Another Supreme Court term has ended, and once again the court failed to revisit the question of abortion. In our time, it seems that abortion is discussed everywhere except the Supreme Court, where most Justices seem intent to do anything to avoid the topic. And still, each passing term the stain of Roe v. Wade seeps deeper, corroding our system of laws from within.
But one Justice is unafraid of the abortion debate. Undismayed by the Court’s inaction, Justice Thomas has masterfully sown together a compelling judicial case for overturning the central holding of Roe.
With Ms Ginsburg find, Roe v Wade would be history... Let each state decide, without Federal Tax Dollars paying for them!

One more reason to love Justice Thomas. I hope that he stays on the court until he succeeds with ending Roe v Wade.
I also hope that Blackmun is enjoying his seat next to Ted Kennedy in the Lake of Fire.

“Nearly 50 years after Roe, Justice Clarence Thomas is our best hope for restoring the Supreme Court to the interpretation of law — and our nation to the inalienable right to life.”
Justice Thomas and our daily prayers to the Almighty... Amen.

fta: " through its Equal Protection Clause, the Constitution restricts state attempts to discriminate on the basis of race, sex or disability; yet, in furtherance of abortion, states must allow eugenic targeting of those same protected classes." And they do target them. Planned Parenthood set up a clinic near African-American highschools in DC, a clinic with 36 sinks if I remember right. Planned Parenthood was founded to change US demography and they are hard at work at it still. AOC has so many fancy ideas but the right to life itself? She dares not re-think. Planned Parenthood tries to make itself popular by teaching kids they are allowed to do anything with their genitalia. Oh, except give birth. Young black men DO know what is happening but they do not find leadership to give their ideas traction. Godspeed, Clarence Thomas.

A note of caution to the esteemed Justice Thomas, don't take any hunting trips with dimocrat donors in Texas. You may find a pillow covering your face.

FTA: "...the Constitution is the highest authority of all, the 'fundamental law' of the land.... The Framers understood the need to have a reliable arbiter of this fundamental law. Therefore, the Constitution creates an independent judiciary with a single highest authority, the Supreme Court...."
Starting at the top: 1. I don't like the characterization of our Constitution as a "fundamental law." Laws are subject to interpretation by courts, judges, and lawyers. The Constitution is not a law. It was a political agreement between free people and their respective States to decide how they would be governed. It was not ratified by courts, nor was it intended to be interpreted by them. It was intended to govern them.
2. The Framers understood no such thing. The men who wrote the Constitution and ratified it would neither understand nor tolerate the power that this supreme court has arrogated to itself. The supreme court has no constitutional power to decide what the Constitution means. The "reliable arbiter" of the Constitution is the American people via the Constitutionally-provided mechanisms of impeachment, elections, and constitutional amendment. So-called "judicial review" by the courts is nonsense created by Marbury v. Madison and entrenched by judicial precedent. It is a power that court has granted to itself, not one that the Constitution establishes.
3. The Constitution requires the creation of a judicial branch with a supreme court, but Congress actually created them. This is not a small distinction. Congress created the supreme court and the federal court system via a series of legislative acts. Congress can, and has, changed the composition of the supreme court several times since it was first created. Congress could restructure this supreme court tomorrow by simple majority vote, and if the President signs it, this current version of the court would be gone.
Personally, I'd prefer a supreme court that lived within its original constitutional jurisdiction instead of rewriting it.

Justice Thomas has been laying the legal groundwork for overturning Roe and doing it under the radar of his fellow "progressive" judges. The Left, in its hubris, believes that abortion is settled law. I know a liberal woman who was shocked to learn that abortion "was even an issue." Thomas now has a compatriot in the White House. President Trump is the greatest and most outspoken Pro-Life leader we have ever had sitting behind the Resolute desk. He always speaks of the Right to Life at all his rallies and in many formal speeches, including the State of the Union. I firmly believe Roe will be overturned in Trump's second term after Amy Bryant takes her seat on the court.

How can you claim to uphold "human rights" if you don't even know what a "human being" is?
Many, many regimes have tried to divide the human race into two classes: one with rights, and one without. This was done to evict thousands or millions out of the definition of humanity. Could be Jews, Could be Blacks, Could be any disfavored class.
The only solution that makes logical sense is to say that human rights begin when human life begins. And everyone knows when Day One is. Everybody's life began at that same Day One. Google
Day One Human Fertilization video
and you can see it happen.
Anybody who does not know this, is not smart enough to be a doctor --- or a Supreme Court justice.

I agree that Justice Thomas should be the Chief Justice; he has a clear eye and he won't be compromised.
Also, I read that any country that promotes and protects life will be blessed. Our country could use a few new blessings, and I don't mean the stock market.

Roberts, would you mind stepping aside, please? And let's make Justice Thomas CJ? Meanwhile, hoping that Ruthie keels over in time for the President to present another nomination to the Senate.

May God Bless and protect Justice Thomas. I fear if he gets too close to succeeding he may get the "Scalia" treatment.
