ISIS plotted to send westerners to U.S

A chilling confession from a captured ISIS fighter has shed light on how the terrorist group intended to exploit the vulnerabilities of the U.S. border with Mexico, using English speakers and westerners to take advantage of smuggling routes and target financial institutions. (Snip)The attacks were described to Henricki as designed to “cripple the U.S. economy,” and he was said to have been informed that he would be issued false identification and passports and would be maneuvered from Puerto Rico to Mexico and then to the United States. The plan came from someone from the New Jersey

Comments:

According to the source, the plan came from someone in New Jersey; he was to take “the boat from Puerto Rico into Mexico” and then he was going to be smuggled into the States. He believed the plan was aimed at New York financial targets. The perpetrators wanted to use people from North America or English speakers to attack inside the U.S. to cripple the U.S. economy. Raises the question of whether the perpetrator(s) in New Jersey might be native-born American citizens; and, if so, what ties they may have to academe, financial institutions, or politics.

I would be surprised if they hadnt. Our intelligence and law enforcement agencies are doing, overall, a fantastic job. I say this because of the plethora of easily pulled off terrorists attacks that I have imagined, none of them have come to pass. Either that, or the terrorists are bleeding idiots.

While you were sleeping, the Democrats (abetted by some deviant Republicans) have been working on a plan that would destroy the diversity of the American political system and bring the nation to the brink of civil war. The plan is called The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, and tens of millions of dollars have already been spent over several decades trying to implement it. Fourteen blue states and the District of Columbia have already joined the Compact, which means they are 70% on the way to making their proposal the law of the land.

ELYRIA — The jury in the civil trial between Gibson’s Bakery and Oberlin College has a chance to take on “Goliath” and force change, according to an attorney for the bakery. During closing arguments Wednesday morning, Lee Plakas, the lead attorney for Gibson’s Bakery, told the jury members they had the power to send a clear message to the college and higher learning institutions. (Snip) Plakas told the jury that the outside world is watching the trial. He said the importance of the case can be seen by the number of attorneys in the courtroom for the trial and the fact

Speaker Nancy Pelosi told senior Democrats that she’d like to see President Donald Trump “in prison” as she clashed with House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler in a meeting on Tuesday night over whether to launch impeachment proceedings. (Snip) “I don’t want to see him impeached, I want to see him in prison,” Pelosi said, according to multiple Democratic sources familiar with the meeting. Instead of impeachment, Pelosi still prefers to see Trump defeated at the ballot box and then prosecuted for his alleged crimes, according to the sources. They said she was expressing solidarity with pro-impeachment Democrats

When Lee Plakas, the lead attorney representing Gibson’s Bakery, Allyn W. Gibson, and David Gibson, in their lawsuit against Oberlin College and Dean of Students Meredith Raimondo, started his closing argument this morning, he put a letter on the screen for the jury to see. It was entitled, “If Only Oberlin College Had Chosen to Do This.” This is what the jury and the rest of the crowded courtroom read: Dear Oberlin College Community, (Snip) We would like to reaffirm that Oberlin College respects the rule of law and believes that no individuals should expect, nor receive, special treatment,

The Trump administration is ending medical research by government scientists using human fetal tissue, a victory for abortion foes. At least one university's government funding will be terminated, effective immediately, although officials suggested that other research may allowed to continue under intense scrutiny. The policy change will not affect privately funded research that used human fetal tissue. Ending the use of fetal tissue by the government is a victory for anti-abortion activists, part of President Donald Trump's political base, as well as for his Vice President, Mike Pence, who has called the sale and use of fetal tissue 'horrific.'

Democrats are in the midst of a nearly three-year "tantrum" over the 2016 election of President Trump and their behavior has become "abusive," Sen. John Kennedy said Wednesday.(Snip)Kennedy, who sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee, called Nadler's actions "wicked crazy" and "wicked abusive," and questioned whether the subpoenas have any "legitimate" legislative purpose. "They've asked the administration for everything but the kitchen sink at the White House and they may ask for that," he said. Kennedy said when the White House or DOJ don't produce the documents, Democrats make "apocalyptic" claims about Trump undermining the Constitution.

RUSH: Speaking of Hillary Clinton, folks, we had this piece yesterday from the Federalist by Mr. H. A. Goodman, and it was one of those pieces that you read it, and you say, “Yeah, yeah.” You know it all, but you get kind of frustrated that you didn’t think of it all yourself. His point basically was (without rehashing the whole thing) that every bit of everything we know or think we know--every news item, every little bit of information that fed this narrative the past two years or three now, that Trump colluded with Russia--came not from American intelligence, not from British intelligence. It didn’t come from FBI intelligence.

President Trump sat down with Piers Morgan for ITV's "Good Morning Britain" and clarified controversial comments last week about Meghan Markle. Trump said he wasn't calling Markle nasty, but rather was just surprised to hear her comments about him, including her assertion that if he became president it would force Americans to relocate to Canada. "I wasn’t referring to 'she’s nasty.' I said she was nasty about me. And essentially I didn’t know she was nasty about me," Trump told Morgan in the interview, set to air on Wednesday.

And when it comes to emergency “handiness” scenarios, millennial dads fall short in almost every category.
