Rise of the religious left? DNC hires
faith outreach director to
address party's 'God problem'

In 2012, the last election Democrats won, a headline from their convention read: "Democrats boo God." In 2016, they heckled a preacher during the opening prayer. It's a perception they've been trying to change since, especially on the 2020 campaign trail. (Snip) The DNC hired former Washington, D.C. anti-Trump pastor, Rev. Derrick Harkins, who held a similar position in 2012 and has been the senior vice president of Union Theological Seminary in New York City, which recently celebrated "rejoicing in the queerness of God."

Here's their problem: They don't believe in God, unless of course Islam is involved, in which case the rest of the country is discriminating against them. Second problem: They believe they are gods.

The party of socialism thinks it can address all of the world's problems with more government control in the hands of a few of the "annointed ones" who do not subject themselves to the Divine Sovereignty of the Almighty. They pick and choose ONLY those verses in Scripture they think they can twist into supporting their OWN agenda points of view. Now they are going to try to get a Rev Hawkins to make people believe in Atheism? Falling for the tricks of propaganda instead of The Word?

The left believes in state run religion. Look at China. Look at the Islamic countries. There are plenty of clergy that would be happy to be at the front of a state run religion, being in charge and being in power. There are people that would be happy to follow a state run religion provided it benefits them.

Escalating tensions on Capitol Hill erupted into a contentious floor fight in the House of Representatives on Tuesday afternoon, as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke in favor of a proposed resolution condemning "racist" comments by President Trump--even as Republican leaders stood steadfast behind the president. Verdict caps mandated by Ohio law have downgraded those initial verdicts down to $25 million, however.

EDGEFIELD, S.C. Barr would not detail the plans, though a senior official said President Donald Trump is expected to issue a memorandum to the Commerce Department instructing it to include the question on census forms.
