The other day I came across a picture of Joseph Bambera as a seminarian (below). About Bambera, the bishop of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Church insiders whisper that he may succeed the soon-to-retire Archbishop Charles Chaput in Philadelphia. Should that happen, Bambera in all likelihood will become a cardinal, owing to his friendly ties with the circle of gay mafia prelates around Pope Francis. Bambera is famous for repeatedly inviting Fr. James Martin, the leading propagandist for LGBT causes in the Church, to speak in the Scranton diocese.

I think we can add Satan to the circle of gay mafia prelates around Pope Francis?

The article must be read in full to realize how deep and rampant the sick corruption is in the Church structure and hierarchy. We Catholics are still being deceived and rolled. With the current pope at the helm, things will only get worse.
I have long ago stopped using the "second collection" envelopes. Most recently, the envelope for support of Catholic Univ quickly hit the recycling bin. Interesting that that "venerable" institution is mentioned in the article. I contribute to my local parish, run by a holy and honorable man. Buzzwords in and themes of his sermons tell me he is the real deal, not a SJW in a collar. Jesus, please take the wheel.

the root of the problem is the absolute lunacy of the laity - do these people even have a pulse? - the hierarchy simply cannot find
a shovel beg enough to feed their flock their crap

This is horrifying. I read a couple of the articles linked to this one and it is like a giant Hydra. You cut off one head but two grow to take its place. The corruption just spreads.
The Catholic Church on paper observes conservative values. Too bad the hierarchy will not sacrifice quantities of priests and higher church officials to get quality. They need to start from scratch and vet seminary candidates to root out the ones who are there to meet other homosexuals. The Church is like a tree that is rotting from the inside out.

The Catholic Church is in trouble. If they continue to go down this path the Church will either split or simply fade away.

The only way that Catholics can get their church back on the right track (if it was ever there) is to withdraw financial support and voice their opposition to the homosexuals. Pope Frank performed one good deed in his career, bringing all of this corruption into the open, even if it was not deliberately. My childhood Catholic priest was a drunk and lived higher on the hog than his parishioners but he was straight as far as I know. Still not your best role model.

I suggest that keeping Anderson on the tribunal has a lot to do with the desperate effort to deal with a rapidly downsizing organization. In most U.S. dioceses retiring priests far outnumber new ordinations each year, and the shrinking staffs gradually pressure personnel boards to retain individuals that would have been unceremoniously shown the door if there were enough others to fill the gaps. Even where the hierarchy isn't naturally predisposed to advocating gay clergy, they are accepted in hopes of filling job positions where better-suited candidates are lacking.
Corruption in some places, compromise in others, coverups in still others ... it's a sort of cluster-f that only the most brilliant and scrupulous sort of executive could avoid. The Church went through worse scandals during the Renaissance period; but it didn't have to contend with social media mobs back then (and the news media in general weren't so monolithic in their anti-religious leanings as today).

I have listened to many of Malachi Martin presentations on You Tube (so great), and he indicated years ago that this collapse of the Catholic Church (not totally, just exposing the rot to get rid of it and get new life with the faithful priests who are left) is being allowed by God and - as a Catholic, I applaud it. You can't correct a problem until you know one exists.
Our Lady of Fatima predicted this diabolic disorientation coming into the hierarchy of the church one hundred years ago, and it could have been nipped in the bud if only the Popes and bishops in the past years did what she told them to do, but ego got in the way again. Anyway, the Triumph of The Immaculate Heart of Mary is coming. Soon, I hope.
I see such a parallel between the corruption in our government and the corruption going on with some in the upper levels of the Catholic Church. Of course, it's probably because so many of our hierarchy are more like politicians than prelates anyway.

As a Protestant, I really have no standing to say anything but I see no way out except for the Church to split and the new church to allow married priests. The rot in the hierarchy is so widespread that I am afraid it can never be excised...certainly not by the current cabal of Cardinals and Bishops.
