a feel for the most massive century-long hoax every inflicted on the US. And that our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are being brainwashed into preaching this to one another is actually abusive. Children of the 1950's and 1960's had a real threat from nuclear war, but now children are being taught that this hoax is just as real a threat. Again, it's abusive and must be stood up to by thinking adults.

These climate doomsayers remind me of the Jehovah's Witnesses who called for the end of the world numerous times from, I believe, 1917 on until they finally decided about 20 years ago that it wasn't going to happen according to their timetable. They came up with some cockamamie reason. So will these people.

WHY would anyone listen to these people who cannot get these things right? Now they have decided that their problem is that they aren't doing PR right. They aren't concerned that their "science" is continually wrong and perhaps humbled that they are dealing with something complex beyond their ability to capture it. Maybe when they have ACCURATELY predicted climate for 50 years or so, we will give them a listen.

Thank you for the post. I'm saving it and will print it out for climate alarmists as necessary. I doubt it will do any good though. They're really stupid.

The dems old worn out script is such a joke after all of these years of repetition. Yet they drag it out again & again. Only the youths who aren't old enough to have heard their redundant schtick before could fall for their many many lies, ...along with the political lefty subversives who hatch these deceptive plots.

A decade ago, I was experimenting with an “old” genre of journalism. It was a merger of Andy Bichlbaum’s agitprop street theater group “The Yes Men,” meets Mike Wallace meets Borat. After combining ideas from Tom Wolfe’s “Mau Mauing the Flak Catchers,” Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, and studying Hunter S. Thompson’s work, I was inspired to change the world. This strange brew of inputs ultimately lead me to undercover investigative journalism.  Author corrected.

GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski said she was troubled to hear Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promise "total coordination" between himself and the White House regarding President Trump's impeachment trial. McConnell, 77, of Kentucky, made the comment about his plan to work with the White House, which sparked fierce outrage among Democrats, during an appearance on Hannity earlier this month.

Congressional Democrats who fear Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham may be conducting a partisan investigation into the origins of the FBI’s probe into Russian meddling in U.S. elections are calling on him to resign. Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., has written Attorney General William Barr and Durham, saying “neither of you possess the integrity necessary to serve in the Department of Justice.” Signed by 10 of Johnson’s House Democratic colleagues — but none from Connecticut — the letter’s demand for Barr’s resignation is not unique. In May, for instance, Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal said Barr should “probably resign” because,

Late Senator John McCain provided disgraced former FBI chief James Comey with five separate reports from Christopher Steele that the FBI didn’t previously possess related to unsubstantiated allegations of collusion between Russia and President Trump’s 2016 campaign, the Justice Department’s recent Inspector General report revealed. There have long been questions about why it was necessary for McCain to pass Steele’s anti-Trump dossier to Comey on December 9, 2016, several weeks after the November 2016 presidential election. By then, Steele had already met numerous times with FBI agents to provide them with his controversial reports.

MSNBC anchor Chuck Todd is facing criticism over a recent interview in which he confused author Toni Morrison and poet Maya Angelou. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Todd spoke about the spread of "disinformation" and was asked if he was "surprised" by the Trump administration's willingness to "spread disinformation." "I fully admit, listening to you ask that question now, and me giving you the honest answer of, yeah, I guess I really believed they wouldn’t do this. Just so absurdly naive in hindsight," Todd responded. "Donald Trump’s entire life has been spent using misinformation.

Pete Buttigieg has tried to carve out a niche among Democratic presidential hopefuls as the candidate who is comfortable talking about religion. Unfortunately, he’s only comfortable trying to use religion as a means of beating conservatives, especially religious ones, over the head. This annoying penchant was on display again in Buttigieg’s Christmas message. He tweeted: Today I join millions around the world in celebrating the arrival of divinity on earth, who came into this world not in riches but in poverty, not as a citizen but as a refugee. No matter where or how we celebrate, merry Christmas. Buttigieg’s message struck me as fake history.

On CNN on Wednesday, Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) said the chaos and “spreading fear and hatred” by Republicans through the impeachment process was threatening our democracy. Anchor Brianna Keilar said, “The Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said his plan for House Republican impeachment managers is John Ratcliffe, Jim Jordan and Doug Collins, who really led some of the vociferous opposition that came from Republicans during the impeachment.” Dingell said, “Yes, they did.”

Like his deeply flawed coverage of the 1996 Olympic bombing, Tom Brokaw’s so-called apology this week to the late Richard Jewell leaves much to be desired. The NBC News special correspondent this week said in the first of two nearly unintelligible tweets: “re richard jewell. 24 hours after the bombing i talked at length with a sr fbi official - who did not wave me off jewel as a suspect. i reported that and speculated why. but my last line was for now he’s just a person of interest. when the truth emerged i apologized.” Brokaw added in the second tweet, “nbc made a substantial $ payment to the family

So I haven’t posted a tweet in nine months. How am I doing? I’m still in recovery. Over the previous 10 years, I had written 180,000 tweets. Yes, I said 180,000. That’s 18,000 a year, 1,500 a month. I was putting out an average of 50 tweets a day — while holding down a full-time job editing a magazine, with two firm writing deadlines every week, and raising three children with a wife who works full-time. How was that even possible? Well, I’ve always written fast. And for much of my life, I’ve felt like a frustrated would-be stand-up comic.

A wild brawl erupted at an upstate New York mall on Christmas Eve, with the fighters wreaking havoc in The Beef Jerky Outlet. In a viral clip posted to Twitter at least 10 people battle each other in the melee at Albany’s Crossgates Mall. A number of combatants appear to single out one person, throwing punches and forcing them into a wall, knocking down display items in the process. One person in the video can be heard shouting, “Out of the store, out of the store!” Towards the end of the footage, the fight moves to the front of the store. Amid the mayhem,

With the help of Senate Republicans, Donald Trump spent the first three years of his presidency remaking the federal judiciary in his own image. The president has appointed 133 district court judges, 50 appeals court judges, and two Supreme Court justices—meaning about one-fifth of the nation’s federal trial judges, and one-fourth of its federal appellate judges, are Trump appointees. These jurists are leading a conservative revolution that will upend decades of precedent and enshrine reactionary policies into the law. The transformation has only just begun.

The year in movies was like the ultimate Mom Facebook Page. So many reunions. So many updates on friends from long ago, so many surprising next chapters in so many lives — and so many heartfelt goodbyes to loved ones who passed away. From “Avengers: Endgame” to “Toy Story 4,” from “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” to “Mary Poppins Returns,” from “Frozen II” to “It Chapter Two,” from the “Downton Abbey” movie to “John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum,” from “Terminator: Dark Fate” to “Rambo: Last Blood” to “Glass” — the 2019 BSU (Big Screen Universe) was dominated by sequels and reboots and spinoffs and curtain calls.
