A Democratic candidate for Florida’s House reportedly has ended her campaign after being challenged on her detailed and graphic claims she treated victims of the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting. “I personally removed 77 bullets from 32 people … It was like an assembly line,” candidate Elizabeth McCarthy had claimed at a gun safety event earlier this year. But FloridaPolitics.com published a report earlier this month challenging her claims she worked as a cardiologist at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Not enough chlorine in the Democrat gene pool. Vietnam vet, landing under fire, Native American, now a cardiologist who removed bullets from Pulse victims. When I grow up, I want to run for Congress as the first man on the moon.

It has become painfully obvious that leftists are incapable of learning from their mistakes. McCarthy should have learned something from the Fauxcahontas DNA debacle. IOW, don’t lie. The internet will find the truth about you.

Really? How could anyone imagine that they could claim that they were a cardiologist who assisted in treating the victims of a fairly recent incident, ever imagine that she would NOT be found out? How delusional do you have to be? Then again, Dems are always believed no matter how outrageous the claim. It took another entity to dig up the truth?

Just an observation from my military medic days. When someone is shot, you stablize first, before surgical removal of the bullet is done. (If it has hit an artery, you do both at once.) She made up a story, twice over, but so did Gillum, and so did Stacey Abrams. It seems to work more often than not. Proof of that is the stolen valor Senator, Tom Harkin, as well as stolen valor Senator Blumenthal.

The shooter was using an AR-15 rifle. Most of the ammunition used for those is military specification, and has bullets which the great majority of the time will penetrate all the way through and exit unless it hits a bone. So even with 77 wounds, it is extremely unlikely that there were that many bullets still inside of people. Way too much time watching old westerns where 'digging out the bullet' was a critical (and equally phony then) plot device. Most rifle bullets will penetrate completely in and out. Handguns, maybe 50-50 because they are much less powerful. The key point for medical professionals in emergencies such as in that situation is to stop bleeding to save a life, as #12 says. Fooling around trying find an inert, spent, now harmless bullet, and likely causing more bleeding by poking and prying, and wasting time on not stopping serious bleeding sounds very unrealistic to me. I have to agree with #11's assessment, too.

The Joys of Busing, Huh? 9 replies
Posted by mc squared 7/2/2019 12:32:51 PM Post Reply
As contrived for the apparent purpose of embarrassing Joe Biden, Kamala Harris’ handwringer over racial-balance busing duly titillated the media. Who could suppose there was anything wrong with shipping children miles from their homes to satisfy what a federal judge said was the moral necessity of achieving a classroom mixture of black faces and white faces? And Biden had fought it at the federal level? The Homeric narrative thus organized itself around Sen. Harris’ account of “a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools, and she was bused to school every day. And that little girl was me.”

A decades-old mural in a San Francisco school will be removed from public view because of its depiction of Native Americans, the city’s Board of Education decided unanimously Tuesday night. The unanimous vote directs staff at George Washington High School to develop a project that would remove the 1936 mural by Victor Arnautoff from public view by either painting over it or using solid panels to cover it. Because the mural is painted directly onto the building’s walls, the mural must be covered and cannot be removed. To paint over the mural, an environmental impact report would be required, and that process could take a year and

In a weird twist on socialism, Bernie Sanders on Monday rolled out a plan to hand a $1.6 trillion gift to college-loan borrowers — who tend to be better off than the average taxpayer. He’d cancel all student debt, public and private — even for grad students and no matter the borrower’s income. Another $600 billion would go to make public universities and community colleges free. Sanders claims a tax on Wall Street transactions can raise $2.4 trillion to pay for it. But critics say the tax would lead to fewer trades — and generate far less revenue. Plus, many of those transactions are made on

There is, however, a simple and well-known legal reform that will go a long way towards deterring Antifa violence — even when police aren’t close by, but iPhones are. It’s called an anti-masking law.
