Washington - Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said Saturday she's "alive" and on her way to being "very well" following radiation treatment for cancer.
Ginsburg, 86, made the comments at the Library of Congress National Book Festival in Washington. The event came a little over a week after Ginsburg disclosed that she had completed three weeks of outpatient radiation therapy for a cancerous tumor on her pancreas and is now disease-free.
It is the fourth time over the past two decades that Ginsburg, the leader of the court's liberal wing, has been treated for cancer.

She'll be alright as long as she stays away from sunlight, garlic, crucifixes, and wooden stakes.

She is a mavel of human life. She lives and thieves even though she has more cancer in her body than the entire state of Vermont. She is so Democrat. Lying all the way.

I think the cancer has metastasized to Ruthie's brain.

She is either quite the optimist or, with an apology for sounding like a crepe-hanger, she might mean that she is terminal and on her way to heaven where there is no illness, no pain, no suffering.

If she really cared about America, and not her Democrat socialist party, she would step down. Shameful behavior and true TDS. She is part of a liberal wing of the court that caucuses on all issues so they can work in lock-step against the constitution.

May she is recovering. If so, good for her. But 2 cancer episodes in 8 months at the age of 86 is nothing to brag about. I've know people battling cancer who didn't look so bad when we met them. Then a week later we're at their funeral.

When you are 86 and have multiple cancer episodes, you are not on your way to well.

If you have a chronic illness in your 80's, it's eventually going to limit your life-span. There's no doubt about it. The best you can do is manage your illness with care and, if needed, limited medication. Excessive medication can be counter-productive. Ruth Ginsburg needs to stay optimistic as do many who are in their 80's and have a chronic illness.

Hubris is a very bad thing, Ruthie. Never ever tell the gods what tomorrow will bring, you are merely a mortal subject to the whims of life and death. Don't ever presume that you know what the future looks like.

If you're just an ordinary citizen, procedures are denied as too expensive or not covered by BarryCare. However, if you're Ruthie, no expense is spared because she's an elite, entitled, and special cog to the Communist cabal.

Good grief, this sickly crone is within striking distance of 90. Airline pilots have a mandatory retirement age, and they don't cast opinions on how our lives are run. Term limits and no lifetime appointments!
