Cuomo to Klobuchar: Why Can't

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) is asked why Democrats are unable to pack arenas with supporters like President Trump in an interview Tuesday night with CNN's Chris Cuomo. CHRIS CUOMO, CNN: Let's call it more MAGA or MAGA 2.0, whatever you want, the Amway Center in Orlando tonight is filled with a throng of cheering Trump supporters as this President tries to generate enthusiasm for his re-election bid. Quinnipiac today shows him trailing multiple top Democratic candidates in crucial battleground states. But remember, he was trailing in the polls in key states last time, and won.

Comments:

LOL! We need this laugh. Dems are scratching their heads. What, we don't want socialism?

They can't pack stadiums because evil and destructive ideas - thank the Lord - just aren't as popular as ideas founded in liberty and human dignity.

If they tailor their various candidates to a Congressional district Dems can sometimes win. It's the big picture where they break down. Liberalism adds up to one of those ugly paint-splattered pictures that is supposed to be sophisticated, but is really trash.

Because people don't want to be talked down to, insulted, and divided into groups to whip up division. All of these Democrats pander to special groups, but they think they are better than the people they hope to represent. And it shows.

Klobuchar’s reply: “Oh, but we do, Chris!” She added that there are so many democratic candidates filling stadiums that the press can’t keep up and that’s why the MSM doesn’t cover them. This is in the “is she for real?” tier of pathos. If 80 people show up for an event in an elementary school classroom featuring the frontrunner Biden the DNC press calls it a packed house. Collectively, Leftists are so clueless that they honestly believe a child’s lemonade stand is a business large enough to threaten societal order and needs to be regulated. And they wonder why no one wants them leading a country.

Principal reason, I think, after wondering for seventy years, is that only a rare democrat, liberal, socialist or communist (all much the same), has the inkling of the birth gift of a sense of humor. Other that a few comedians who were smart enough to fool people about their convictions, its a rare lib with that gift.

Dims still haven't tumbled to the fact that polls ALWAYS understate conservative support because conservatives don't talk to pollsters or, if they do, they misrepresent their preferences. Poll after poll have been belied by ballot results but the Left still puts absolute faith in the almighty poll numbers. Then, inevitably, they search for a conspiracy theory to explain why they lost yet another election which the polls said they would win.

Who succeeds? People that compete. Not people that feel they 'deserve' something. Not people who 'feel' they are owed something. People that compete succeed. And people that want to compete are not drawn to giveaways. They seek out those that challange them and then give them the opportunity to compete. Any successful athelete didn't get better by playing inferior competition. They got better by playing against the best. Sure, when one competes to win, they may lose. But they didn't participate for some trophy. They paticipated to get ahead, to win. Trump encourages competition. His reality show wasn't about 'deserving' or 'feeling', it was about competing and the best won. Why does Trump draw people out, cause winners want a challagne, not a handout.

Why? Real simple. They offer no hope, only misery. We are constantly blamed for being bad people. Whatever it is, it's ALL our fault. They call us racist for wanting to get rid of illegal aliens. We're racist for not wanting the homeless to relive themselves on our streets and shoot up in our restaurants. We're racists for not believing some idiot bartender who rambles about climate change, WWII and death camps at the border. They continually say that their beloved Socialism has always failed because it has never been properly implemented but THEY will, which does NOT speak well of the general intelligence of Socialists. It's ALL our fault and only THEY can fix us....Yeah....I want to queue up for hours to listen to that (not).

I dont know how ANYONE can pack such a venue. Its not worth putting up with the lack of parking, long lines, obnoxious security, horrible crowds and hours and hours of hurry up and wait just to hear more hours of local clowns before the headliner even shows up. Been there, done that. I'll watch on TV, if at all.

Imperiled Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden seems to be playing up his supposed brand: the wise, fair, experienced leader who’s the only Democrat grown-up enough to beat Donald Trump. Speaking at a Manhattan fundraiser Tuesday night, Biden reminisced to the assembled big-money donors about his “civil” relationships in the 1970s with racist fellow Democrats and even notorious segregationists like Mississippi Sen. James Eastland, known as the “Voice of the White South,” and Georgia Sen. Herman Talmadge. “He never called me ‘boy’; he always called me ‘son,’” Biden was quoted as saying of Eastland.

The rollercoaster trade negotiations conducted with China over the last few months coupled with mounting concerns over emerging technologies have underscored the looming presence the Asian superpower plays on the global stage of international relations and in the development of new technology. Let’s hope President Donald Trump gets America the better deal he promised. And let’s hope he hangs tough on the critical issue of telecommunications. The tensions between the U.S. and China over trade have escalated and, because of the race to 5G and the role played by Huawei, the Asian telecom conglomerate closely tied to the Chinese military and security services,

Millions of dollars raised for “freedom and democracy” in Venezuela ended up spent in Colombia by the aides of US-backed opposition leader Juan Guaido, and were exposed by Colombian spies in yet another blow to his cause. Guaido declared himself “interim president” of Venezuela in January and was recognized by the US and many of its Latin American allies, but has repeatedly failed to seize power from President Nicolas Maduro in Caracas. Now he seems farther from that goal than ever, as several of his aides have been named by Colombian intelligence in a leak revealing the embezzlement of US funds intended for paying Venezuelan army defectors.

‘Third World” is now an anachronistic geographical term of the old Cold War. But after 1989, “Third World” was reinvented from a political noun into an adjective to mean more than just Asian, African, and Latin American nations nonaligned with either the West or the Soviet bloc. Rather, the current modifier “Third World” has come to transcend geography, politics, and ethnicity. It simply denotes poor failed states all over the globe of all races and religions. Third World symptomologies are predictably corrupt government, unequal or nonexistent applicability of the law, two rather than three classes, and the return of medieval diseases
