Mark Harmon has scored on the football field and in life, playing QB at UCLA, hanging out with Ozzie and Harriet, starring in a record 17 seasons of NCIS and raising a family in Hollywood. Football was a star in Mark Harmon’s life from the very beginning. One of his earliest memories is watching a film highlight reel of his dad, Heisman-winner Tom Harmon, scoring 33 touchdowns playing college football for the University of Michigan.

My DH is an NCIS fan. I have always thought Harmon to be a little weird… Don’t ask me why. Just a feeling.

Love NCIS. Good cast. The actors arent the characters, but boy their characters are something else.

He doesn't just play a hero on tv, he's one in real life:

I love NCIS, but I don't like the way he kisses his favorite goth lab tech, Abby. I hope men who admire Gibbs don't think that is appropriate in the work place!

I used to love NCIS but quit watching when it got too PC. A couple of seasons ago there were back to back episodes about the poor illegals in DC and then the innocent Muslims in Gitmo. And then Tony left. That was the end of it for me. Also, Harmon is a big gun control advocate even though he makes his living firing weapons in almost every episode.

Kind of agree with poster #5. For me it was figuring out who the bad 'guy' was in the first 10 minutes. If there was a current or retired military officer, a businessman, a minister/priest (except of course a muslim) or anyone who said anything conservative, they were the murderer.

Sorry, can someone clue me on what #1's DH means? #4, it's eerie that you would say that because the gal who played Abby has apparently made veiled accusations that Harmon was inappropriate with her on set. I find that hard to believe and hope it isn't true, for both their sakes.

In other news, there is apparently still a Parade Magazine.

I can't believe I never knew Mark Harmon was married to Pam Dawber. Where have I been? Or maybe they've been really good at staying out of the press.

Maybe if actors kept their personal lives separate, we would like all of them better. Sorry to hear Abby had problems on the set.
Jose Ferrer was mentioned. Only person who ever said "Do you know who I am ?" to me. Putz.

I used to have very positive thoughts about Mark Harmon. They are long gone.

My Mother and Harriet Nelson were 1st cousins. I guess that means that Mark and I are related by marriage.
Think I'll keep that under wraps, would want to hurt his status in Hollyweird. Especially since I'n to the right of Attila the Hun. It ain't important, but kinds cool.
