Home Depot shoppers have been threatening to boycott the store after its co-founder, Bernie Marcus, revealed in a recent interview that he’d be donating to President Trump’s re-election bid. “Never shopping @HomeDepot again,” wrote one Twitter user. “Cutting up my card,” another said. Marcus, who retired from Home Depot in 2002, has been a vocal Trump supporter in the past — despite not always agreeing with him. “He’s got a businessman’s common sense approach to most things,” Marcus told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in a recent interview, which has been making the rounds on social media.

HD shouoldn't worry much. Most liberals don't know which end of a butter knife to use to hang a picture. Anytime of day there are dozens of contractors in my nearby HD because business is booming for them.

Not in Georgia, HD is their home base -and not much boycotting will happen in the South, just like Chick-a-file, their politics or religion is not why people buy their product. Has this every worked?

I make it a POINT to go to HD first BECAUSE the founder is a really good guy and Trump supporter. My bet is that of folks who actually do home maintenace, a far higher percentage support the President than do not. The whiner class can't tell a phillips screwdriver from a centerpunch, and the only thing they might do in a HD is buy sum tile and ask for a contractor to install it.

Word is spreading worldwide, even to sub-Saharan Africa, that the US has an open southern border and an open checkbook. This summer, thousands of Africans from Cameroon, Congo and other violence-plagued countries are forming caravans, preparing to cross our southern border, according to Customs and Border Protection reports. Border agents from the Del Rio area of Texas sounded the alarm on May 31 about a group of 116 African migrants. The agents provided photos of women with babies strapped to their backs and young men in T-shirts and gym shorts sitting on the US side of the Rio Grande, waiting to be arrested.

Biracial rapper Tiny Jag was so “enraged” she publicly withdrew from performing, and ticketing website Eventbrite threatened to bar the festival from its services, according to the Independent.

As contrived for the apparent purpose of embarrassing Joe Biden, Kamala Harris’ handwringer over racial-balance busing duly titillated the media. Who could suppose there was anything wrong with shipping children miles from their homes to satisfy what a federal judge said was the moral necessity of achieving a classroom mixture of black faces and white faces? And Biden had fought it at the federal level? The Homeric narrative thus organized itself around Sen. Harris’ account of “a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools, and she was bused to school every day. And that little girl was me.”

The unanimous vote directs staff at George Washington High School to develop a project that would remove the 1936 mural by Victor Arnautoff from public view by either painting over it or using solid panels to cover it. Because the mural is painted directly onto the building’s walls, the mural must be covered and cannot be removed.
